Bistro Im Guss in Bülach

Thank you very much for the great Easter brunch that we were able to experience with our family! We are totally satisfied with everything, very attentive and friendly service; Generous offering and extremely fair prices! Our guests from the Bern region and Kt. Obwalden were full of praise. The only point of criticism: it was very loud, i.e. the noise insulation was not optimal because the ceiling was very high. A normal loud conversation was not possible. Maybe something else could be done. Nonetheless, we will definitely come back! Thank you!

Fine scrambled eggs. A bit of a long wait - but it was also rush hour

I actually think the play area makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately, it was always dirty when I was there - even when I was the first customer to come in in the morning. Unfortunately, things aren't really cleaned there: there's food leftovers on the shelves and on the floor, dust, and spills everywhere. The toys are also either broken or dirty. The fabric benches are dirty. The child seats are all completely dirty...and and and. So it's not fun to go there with children. I know, children are chaotic, but you can expect a certain level of hygiene there, especially when the shop is open. I hope that changes soon.

We actually wanted to have brunch but it was completely over the top for the price We go to brunch a lot tomorrow and always spend between 32-38 per person with a much larger selection We shared a Pinza because of the exorbitant prices, but we weren't thrilled with it either It's a shame the place is pleasant and friendly, the staff is very friendly

Cozy atmosphere. A place to stay. Also suitable with children. You can even find books for young and old. Good coffee machine. Delicious dessert offering. A daily menu with and without meat. Various snacks. Tea selection. Friendly service.

The coffee is good. But this place is very very dirty. The chairs look like children have wiped their snot and burped on them. It was unpleasant for us personally to be here because of the dirt.

Once again a very nice experience and great for small children.

The prices are too high, there is no staff service, and there is usually no peace on Sundays because it is too crowded with families and their noisy kids.

Great, comfortably furnished café in Bülach - we stop there on our bike rides. The home-brewed iced tea is highly recommended. I would especially like to say a thank you to Lorine, the employee, who always puts a smile on our faces with her friendly, benevolent and courteous manner. Until next time in the cast.

Great bistro. Nice selection for snacks, unfortunately self-service. There is certainly not enough staff here for a staffed bistro, so self-service is understandable. In my opinion you still need to work on the prices. Cappucino and croissant costs over 7 SFR, which is on the upper limit for me.

Well located bistro with a very friendly team. It's especially good to spend time outside. But somehow table service is actually part of a (French) bistro. But since people seem to prefer queuing today instead of waiting and leafing through a newspaper, I'll leave it alone. The baked goods are excellent, the cappuccino is very good, although a bit too weak for my taste. All in all a nice place to spend your morning or lunch. Unfortunately mostly closed in the evenings.

Finally a place to linger, work, take a break - and it's very close to me!

Super friendly and courteous service; Super pleasant atmosphere, you can have a normal conversation, music is pleasantly discreet in the background. The food is varied, healthy (also vegetarian and vegan) and very tasty!

Service, kitchen and the place itself, in the 5 star range... Really recommended. Cozy, clean, friendly and at the same time with a lot of charm. 😊

We have been regular guests at the bistro for a long time. Be it just to grab a quick lunch while working from home, for a long brunch on Sunday or for coffee and cake with friends - everything is possible in the bistro. The food is always delicious, the staff friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is simply inviting. A huge compliment to the whole team, keep it up! :)

Great brunch and great service. Large selection of different cold cuts/meat, cheese, fruits, rolls etc. Good egg dishes (tried scrambled eggs with bacon). Gladly again!

Industries like a king! Definitely try it out. But it's not cheap. To be on the safe side, reserve in advance!

The children's corner is great and it's generally a nice coffee place. Personally, I think that 6.20 for self-service is a bit on the high price range, considering that you are coming with the family. The croissant for 2.- is also more of a kiosk price. The children's cappucino for 3.- is also not without, it was once 2.- 1 year ago, if you pass the 1.- on to the farmer it would be ok with me.

Very tasty breakfast on Sunday morning at a fair price with super friendly service. Will definitely come back soon.

For families with small kids it's okay, the bread is super good, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right, it's very expensive, there's no more special things like salmon etc. at breakfast

Great brunch offer, delicious food, spicy atmosphere. Parking spaces on weekends are rare.

The atmosphere is very chilled. I really like the facility. You can also sit outside when the weather is nice. The dishes are freshly prepared.

We went to Bistro & S for the first time last Sunday and everything was very good. The service first explained to us how everything worked with brunch and we were then able to eat. Price performance is top. We'll definitely come back.😊

My favorite Bistro this side of Zurich city. Fantastic with kids and they have some great baked goods. Super friendly staff and it has a homey vibe because of that. It's a great place for a quick pick-me-upper and or to just sit and relax. It is also nice for bringing your Laptop and getting your work done. If in and around the area, definitely worth a stop for a coffee and a bite.

I love the bakery products in the bistro. Just awesome!! Very friendly staff and a very nice restaurant which is stylishly furnished. The only thing...the brunch is on the expensive side.

Very nice cafe/bistro in Bülach, only the Guss Zmorga (it says, among other things, cheese meat platters, that's definitely not it) is a bit tight, so I would recommend choosing one at a time at the fine counter. Otherwise really very nice.

Very homely furnished, lots of space, good selection and a large range of books and board games. It also has a children's corner for the little ones to play.

Nice cafe & bakery! also very child friendly. Unfortunately I have to adjust the 5 stars because this would currently not be true. Service and checkout - very slow and sometimes almost overwhelmed. Unfortunately the coffee/capuccino is no longer good, a barista would have to come in again. Conclusion: Very fine pastries and food, unfortunately -2 stars for service & staff.

Quite expensive for the portion size! The soup was bland and unimaginative... What a shame!

The absolute best “hang out” cafe in Bülach

The service is really slow, the baristas don't wear masks and if you want hot cocoa they just give you milk and the chocolate wrap to make it yourself. I don't recommend

Great atmosphere and quality. Again and again!

A few days ago my husband and I had our wedding reception here. From the beginning to the celebration, Ms. Göldi gave us very professional and competent advice. Even if something was unclear, we responded by email within a day. We were allowed to use the back part of the bistro. I also found it pleasant that we had direct access to the room and didn't have to walk through the entire bistro. It was a pleasant, harmonious celebration and Ms. Göldi and her team really spoiled us with culinary delights. I can warmly recommend the bistro, you immediately feel like you're in good hands and the food is of course very good ;)

Today we were looking for a place to have a late breakfast and found it in the bistro in Guss. It's a sunny place with the best handmade baked goods in Bülach — super friendly manager and service. We bake our own sourdough bread. We would be happy to come back and recommend visiting this place. For the late, delicious breakfast - even after 12 o'clock - there is another star ⭐ extra!

Very cozy, invites you to linger

Today we decided to look for a nice, cozy café in Bülach that still has sun after 4 p.m. in November. Bingo. Saw it as I was passing by and immediately caught a glimpse of a table in the sun. Also brand new, cozy and simply inviting. Bright, open room interior, great selection of baked goods, desserts, snacks and drinks warm and cold as well as aperitif items. Sejr recommended. The location is also great, not in the middle of the city.

Super nice coffee/bistro!! Food was super tasty. A large, beautiful play area for the little guests. This will probably be my new regular coffee with my daughter 🥰 That's exactly what was missing in Bülach 🙌Thank you
