Ordered the chicken burger. It was okay. The fries were okay as well but they come as extras so you have to pay for it. The price was 24 CHF. Maybe this is normal Swiss price.

3 stars only because of the price. €97 for 4 fairly simple burgers, 2 fries and 2 salads + 4 drinks. The burgers are ok but nothing more.

Best burger I’ve had in a while, service was perfect!

We were a big group, staff was friendly and managed the group perfectly, which is not an easy thing to do. I had a bacon cheese burger which I liked. They have IPA beer which I appreciate. Update: compared to other non-smash burgers in Geneva, this is one of the best for sure.

During our visit, super long wait for a burger to bring it, no information on the wait given before ordering to be able to decide if we order or not, no more beyond meat burger so the only thing available other than the meat was the cheese, the friendliness of the staff was not given to all the employees. It was Friday evening so we understand that there was too much demand, but it would be important that the restaurant could be better organized and prepared to accommodate a large number of people.

Special mention to the employee who opened when they had no cook on Escalade Saturday. He made the burgers super quickly and delicious. Just disappointed that they no longer make portobello and that they are going to change everything.

Ordered a Swiss cheese & bacon burger and a fries to take away this evening, and drank a draft IPA at the bar while waiting, in 4 minutes I had my order, with a smile, and the draft was perfect... after 30 minutes the packet and the freshness allowed me to reheat everything in the oven and it remained excellent. I am glad.

Excellent burguers, I would dare say the best in Geneva. The meat is really excellent. I would just dare to criticize the price/size ratio. And they have cold tea from Migros, the best!!!

Honestly i can say that best in town. They staff were really welcoming. Burger and fries were really amazing. When you consider taste/price in Geneve, i really suggest The Hamburger Foundation.

Order via Uber eats, half of the order is missing, like a full bag, the burgers are good but incomplete and exchange, bacon in a cheese burger But no bacon in a bacon burger…. Sorry to the waitress, it wasn't your fault but you still suck...

Amazing value food, great staff and clean all round

The hamburger arrived too raw, I reported it to the staff and they were kind enough to do it again. The new sandwich wasn't bad, average. The floor was sticky. We were able to customize the sandwiches without any problems and removed what we didn't want.

Amazing burger meat is really good . However , I preferred the old management as the portions were more generous and more personal . Now it feels as if I became a chain with no character. Still good meat but not the best burger in town like it used to be . I hope they stopped using plastic cutlery-what a waste .

We bought burgers, the beef wasnt tasting that good. We would like the burgers to be larger because they are not value for money. The prices are a bit higher than the average. On the good side, sweet potatoes were very good!

Just went in for the click and collect, was compensated for the two green salads that I paid for but were out of stock, when I came home sweet potato fries were missing. Bummer. No phone number. Ordered in bc I was tired. Now even more tired.

Very good restaurant located in a quiet street, very central. Very good value for money and wonderful customer service. Highly recommended to eat a good hamburger and several options to customize it to your taste.

One of the best burgers in town

We went to this place as it’s hard to find a place to eat on Sundays. We thought that a burger restaurant would be a nice and easy option to take away and eat on the lake coast. I do not recommend this place. We paid 75€ for two burgers and two sides, we waited 45min and they forgot one side ! I would understand this situation if the restaurant had been full, but it was not the case. Clearly not a good place to go.

This is an average burger joint. Even for Geneva it is quite expensive as they do not offer any menus (so burger and fries/salad are sold separately, as well as drinks). My cheeseburger didn't taste good as the lettuce was bitter. Fries were good but it is very hard to make fries that taste bad. In my 3 years living in Switzerland, it was the first time I am handed the payment terminal with a tipping screen (tipping is not mandatory nor common here except in specific circumstances). Waitress didn't say anything so I just put 0; but my friend mistook it by the machine asking for the PIN number - which we deleted on time. Nothing happened but this to say asking for tips is not common and would have been nice to get a heads up or an actual good service (beyond handing food) before asking for a tip.

