Decent burgers, great shake. I recommend sharing a shake between at least 2 people (I find 3 people the best)

Nice place to come and enjoy a delicious burger… but above all eat the craziest ice cream. A true visual and taste treat.

I recommend, while passing through Geneva I stopped at this very attractive restaurant with a tempting menu. I take the Texan, killer, but be careful the fries are extra.... Very musical atmosphere, the sound is very well balanced. Price level, don't forget that we are in Switzerland lol....

The milkshakes are pretty good, the big one is definitely to share. Staff nice and thoughtful. We’ll be back for the burgers.

Lunch With two customers, we order three basic burgers. Asked for medium cooking, arrived completely dry, a leaf of salad, a large pickle, a slice of tomato as hard as plastic. Very very very very basic, two fries 3 cokes, for more than 100 chf! Loud music, unbearable noise, some customers even deciding to leave the premises because it's so annoying. We like young and dynamic atmospheres, but this! We won't come back again.

We visited during off-peak hours and luckily didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered the Texan burger, which was delicious but a bit challenging to eat as it was served deconstructed. Nonetheless, the beef was cooked perfectly. The service was ok, nothing extraordinary, the food didn’t take too long to arrive, but the music was a tad too loud for my liking.

From the welcome to the dessert, there is only one word to describe this restaurant: perfect. An American atmosphere that immerses us in the New York Bronx, juicy burgers that delight our taste buds and what can we say about the service, simply incredible I highly recommend!

The burgers are really excellent and I admit that we appreciated having the choice of side dishes: different types of fries including sweet potato fries. With a Burger + fries I can tell you that you won't be hungry at all afterwards. However, the burgers are served without accompaniment which makes their price a little expensive (around 24 chf per burger). The staff members are pleasant and friendly.

Discovered yesterday during our walk in Geneva. Top burger restaurant!!! Very well received and very helpful staff, there were 6 of us and they managed to find us a place in the basement room, despite the busy time. Very well decorated room with another beer counter. Great discovery, we were well received, all the staff are friendly. Everything was very good, we had burger, salad, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, calamari, tenders and also very generous.

The food is great, had a chicken burger or more a fried chicken, fantastic food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff were really kind, will come back again. The milkshake are so good that it fills your stomach very fast.

We visited Black Tap with high expectations for their burgers, which were good but fell slightly short of our anticipation. The ambiance is quite cool, with hip hop music adding to the vibe. Service was fast, likely because the place was not very crowded during our visit. While the prices are on the higher side, it's understandable given the location in Geneva.

We went there to have a milshake. They are good and beautiful! My children loved it. For my part, I appreciated being able to choose a milshake with vegetable milk!

Frankly a colossal disaster on all fronts, the service truly pitiful, the cuisine shameful, the bread was very soft, the cheese raw and cold, the old fries served at room temperature, two sandwiches and a still water 60 chf, first and last time , I totally advise against it, at Smoked we eat better for much less 🙌🏻, P.s I know what I'm talking about (6 years of professional cooking) really disappointed.

Nice restaurant. Good burger, a bit busy usually, but staff are nice and friendly. I had to pick takeaway as there weren’t any available seats, but it was weekend.

Since discovering this brand in New York 10 years ago, we have had the opportunity to test others in Dubai or Geneva. The Burgers and especially the Signature Milkshakes are super good and worth the detour. See you soon.

After living in Geneva for quite some time we only learned about the place through friends although it deserved to much more exposure. It was hard to order at first as the waiter’s attention was so hard to get but after ordering the food took a moderate amount of time to come out, ordering another course or drinks was as hard as the first initial order though. The selection of burgers we ordered was diverse and included The all american burger The old fashioned And the crispy chicken burger. The entire order was perfect, juicy, tasty and up to the best of expectations including the 2 plates of fries that were trenched in cheese sauce. The vanilla milkshake was a good choice although the chocolate milkshake looked way better

We stumbled across this place on our trip round Geneva last week. I'm always apprehensive trying new food places, especially abroad as English speakers, but we were welcomed in with wide smiles and polite staff. The set up of the restaurant was nice, diner-like with (quite loud) pop music playing. Felt comfortable there. The menu was good, the food cooked well with fast service. Staff were patient despite the small language barrier- we even had to go back an hour later after forgetting something there and were all smiles to help us get our property back. Paid 53.50 CHF for 1 burger, large fries, cookie shake and ginger beer including 10% service. Would highly recommend to any travelers wanting something more familiar to them.

