Unfortunately, today I had an extremely negative experience with a pizza delivery service and restaurant. The staff in both areas were extremely rude and unfriendly. When eating in the restaurant you were asked in a loud, almost screaming voice to get up and leave or pay more money because you apparently have to pay 2 Chf more to eat there. The delivery staff also came to the door angry and didn't even greet you, but directly complained about supposedly missing information, such as which floor I was on, even though I had provided all the necessary information on their website. The pizzas were disappointingly small, about the size of my hand span, and the quality of the ingredients left a lot to be desired. The taste was more reminiscent of a frozen pizza that had been warmed up than a freshly prepared version. Given the unprofessional service and poor quality, it is advisable to consider alternative dining options. There are much better price options, such as the Domino's branch next door, where you can get two large pizzas of excellent quality and with high-quality ingredients for 20.95 CHF. These pizzas are almost twice the size of the ones from the above restaurant and taste way better. In addition, the staff there are friendly and professional - an all-round pleasant dining experience is guaranteed. It's definitely worth choosing the Domino's branch and staying away from the other restaurant's poor service. Of course, you can also order larger pizzas from this pizza delivery service, but then it's no longer worth paying so much money. The Dominos version is much better because you pay the same amount for very large pizzas as you do for the smallest size at this branch . Not even one star is deserved given this rude service and quality, size and above all “value for money”

Unfortunately you can't rely on the quality. Sometimes it's ok and tasty, other times the identical order is inedible. I assume the goods are always bought from the cheapest supplier. Very unfortunate. I wrote but didn't receive a reply, so here it is.

Best Pizza simply makes good pizzas. Now for over 20 years. And at (almost) any time of day or night. Simply practical. Even if other restaurants are closed, a pizza at Best Pizza is always possible 😅

I don't like the pizza crust to be too dark... no problem... the pizza is perfect for me according to my "desire" and crispy for my husband as he loves it. 4. Price/Performance: Mega👏🏼 We are very happy to continue ordering here from Best Pizza 🍕 after having had some other not "tasty" experiences before.

Great pizzas, great pasta & always very fast deliveries. The pizzeria has been a cult favorite in Basel for a long time and always delivers the usual quality. What I personally like most besides the Pizza Ruccola are the opening times. Best Pizza is like an oasis at night when you're hungry after leaving.

I ordered 1 pizza diavolo and it came up, but definitely no diavolo...no salami on it, no pepperoni...just read the recipe again and see how it's done!! Then the fries cost 1 small portion 9.50.- abzoke puur and order a Coca Cola normal and they bring Coca Cola zero....really great shop because he also steals money the bill is really 21.50.- and he charged 25.60 .- Alao always do the math for everyone else because they are not able to.

Best Pizza deserves the name because it simply has the BEST PIZZA! Point...! Plus at a super fair price. Next time there will be a photo afterwards, unfortunately I wasn't able to do that because the pizzas haven't made it to the lens yet 😅 Also recommended to an Englishman on the street late at night because he couldn't find anywhere to eat at 11pm... He was SUPER happy too! 100% recommended! See you soon again and greetings from the neighborhood! Addendum: Always friendly service and the pizzas are prepared as quickly as possible... I have to say I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Best Pizza. From ordering to delivery, everything was just terrible. First of all, the customer service was anything but satisfactory. The employees were rude and unprofessional. I tried to place my order over the phone several times and each time I was turned away or hung up on. When I finally managed to place my order I was told delivery would arrive within 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting there was still no pizza in sight. When the pizza finally arrived I was shocked at the quality. The dough was tough and tasteless, the toppings were sparse and the tomato sauce tasted like it came from a can. It felt more like a paper plate with a few ingredients on it than an actual pizza. In addition, the pizza was also unappetizingly presented. It arrived cold and the cheese was all smeared and clumped together. It definitely wasn't eye candy. All in all, I can only describe Best Pizza as a complete disappointment. I will never order there again and strongly advise others not to. There are many better pizzerias in the city that offer higher quality and delicious pizzas.

Worst pizza ever. The filling was completely wrong and the size was smaller. After complaining, a new pizza arrived which was completely burnt, cold and tasted like garbage. Pineapple or one of the other ingredients seemed to have expired (at least in terms of taste). Absolute waste of time and money. The pizzas used to be good, but apparently there is no longer any emphasis on quality control (on certain days, times or in general).

I like to order from BEST PIZZA often, especially when I don't feel like cooking, but I'm tired of the food arriving without asking, I've sent the food back a few times, I found the sandwiches hard or too salty . Especially lately. I once ordered a chicken sandwich and found "cooked" plastic in it. Sometimes they came to me cold... I can say it's good because they will be at your place to deliver after half an hour... 40 minutes maximum. There are many things to improve.

I ordered a calzone and as an extra side dish I chose an additional egg and gorgonzola. I even wrote in the note that they didn't forget the second egg... This is now the 3rd time I've ordered it exactly like that and not once was neither the egg nor gorgonzola included in the calzone. AN IMPUDENCE

Probably the Worst pizza I’ve had in Basel. No toppings, no cheese, not even enough spread base sauce. Felt like they make pizza with Zero interest, didn’t even bothered to spread the 2 toppings I got in Vegetaria evenly and cut the pizza in equal portions. Comparing it other pizza outlets like Fresco and pizza time.

Was pleasantly surprised!!! There are almost no good pizza delivery services in Basel. Often the quality of the ingredients is inadequate and the pizza is therefore terrible. I have known BestPizza for over 20 years. The dough is crispy, the cheese is better than others and the meat (salami/ham) are definitely better than others. The price-performance ratio is right at this store. For 18-22 CHF you can get a good pizza for a late night hunger. The negative comments here are simply fake. I don't know anyone in my circle of friends who has had bad experiences with Bestpizza. On the contrary!!! How often have we ordered or picked up pizzas after midnight... Dear Bestpizza team, keep it up and stay with us for a long time.

Worst Pizza Parma I've ever eaten. Raw ham was baked and was salty, the dough was hard and the pizza was topped with olives (?).

My family and I were on vacation, traveling the beautiful Basel area. We decided we needed a night to relax and eat at our Airbnb with a nice glass of wine and good conversation before setting off to our next destination. After smelling the wonderful aroma of fresh garlic and sauce permeating beneath us throughout our stay, we decided to try it for ourselves. It proved to be a great addition to our last night in Basel!

Ordered via eat.ch I ordered 2 penne and salad, one of which was penne, the sauce wasn't fresh and it tasted like a 0.70 can from Aldi. No sauce was provided with the salad and when I tried to ask in the restaurant, I was told not to be like that, I can just buy my own salad sauce and they need to be rude to customers. NO FRIENDLY SERVICE!!!!

I honestly love this pizza-piles of greasy cheese, crisp crust and all. I recommend dropping by in person (usually a 7-ish minute wait); ordering a Margarita & taking it to eat at Kannenfeld park which is nearby or grab Tram 1 to the Rhine. Only 10.- per pizza. They are a bit smaller than most & just right for me. When I want to totally indulge in comfort food, this is the place.

Super fine pizza, very nice suppliers. I have 1 suggestion for improvement: the tipping feature at check-out on your website would be really good. Personally, I rarely have cash in my pocket, I pay for everything with Twint and card and so I can never tip the delivery person, which I think is a shame.
