Bibibowl 비비볼 (한식당) in Lausanne

Ordered by UberEats...The first time in November, the second in March. Their bibimpap chicken (2x) was inedible! Bad taste and strange smell..difficult to determine if it is spoiled food or cooking.

Today was the 12th day and last day of my trip, so I searched for Korean food and went to Montreux Dotori Korean Restaurant, but it was not open so I drove 35 minutes to the Korean restaurant. It was difficult to find parking because it was located in the middle of the city, but the moment I ordered the food and took a bite, I was blown away by the indescribable taste. It's so delicious. Thank you again for providing a 50% discount for children and even snacks for the children. Boss, stay healthy. I'll see you next time I come. If you're coming to Lausanne, trust me and go. The price is reasonable and it is the best.

The food is simply incredible. Authentic cuisine and incredibly friendly, polite and respectful staff. Their smile was as joyous as their food. Highly recommend the pork Bibimap, truely outstanding and succulent. Kimichi was amazing as well. This place is very small however, so be prepared to eat on the go. It’s well worth it though.

Large portions, very cheap by Swiss standard

The restaurant is pet-friendly and the food is amazing. We went there today with our dog and they prepared water for her and gave her some treats as well. Thanks a lot!

What a little gem in Lausanne! We went in very late and they only have bibimbap left. Oh boy, the bibimbap is better than any bibimbap we had in London, by a wide margin. You get lots of different fresh ingredients and they are all well seasoned. The sauce is really good. I can see they put some effort into making it. Now my wife wish she could have it every week for lunch!

I stopped by on my way to Montreux to see Santa. Most of the customers were local people. People working in the boss's kitchen They are very friendly and they are all Korean. I've been to a lot of Korean restaurants in Europe. The kitchen is often occupied by foreigners. I enjoyed the kimchi served as a service^^ I was planning to take out the kimbap. I was disappointed that the meat kimbap was sold out.

I stopped by this place two months ago while on a bike trip and it was really delicious. I was really hungry for local food, so I went and ate bibimbap and kimbap, and it was really delicious. The store also sells Shin Ramyun packets. The Korean female employee provided me with Choco Pie and water, which I was very thankful for.

I stopped by for lunch while traveling in Lausanne. It's 100 times better than the bibimbap I had in Bern. The owner gave me tangerines and dumplings as a complimentary treat. Have a prosperous business

Kimbap and japchae were premade but still fresh (we had the vegetables menu that day), and the bibimbap was prepared in the kitchen. The green peas didn't really scream Korean but overall taste was tasty. The staff was attentively offering us with the condiment sauce, my preference is the spicy one. Overall it's a nice simple lunch place for quick Korean fix :)

The bulgogi kimbap was really delicious. When I was tired of Western food while traveling in Europe, the bulgogi kimbap served with ramen was the best. It seems like a place where you can relax and have a hearty meal of Korean food at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and it was a pleasant experience at a Korean restaurant in Lausanne.

It's a Korean restaurant that I like very much, I've been there several times. The Korean proprietress is warm and kind, and she really likes the spicy bibimbap! It's just a pity that take-out tends to get cold, which affects the taste... and the dine-in area is too crowded, making dining uncomfortable. Don’t forget to use your points card! If you collect 10, you can get a free copy, and there are also discounts for students. Although this store is small, it displays Korean culture very well, whether it is the latest k-pop played on the TV, Korean cultural lessons and other promotions posted on the wall, or you can read about Korea while queuing up for food. Movie magazines are all very good and worth learning~

It takes a while to find a seat on the first basement floor. Business is very good. Fortunately, I arrived early. Otherwise there will be no seats The shop is small and only has one table for four and one table for two. Korean bibimbap is delicious with both chicken and pig😋 But the seaweed rice is super popular and I don’t recommend it. You can order dumplings to go with it Overall, I recommend the bibimbap because it is delicious👍🏻

This is a Korean restaurant I stopped by during my trip to Lausanne, and the bulgogi and jeyuk bibimbap are really, really delicious. It's awesome.. More than anything, the store owner and staff really welcomed me brightly, so I had a good meal and left. ^^ This is a Korean restaurant I highly recommend! I want to visit again next time haha

This place is run by a Korean owner in the old town of Lausanne. While I was staying in Lausanne, I remember being grateful for the friendly welcome I always received every time I visited. When my father-in-law and mother-in-law came to visit from Korea, they tried it and agreed that it was delicious. Switzerland is expensive, but this is a place where you can eat bibimbap, kimbap, etc. at a very reasonable price. I really liked jeyuk bibim, and my wife liked kimbap. Bibimbap may be too much for a woman to eat alone. I always ate it all, but my wife only had a little left over. There is also a student menu that is slightly cheaper than the regular menu, but I have never tried it. I remember that the owner made the kimchi himself. I remember there were two types of bibimbap sauce, but I always used the red pepper paste-based(?) sauce. It operates during lunch hours, and takeout is recommended unless you go alone. If you look next to the cash register, you can find Korean ramen and snacks, and there are some products that aren't sold at nearby Asian marts, so I occasionally buy them.