The restaurant is delicious for lovers of beef burgers. The burgers are always double, so if you want a double, you do not need to order because it comes as a double.

I have never had such slow and bad service. We say hello to the waitress, it’s as if we’re insulting her. Waitress as disrespectful as possible. We ask her what beer she has (we don't have a menu) and in the middle of the question she leaves. 10 minutes later she finally comes back to take the order. We will never know what we ordered. 10 minutes later, we finally have our cake and our beer (there are only two other customers). Not a thank you, not a look, she just doesn't give us the command. I advise against. It’s expensive, it’s pretentious, it’s a hassle when there’s no merit to it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Good quality burger, ready quickly

Delicious food and exceptional service at THE. I would get a well-done the next time. Staff went above and beyond by providing a table cover for us to pray. Enjoyed engaging chats with friendly staff. Highly recommended!

“Homemade” lemonade = pulco + water. Sour, disgusting, a scam. Everything but house... Frozen fries, very salty. Poor service.

I like the staff welcoming, the tables wasn’t clean. We tried the cheeseburger one normal and the other was gluten free. The meat tasted below average, but the gluten free bread was good. We had green salad and French fries both tasted ok

They sure do make one tasty burger! Friendly staff, cute location, and our food was ready pretty quickly. What more could you want?

Monitor your accounts when you are told that card payments are not going through. June 12, 8 p.m. when leaving, we were made to repeat our payment by card 7 times because “contactless did not work”. The seventh time with another card it works. The next day, June 13, I had the unpleasant surprise to see that 7 payments had been made. Or an overpayment of chf435 (6*chf72.5). Ouch. I called M3 hospitality to complain and get a refund. The hostess redirects me to the restaurant and tells me that it is the restaurant that must reimburse me directly. So here I am again this June 13th at 1 p.m. in Pâquis. I meet the friendly manager who tells me he can't reimburse me then does his research and offers me 2 coffees. Then I was made to wait for the accountant and then a director. I am kindly made to wait until an email is sent in my presence to the payment provider (Worldline) apparently responsible. Everyone was friendly but I am still waiting for a response and especially my refund. For the moment I have lost 3 hours in addition to CHF435. Mixed results. To be continued. June 14: PROBLEM FIXED I was refunded chf435 Thanks to Pierrick the director and Quentin the manager for their help following this unpleasant experience. *** Apart from that, this restaurant has become very expensive for what it is. We feel the cost reduction strategy at work since the change of ownership. The burger comes without fries (to pay on the side). The bun is cold and very basic. The fries (although fresh) aren't what they used to be either. Very little choice of drinks. The decoration has disappeared. For the most basic menu possible you need to count on almost chf30... (Go and see at Holycow what you get for chf30) The staff does what they can. Not bad but clearly the magic of the beginning of THF has disappeared. General advice. Think about the product, the customer, the overall experience, and not just the margin otherwise I predict a very near end for your brand.

If you are in the mood for a good burger, this is your place. They are good at what they do!

Great burgers. The restaurant is self service.

On the downward slope. At first everything was perfectly good. Then, once they gave me an undercooked brownie and when I sent a message to let them know, they told me that's how it was and too bad for me. I'm sorry, but uncooked it's not cooked it's not edible and I threw it in the trash. Today, 20 minutes before closing they announced that they were out of burgers. Before leaving home I was placing an order online and fortunately I didn't finalize it because I would have found myself with nothing when I arrived. Too bad, but there are plenty of competitors in Geneva.

Nice re-discovery of this famous Burger address. After being disappointed in the past, I enjoyed returning there to enjoy a good gourmet burger just right. The homemade desserts are excellent (cheese cake a real delight). All served with a smile and on the terrace (very quiet in the heart of Geneva...a plus).

The burgers are good, but overpriced compared to other places in Geneva. The order taking is deplorable, no concentration on the client, with subsequent mistakes. Atmosphere is basic - so overall nothing that could justify a higher price tag.