Always a good place. Black tap is a bit pricey but the quality is there. Tried the burger the first time then went back to try the Wings and the rest of the menu. It's all amazing.

Unfortunately on Wednesday evening the restaurant only serves take-out from 9:00 p.m. so I was not able to eat there… However, I was well received. Too bad it wasn't specified before I went there.

The restaurant is always full. They don't take reservations and the service is extremely slow. But the burgers and all the desserts are fantastic. The burgers are really good. The shakes are perfect to share with someone. There are too many people and the tables are a little too close together.

Me and my friend ordered a vegetarian option of the burgers and they were absolutely delicious. However, we felt a bit uncomfortable after some comments of the waiter who served us when we decided to split the bill, he was giving too much of his opinion. Also, we saw him biting his nails behind the counter. Not professional at all. Besides that, great atmosphere and great food!

Good evening. First of all, it's very positive that you're replying to the reviews. That's showing that you really care about your business. To answer your question, why I came up with this review and, in general, with only 3 stars is about the following reasons: Food: I ordered a medium-well burger, and it came even more as well done. I could say that it was burned on one side. Probably, this has to do with the service also. Service: The person that took the order it was nice, and he was trying but without to speak English, even a little was very difficult. Just to mention that I speak German, English, and a little French. And to the end: Atmosphere: Nice Atmosphere, American style. I like it but could be better. Doesn't give me the filling to put 5 stars. But this is not something that you can expect that everyone will like. Because everyone has his taste. I hope you appreciate my message and not thinking that i am not doing it because of some bad purpose. For sure I would like to try it again.

Food is ok but it took almost an hour from sitting down to getting food - this was a fairly quiet lunchtime. Gave us the fries free so bumped up a star, but they need to get the basics right before being cool etc.

We got the burguers 1hour after we ordered them. To be honest, one could go to the McDonalds in front to get basically same quality food but much faster. The place wasn’t crowded when we arrived, it was just they forgot our order. Worst service ever!

Portions are expensive and not generous, small burger and small bowl of french fries. The burger is hard to hold in hands and eat, everything slips out and it does not taste that good or high quality. Compared to the last burger place I went to: zooburger, where you get burger and fries for the price of a single burger at Black Tap, I was not that impressed by the deal.

Worst service ever! The waiter was very rude to us and used too much rude hand gestures. This kind or service and attitude is not acceptable from someone who works in a restaurant. The food is also really not the best! Better restaurants are around. Never going back again.

We arrived at the restaurant. The manager told us we would get the next table and gave it to the people who would follow us. He said he couldn't keep up but it was his job. Terrible service, I waited 1 hour to get a table and I waited a while to get the menus as well. The service is terrible, I have never seen this in my life.

Nice burger restaurant, quite a few varieties, interesting for fans of the gigantic, with well-stocked burgers and endless milkshakes... It's a bit of an orgy, this excess of everything, but it's still good. Just a shame that on 3 occasions my dish was really too salty.

Premium price for an okay product. There are better gourmet burger options in Geneva and at a lower cost. The location is convenient though and they have a range of draught beers.

A very good discovery with quality service!

I waited a day before writing this cool-headed review. I visited Black Tap for the first time yesterday. I order takeout and the young girl taking my order mutters something quite quickly that I don't understand. I kindly asked her what she had just said, she replied in a mocking tone asking me if I spoke French. I told him that I was French. It's really a shame to have these types of people being rude at the beginning of their career and the lack of training necessary to know how to behave with customers. For vegetarians who love hamburgers, Black Tap's vegetarian hamburger is among the worst I've eaten in Geneva!

We consumed their famous Frappés in this place, nothing to say they are excellent, enormous and extremely good. Excellent ingredients and beautiful compositions of the milkshake. The environment is also very beautiful and modern.

Had the chicken wings - 10 - was well presented and tasty. Waitress was lovely and helpful. Had a MONACO beer 🍻 which was awesome. As always, price is ABIT high but it's Geneva and the food was good. 13sf for the wings and 10sf for each beer. Total 33sf. Deffo worth a visit and taste.