Good food at a reasonable price and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately there is limited seating space because this place is mainly for takeout. However, I was lucky that it was a beautiful day and I was able to eat outside.

The Korean owner is so kind. It's the most satisfying meal I've had since coming here. There is also a small table outside. I think you get a lot of discounts if you're a college student. Be sure to stop by when you're hungry.

Wrong Uber order for my colleagues and me (so order for 5 people) and when I contact Bibibowl to warn them, I am sent to pasture in order. Zero gesture or apology. Bad businesswoman, never again!!! P.S: yes yes, it's you, Bibibowl, and not Tasty Korea, so no need to blame other restaurants (isn't that defamation?) or to believe that the customers are so stupid to go to the wrong restaurant when leaving a review (!) I contacted you to inform you of the omissions in the order (the sauces in particular) and you didn't want to know anything. It's too late now to fix the problem until it becomes public!

I live in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, and I visited this place while traveling in Lausanne with a friend from Korea. My friend was impressed by the bibimbap that was made more carefully than in Korea. Since it was only lunch, the menu was simple, but clean and delicious. Even though it was lunchtime on a weekday, there were a lot of local people. It seems like it's already a popular place with locals 👍The weather was so nice that we were able to eat at a table outside while enjoying the view... I think you should take into account that there are not many seats inside on inclement or cold days. I saw in the reviews that there was a long wait, so I was prepared and went, but I think our food came out in about 5 minutes. Although it was Korean food, it didn't have the typical garlic smell that Korean food has, so I ate a hearty meal and walked around the city of Lausanne comfortably. The staff were so friendly that I will remember them for a long time🤗

The food was excellent! Both the bibimbap and gimbap are good and pretty authentic, I enjoyed it! However, I think the restaurant could organize better to improve their speed, the wait was quiet long and it wasn’t too crowded either, that’s why i removed 1 star

Excellent experience, everything was perfect! Impeccable and attentive service, delicious and healthy meals in a pleasant atmosphere. We arrived at 12:00 just at the right time, because afterwards there were a lot of people... but it's worth the wait to eat this real treat.

It's completely Korean. I highly recommend it. There's a reason it's only open until 3 o'clock. You are very busy. The virtue of waiting when ordering Required. I don't know when, but I will come again.^^

4.8/5 superb bibimap bowl. I had the bulgogi bowl for 21 francs. It's expensive for me sure but the food was good. The ingredients tasted very fresh and the bulgogi quality was very good. Overall, would recommend!

I couldn't tell the owner because I thought it would be burdensome, but my goal was to go to Vevey, and the reason I chose Lausanne as my base instead of Montreux was because of this Korean restaurant. The food is so good and the prices are so good that I’m so sad I’m leaving tomorrow! I didn't receive any benefits because I'm an office worker, but if you're a student, you can get a discount at a really good price (which is ridiculous in Switzerland). The owner is very friendly, and the restaurant itself is very popular! Business seemed to be going really, really well! In some way, I felt proud as a fellow Korean. I am eating kimchi after only 2 weeks of traveling, and I am so happy. Thank you very much for taking good care of me, boss. I hope you prosper even more♡

My child developed allergies due to an overseas trip and the food wasn't suitable for him, so I went looking for Korean food. I ordered bibimbap topped with fresh vegetables and bulgogi or pork, and packed kimbap and kimchi fried rice, all of which were very delicious. I really wanted to go to a Korean restaurant, so I was looking for it and ended up visiting it. It was really, really delicious. The meat was seasoned well, the vegetables were fresh, and the restaurant was clean! I would also like to recommend it to people who travel.

Too bad their prices have drastically increased: 22.- per bowl now. Ok times are difficult, we have to adapt but this is exaggerated. With all respect to this friendly team, I go elsewhere where the prices are correct.

I am delighted with this restaurant, with very reasonable prices for students and SUPERB quality. Would not change a thing!

I absolutely love this place ❤️ they're so friendly and amazing cooks. The food is delicious. If you're into simple Korean cuisine and enjoy fresh and fulfilling products, you're at the right spot. I always get the CupBap because it's the perfect size but if you're really hungry the bowl is amazing 👏 there's kpop playing in the background at all times. It's quiet a small shop so if you plan to eat inside you should come early 🥰

I worked for 2 years right next door. So I've eaten there more than a hundred times since I filled out more than 10 loyalty cards... Everything is perfect!!! Not only is the food excellent but the welcome is incredible!!! In my opinion, it is simply the best place to eat in the center of Lausanne at lunchtime. In addition, they are making a huge effort to have a better ecological impact. For example, they reduce your bill by one franc if you come with your own container. I found this place by chance when I went to the Lausanne area! But it really wasn't a coincidence, it was a house worth visiting on purpose! It was the most delicious food I had in Switzerland! And the owner was really kind. He even made warm mixed coffee himself, and it was so delicious! If you're thinking about it, go ahead and eat it! It has a lot of vegetables and is really delicious!