I went to this place after being recommended a burger restaurant near Konabang (accommodation) by a local. Good for ham mac. We sat at a table inside with a view of the burger grill. The smell of the patty being cooked was good, and when I took a bite, the quality of the patty was good.

Awesome place! Came here 3 years prior and return trip didn’t disappoint - basterd burger with bacon, fries (best in world), salad, and Bordeaux - about 40CHF - very inexpensive. Highly recommend - very friendly staff.

This a nice burger joint tucked in an alley. The first time I had their burger was 5 years ago. It was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. Very cool to see them again maintaining their level of excellence. I'm getting a burger at this place every time I drop a visit to Geneva.

Pretty good. But ordered two burgers that were basically raw inside. First burger was raw inside so ordered a replacement. Also rare and cold very quickly. So for the money spent it wasn’t great.

What a waste of what this brand has become It was the best address in Geneva for a good hamburger. A real restaurant. It has become a fast food restaurant lower than McDonald's. Order and payment on arrival, no more plate, no more fork or knife. As I had a salad, I was given a plastic fork. The sandwich is wrapped in two papers. Ecological stupidity. Such a waste. I won't set foot there again.

Too much disappointment... “It was better before”. Poor welcome, you have to queue at the bar to order. The waitress barely listened to us, made 2 mistakes in the order and therefore in the kitchen. There is a poster for 15% off if you have tickets for the Théâtre du Léman except that they put it at the back of the restaurant so that you can't see it. Food served on a plastic tray in simple paper... and all this for 74 francs! (2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 soft drinks). Fortunately, the burger remains good but I have the impression that it is less worked than before...

Mediocre and expeditious service, we learned afterwards that by going to the theater next door (which is our case) we had a 15% reduction which was refused to us once we found out. Good burger but we won't come back...

This new approach cheapen the brand/ name of the place. Order at the bar, pay before you consume, no plate provided, flies flying around the table, and make sure to clean your own table before departure. Service with a smile ? Come again. The food was ok but pretty disappointed with the overall experience. And it wasn’t cheap. Not coming back.

Horribly expensive for poor quality. To use the right words: a culinary and especially economic humiliation: Paying 55CHF for two burgers (very thin despite 3 “steaks”) and two portions of questionable fries is not possible. (Note: the “cheesy fries” potion costs 10 CHF, it’s not worth it either, they give you a very small layer of cheese already used up from the first fries) Go on your way, poor fools! :O

DO NOT ORDER TAKEAWAY! Of the 5 or 6 times I have ordered from them, they have messed up the order at least 4 times, either forgetting, mixing up or ruining food. Worst of all, there is no way to contact them in case of a problem as their phone is just an automated line. Photo below is charred sweet potato fries. I must say the burgers are still good, but just not worth the trouble anymore.

I am sorry to inform you that no more founder burger there. It used to be one of my best burger ( name is founder burger), unfortunately they stop cooking founder burger and the quality decreased. Still good enough.

This place that I loved so much has changed a lot. Now it's bar service, the meat is not good, the fries are no longer homemade and the desserts are just previously sent from I don't know where and reheated whereas before they were homemade. The value for money is no longer there, for example I paid 50CHF for 2 small burgers, 1 bottle of water and a portion of fries! All this to say that this is unacceptable! Time to go to a Burger King!!

It’s a shame that there is no longer table service, that’s lacking. However, there are enough staff. In terms of quality, we remain at a good level as before.

The food was good but ridiculously expensive. 5 burger meals and 5 drinks and it cost over £160. Very expensive fast food and no actual service. We had to order from the table via the app and collect the food ourselves. Not good value for money. Sorry.

And what's more it's self service and you have to ask for cutlery, employees not super professional active ... At this price I do not clear out and tip I leave it included in the basic bill. I won't go back there again.

Despite the previously stated tomato allergy, the burger was served with tomato. The service was very annoyed when we pointed this out to them. The burger was replaced but the fries were cold and had to be bought again.
