Everywhere in Zurich is so expensive so this place seems cheap. The self-order device at the entrance is broken and the waiter standing next to you only bothers to say it's broken when you ask. I can't say it's a very good burger, it's not bad that's all. Would I go again, no!

After traveling to Germany, we decided to try Burgermesiter in Zurich and it never disappointed. Very good, full and satisfying. Definitely a place I will go again.

Great food, juicy burgers, well seasoned except from the slaw. Unfortunately our order got mixed up and we had to ask twice to get what we wanted.

It's not the best burger but it's reasonable for the price. In the evening it is crowded which leads to a long wait. The toilets are clean. And the staff friendly. Price/performance good. You should expect around 20-30 fr per person for a menu.

Sure, there are even better and hipster burgers in Zurich, but Burgermeister offers down-to-earth and fine burgers at reasonable prices and is clearly a better choice than the burgers from McD & Co., which are murdered in flavor-enhanced sauces.

We went to this restaurant just under a year ago and it had the single best burger we have ever had across any of our international trips. Any time someone asks us about what to do in Europe our first thought is go to the Burgermeister in Zurich, and we would fly all the way back there to have it again one day. Good burger but the home made lime was just a squirt from a couple of bottles, which is a bit naughty. Fries are overpriced too.

The hamburger itself tastes good, but the fries are not crispy at all. The buns are very soft, making it difficult to hold the hamburger with your hands. The paper plates are very small, which is why eating with cutlery is not easy. You have to get drinks from a fridge yourself and you have to charge extra for Becker.

Great burger, option for gluten free bun (at additional cost). Most burgers gluten free (not the chicken due to breadcrumbs). The chips (fries) are NOT gluten free - allergens are not stated on self-service till but staff happy to answer questions. Pricey for semi 'fast food' but that's Switzerland (46 CHF for two burgers (with GF bun surcharge) and two drinks). Food served quickly and was very tasty - recommend the raclette burger.

I haven't had such a bad burger in a long time. The woman at the checkout is 0% friendly and not helpful. Even McDonald's burgers taste better... not recommended.

2023.10 This is a burger shop that you can easily stop by, located in a little back alley. The price seems high, but I think it's good because it's made in Switzerland. My favorites are the truffle burger, chili burger, and sweet potato fries. During lunch time, many students flocked to the place, so the place quickly filled up.

Ate at Burgermeister Kaserne yesterday and here today. The burger is simply great. The service here was particularly friendly. I'll come back when I'm back in Zurich!

The burgers and fries were delicious (my wife said it may have been the best burger she's ever had). Service was great also. We basically speak no Swiss German at all, but the staff there spoke English very well.

I will refer to the opion of Thomas Pastrek, as I remeber this situation and it was completely different then he described. 30 minutes before closing the restautant starts to give the orders to take away. What is practise in many locals, as the staff has to close the day by ordering and cleaning the place before the end of the shift. The clients are informed before taking the order, that it will be a take away order and if it is ok for them. (just to remind: a take away order is an order that is packed to be eaten outside the place). He agreed. Then 5 minutes before closing, with a group of friends, they start to sit on the already ordered tables, and unpack their take away boxes.. I think this is disrespect of the staff, because if some rules are earlier discussed and they agreed on them, should be respected without pretensions later

So at the beginning we ordered a burger with fries for 31 francs, which is abnormally expensive. We wanted to pay and something came up on the card machine and we didn't know what to press and the employee told us cheeky oh man and looked at us very strangely. After 20 minutes we got our food, a fries with a bit of cheese on top for 10 francs and a burger for 21, which was no longer normal. I bit into the burger and it was still so fluffy and we looked inside and saw that the meat was so pink that we were disgusted to continue eating.

I'm only giving it three stars because the food is just way too expensive. Otherwise it was delicious...

A big shout out to Burhan! We ordered some burgers through Uber eats and they really got it all wrong. I called the restaurant directly and Burhan was great, he brought a new set of our order himself to our place, great! We were really touched, thank you so much!

Me and my colleague placed an order and took it with us, then when we looked in the bag the food wasn't right and we went back and said our order was wrong. The employees who worked there weren't understandably full and didn't want to give us the money back and didn't want to cook the food again. The employee took our order incorrectly. The person who wasn't involved was understanding and tried very hard. In the end we had our food but it wasn't warmed at the end and we as customers were annoyed.