Usually this restaurant is good, but as you can see in the photo- the most disappointing weedy burger, yet the highest prices for black tap worldwide. 1 hour long wait time for a table!!

Placing people is good, not forgetting them at the counter without taking care of them is less so. Once at the table, waiting 20 minutes for your order to be taken is a long time. Forced to ask for a jug of water. There are 7 of us at the table and we are only brought 6 napkins and spoons. Victims of their success, the waiters and waitresses speak to you curtly and are hired more for their looks than for their skills! I think that the notion of respect for the customer has left these places…. Too bad, their milkshakes are good.

We came the other evening with friends and we wanted to eat ice cream on the terrace. But after 20 minutes no one came to serve us so we went back to ask and we were told that you don't do terrace service, ok. So we wanted to choose ice creams and we were told that such ice creams are no longer on the menu and that large ice creams are not for outside. So I think you probably don't need new customers or advertisements. But the least we can do is respect. Because your employees are lacking a little too much.

Staff very rude, dark featured man with tattoos was a toilet & has a chip on his shoulder.

Too bad they don't want to serve us at 10:15 p.m. So that another colleague would say yes to us, so that in the end we could only have a milkshake. And while we are paying for our takeaway milkshakes, we see 2 tables being served with other desserts. Not cool and not professional at all

Very good burger restaurant. This time, we came for snack time, and tried the Crazy shakes. As their name suggests, they are really crazy. Very good, decadent, but really too much for one person. Next time we'll take one for 3 people (at least ;-)), even if it means recommending it!

Trendy hip burger restaurant with crazy shakes, a favorite of the kids. The burgers were not that juicy, even though asked for a medium cook, buns were cold and not crusty from the outside. Delicious truffle fries, as well as their cheesy fries. Not the first visit, and would still come back! The home made ice tea is also good, todays flavor was raspberry.

The waiting time was unexpectedly long (20 minutes before the arrival of the food) which may be improved. However, the food was exceptionally good! The burger bun was very soft, the thick burger was perfectly cooked. What's more, the salad was outstandingly fresh with young leaves. If the staff could be more smiling (and the waiting time shortened), it would be overall a 20/10 experience :)

Was at Geneva Black Tap, I loved the chicken options, wings with the Texan sauce were to die for, and the tenders were delicious as well! Honestly though I was a little disappointed in crazy shakes, almost half of it was just whipped cream with chocolate chips, it was not bad but a little too sweet for me, maybe mixing the whipped cream with the milkshake would make it better? It’s on the expensive side, but hey, it’s in the center of Geneva, which from the get go means that it won’t be cheap. Either way, it’s worth it’s price and I’ll definitely come back even if just for the chicken wings!

Terrace next to 2-wheel parking, practical but it doesn't smell very good. The dishes offered are specialized, no normal dishes. Efficient service, little waiting.

I do not recommend this overrated restaurant at all. The food quality was extremely poor and not worth the high prices. The meat, chicken, and bread were dry, rubbery, and tasted stale. The flavors were dull and cooking subpar. For the expensive prices, the ingredients should be high quality and dishes well-executed. My meal was mediocre at best. There are much better dining options in the area. I was completely unsatisfied and this restaurant is not worth revisiting.

Loved the atmosphere, the service, and the food. Everything was great, I especially loved the texan burger and fries with the onion and cheese.

We showed up at the Geneva black tap without a reservation (great idea :) but we were able to wait at the bar before getting a table! The bar man (Leandre I think) served us a very good cocktail and made us salivate while explaining the burgers and milkshakes to us! Superb introduction which was completely verified once at the table! A beautiful, young and dynamic place and above all delicious burgers! Try the broccoli as a side dish! Too good!

Although the service is fast, the servers very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant, the menu card is not clear. Out of regret, I ordered a new IPA shrimp cocktail snack at the price of 18 CHF. 18 CHF for some gelatinous and tasteless "raw" shrimp that were chasing each other, on ice, no sauce or seasoning apart from three sauces, two, which were similar to sweet and sour or ketchup, and another liquid which according to the server was an IPA beer sauce that tasted more like soap than beer. I am extremely disappointed that the details of this dish were not specified on the menu, having been disappointed, I would not try any more new dishes because in my opinion it is not worth it. Damage. I would still like to thank the team who were very pleasant and efficient.
