Bergrestaurant Metschstand in Lenk

Have never eaten so badly. Vegetables were so rubbery, some of them were still frozen, onion sauce was black, probably ancient, röschti was cold, sausage was very good, but the “cook” couldn't help it, it was from the Schläppi Lenk super butcher. The hen stew was a bland watery soup, vegetables from the frigor, hard, the hen was forgotten. An imposition. The service was very friendly.

Monday 2/26/24: Completely satisfied with the food and service. Food came quicker than expected. Interesting conversation with employee. Toilet clean. Optimization of access possible: Lay more rubber mats because of ice. Compared to the beginning of the winter season, I am currently satisfied. Because self-service is usually closed, there are capacity problems.

The fries weren't fried long enough and didn't taste like anything. We were pushed into the next room because we ordered “only fries” and that wouldn’t generate enough sales. It's best to give the restaurant a wide berth.

Very friendly welcome and service despite there being a lot of guests in the restaurant.

The food came quickly and was tasty, good portion. The waiters were very, very nice, understood how to have fun and cracked a few jokes.

We ordered Aelpermagronen, cheese slices and Wurstegal. The waiting time was within normal limits. Cheese slices were fine. Aelplermagronen were completely covered with fried onions, the potatoes were almost inedible and the dish had a strange taste In the Wurstegal menu, the vegetables were practically raw. Just briefly tossing it in the frying pan is simply not enough. The staff did not respond to our criticism. So the question of whether it was “good” is quite unnecessary. Basically you can say: poorly prepared canned food. Conclusion: They don't really have a clue about gastronomy. For us it is the worst restaurant in the ski area. Not recommended

The latest reviews say it all. Underground. The skewer was cold, the meat was as tough as a shoe sole. Service could hardly speak German. You couldn't drink the house coffee. Another example of how NOT to do it. We are slowly running out of options because one mountain restaurant is worse than the other 😭

Service doesn't work at all. Waited 20 minutes for a tea, the neighbor, who ordered a punch at the same time, was completely unnerved after 30 minutes and left with a dry nut croissant. At the next table someone asked whether the coffee and the nut croissants would be available today, and the waitress's curt answer was "or tomorrow." Incredible.

Goulash soup was excellent, staff was very friendly. Some 5* bunkers in the valley could make a difference.

The service team wasn't nice and didn't want to give us beer! Finally we only got closure because we gave a tip. Not a good experience as a local. Personally, I would never mind.

We waited 2 hours for our food. Every time we asked a waiter or waitress about it, they rudely turned us away. Same with paying. Very unprofessional service

My son got food poisoning after eating the chicken nuggets. Were undercooked!!

Where is the food authority when you need it?

Not recommended at all for camps, the food is terrible, for normal guests there are delicious dishes but very overpriced. (French fries + chicken nuggets for 23 francs, not too big)

The food was terrible and there was the corner of a tetra pack in my sauce. Please send the food authority because this is simply not the situation. Completely overpriced. (how can you give zero stars?)