Actually, I wanted a hamburger as we know it. On the way to Trittligasse we stopped at the restaurant where hamburgers were offered on the board. Assuming we would get a typical hamburger here, we were disappointed. Instead of the slightly soggy bun, the bland meat patty and slightly soggy vegetables, we got a "high end burger". How does this work?: You come to the counter, get advice (!), calmly (!) order the burger you want with one of the attractive side dishes and get the receipt with the order number. Then you wait a few minutes longer than at the big burger chains and realize after picking it up at the counter that it's really worth it. Here the burger is not a run-of-the-mill snack, but a real culinary experience! The roll is fresh and airy, the side dishes are well chosen and fresh, the desired sauce (daughter chose truffles) is of excellent quality and the meat is of really great quality. The supplements are carefully made and we didn't find any real points of criticism here either. Contrary to the standard that you feel hungry again shortly after eating a burger, here you have the feeling that you have eaten really well and enough even after hours. The price is higher than MC and King, but it's more than worth it. Conclusion: We would love to come back!

Very tasty burgers and a nice selection of beers. Would definately recommend the spicy cheese burger. The fries aren't bad either It is a bit expensive, like the rest of Zurich restaurants but it is worth it if visiting.

Now as an American, I don't have any expectations for any burger place that is a chain. Plus I like my burgers medium rare. So I was impressed with the taste of the truffle burger. I also had the truffle fries. A little pricey for a burger place, but I am not unhappy either.

- Dirty establishment, windows gray like after a renovation, shabby. - But then it's massively overpriced at 102 CHF for 3 normal burgers with 2 fluffy fried fries and a measly side salad. The best were the 3 limmos (!) - Quality of the side dishes would have been much better in McDonald. - Even in Zurich not worth more than 65 CHF. Pity... This used to be a good address!

Decent burger place. I like that they aren't overly greasy. They have a beer and drink selection as well. The lemonade is done with sparkling water and is really mild (tastes watered down to me). It's in a nice section of town.

Burgers are tasty, counter man appreciated the importance of listening to each of our five orders - some hate mayo, others don’t mind; some think (correctly) that ketchup is for French fries not hamburgers. Service was prompt.

There is no table service, self service. Good sandwiches, ok environment, friendly staff. Good value for money. Both sweet and normal potatoes, very good.

Dirty food and bad service, specially, the old counter lady.

The worst attitude we have ever experienced even though we were the only customers walked in the place was completely empty at that time. The lady at the counter was very unwelcoming and rude before we even start ordering. Do not recommend there are plenty of other burger places with better food and welcoming employees at that area.

Nothing special at this food, but at least fresh. Tasteless lemonade. In fact it was just yellow water with more than a half glass of ice cubes.

Friendly service and very tasty vegan burgers and fries. There is as much ketchup and mayo you want. 50 CHF is of course a lot, but Swiss prices are of course high (compared to Germany).

Great burger and fries. Came here for the gluten free option. This must be the largest burger I had so far and I live in North America. GF buns tend to be much smaller than regular dough but in this case it was larger. They also have sweet potato fries

Burgers as good as any other location. However, the operation leaves a lot to be desired. For the second time, the lady in blonde with an accent attracted negative attention. Arrogant and zero goodwill. I will not visit this location again in the future.

Hot, juicy burgers packed with flavour and at an affordable price (especially if you're a tourist trying to find something that isn't too pricey). Great for anyone looking for a quick meal/break, and at an affordable price. We got the cheeseburger and chilli cheeseburger, both were a big hit. The chicken Ceasar salad needed some sauce for an extra lift, but the chicken was nice and crispy and the lettuce fresh. Would 100% come back again.

Very expensive for a very small amount of food, unsmiling staff as they strip us. The McDonald's is 200 meters away, I recommend it!

The food was great. We had 2 different burgers. Unfortunately, we were seated a bit awkwardly, so we had to get up every time we finished our order to see if it was our number. Of course, that makes the wait a bit stressful. And I thought the price was a bit too expensive, so I deducted a star for the two things. Nevertheless, worth a visit if you want to eat good burgers.

I strongly advise against the prices are exorbitant, and the staff is unpleasant. 4 burgers for 71.- I think a smile could have been included. I paid the price of a Barca sweatshirt at a burger restaurant that makes burgers that are the size of Chesburgers at McDonald's for 18.- The next day I made burgers they were 4x better and especially 4x for me dear

The place was mid but the burgers was way to small for 18 fr without potatoes and drink. The drink is 5fr but only 33cl

The burger is one of the best, but prices have raised up to 15%, beer more than 30%- even I like it very much and can do it, I will not visit Burgermeister anymore, houseburger + beer in self-service CHF 33 exceed the limit of appropriateness
