I was exploring the streets of Lucerne and stumbled upon this amazing Biryani place. The menu is limited but the owner takes great care in delivering home cooked food experience. I tried the lamb biryani and kebab which were amazing. The owner is very friendly and shared his story on how he started this joint.

Found this homey place on a rainy day in Lucerne and I couldn’t make a better choice. Both the chicken and lamb briyani are so tender, moist, and authentic, you’ll forget that you’re in the middle of Switzerland. Definitely better than anything I ever had in the neighboring Zurich and on par with what I had traveling around Asia. Naim, the owner, warmly welcomes us as if we’re old friends. Must visit!

First time in a restaurant that cooks typical dishes from this Pakistani region. The rice with sweet curry, lamb and raisins is very good. The place is spartan but the owner is very courteous. Prices are average for the area and therefore high.

Biryani House was a positive surprise for us. While looking for dinner on Monday evening (a lot of things are closed), I came across the Biryani House on Google Maps. The short menu and the many recent positive reviews made us curious, because we were not aware that biryani can be a complete, complexly spiced spicy dish. We had chicken biryani and lamb biryani and really liked both. Even if the dishes may seem a bit boring in the photos, they definitely are not in terms of taste. The yoghurt-mint sauce served with it softens the spiciness a bit and otherwise goes very well with it. Nice courteous service. Very good value for money.

Came in with my family of 13 people, greeted by the owner/cook very happily. Even though he is alone, taking the orders and then cooking for 13 people, it was very fast service. Food was great and warm after a long day's of sightseeing. Just what we needed. Lamb biryani was my personal favourite. He even gave a free plate of rice biryani for the little one in my family. Recommended halal place to eat.

The food was excellent, probably one of the best briyani I've had. The portions were good, the rice was flavourful and the meat was juicy and tender (we ordered both chicken and lamb). The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. If you're in Luzern and enjoy a good plate of briyani, you cannot miss this.

Found this gem near the chapel bridge as we were craving for a good meal. This place did not disappoint. The lamb and chicken biryani were both good. The serving portions were enough for us and the sheesh kebab was also tasty. The owner was very nice and accommodating as well.

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious HALAL biryani here. One of the few places open after 9pm so it was a nice place to wrap up after a long day. Owned by Uncle Naeem - reminds you of your fun uncle at family weddings. We had the lamb and chicken biryani, we are bengali so he adjusted spice levels for us kindly. The meats are on the bone so adds its own unique flavour. He even made us desi tea (off menu) on request. Enjoyed good conversation with him also. Very simple but nice decor inside, good/chilled indian music in the background too. All in all 10/10 experience, halal food, good vibes. Everyone MUST come here!

Biryani served here is no where close to authentic Indian biryani. It’s more like some colored rice mixed with chicken and has a bland taste. Non Indians might like the taste. No doubt, 2 stars for the owner who is very friendly.

I visited this store because it was cheap and had good reviews, but I really liked it because the distance was right and the store was clean! I had Chicken Briyani and Samosa and it was really delicious. The chicken was soft, and the crispy samosa was full of potatoes and vegetables. The bathroom was clean and the owner was friendly too. 👍🏻👍🏻 I recommend it.

We had a lovely conversation that added a personal touch to our dining experience. The food was nothing short of amazing. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made us feel right at home. I can't recommend this place enough especially for Arabs – it's a gem in every sense. We'll definitely be returning when I visit Switzerland again in the near future.

I'm not Indian and cannot value how the real briyani shall taste but I can secure you that after eating here you will feel amazing and most probably return - all ingredients, including slowly cooked halal meat and used oil, are fresh and give together a homemade dish flavour even though this is a real fastfood (ready on plate in max 5min). The environment is ethnic with very well matching Bollywood music and you can either eat inside or take away. I either eat at top restaurants here in Luzern and high end villages around or this Briyani House already for more than 10 months of my permanence in Luzern. This place is exceptionally good when after 10pm all others have closed their kitchen and the options available are never reaching the same level. Just try it, most probably you won't be disappointed.

I regularly cook Hyderabadi biryani at home. Calling this food biryani is a total abuse and this doesn’t even come close to chicken pulao. If you do not know what the true flavors or taste is supposed to be, you might enjoy this food.
