Funky Monkey Room in Genève

The setting is very pretty and the staff are pleasant. I just find it a shame that we received our starter (nachos) and our main courses (sushi burger and fries) at the same time. Otherwise we had a good time. THANKS.

Family discovery. A bit of a "dead" atmosphere on Saturday lunchtime but the service is top notch, the innovative burgers and the cocktails are truly killer. In short, it's all good and that includes the desserts too with a fondant that made my wife melt ;)

We ordered takeaway with the very attractive 2 for 1 burger offer. The burgers are good, however the fries were inedible. There is a strong smell of fried fish, is it fried in the same oil as squid or breaded fish? Given the taste and smell, the oil is not very clean... In addition, three quarters of the fries were gray inside. I've never seen that... We preferred not to risk eating them... So we'll avoid going back there!

Vegan choice available and the food was good and plentiful

I had heard a lot about it, good things in fact, after a very satisfying visit, both the burgers, the decor, without forgetting the top servers, always on the lookout not leaving the customer waiting, a big positive point for this place. Special thanks to young Méyline 😉. And at Rossini 🤤🤤

The waiter is attentive, we arrived at 9:30 p.m. and he agreed to serve us knowing that the kitchen closed at 9:45 p.m. Specify the size of the hamburger when ordering otherwise we consider that you are taking a medium and some of the group were still hungry. Damage !

1 star but I could give 0. The service was a disaster, waitresses who don't hide their bad mood and who don't smile. In terms of meal, it was not possible, the goat cheese was not fresh and the meat was still cold. I don't recommend it, it's (very) expensive for what it is.

Being American, I really wanted to like this place. I'm always on the lookout for a good burger place in town. To sum up: The food was OK (at best) and service was the rudest we've ever experienced in 15 years of living in Geneva.

The burger was good but lacked seasoning, flavor...the sweet potato fries very good. A strong smell of baby diapers emanated from the kitchens behind us which was very unpleasant. Perhaps a technical problem but that spoiled the pleasure of eating. Fortunately, the cheesecake was really good (too bad for the service in plastic packaging which will end up in the trash).

? Are you really accessible and adapted (toilet ♿️ and ranpe) with a step of almost 10cm at the entrance?

The restaurant has dropped a lot in quality, I've been here several times but the other day I had an XL BBQ cheese chicken burger. - breaded chicken much too dry. - NON-EXISTENT cheese (there was absolutely no cheese). - the rest nothing special... A burger for 28.-, 29.- chf is too expensive and not good.

So, I went last night to eat a burguer “Kaïs burguer” to be exact, and a few hours later I had food poisoning… Jsp what he knows happened but it really made me feel bad...

A place that seems interesting at first but very quickly we are struck by the exorbitant prices, a waiter on drugs who doesn't even hide, a dictatorship with the impossibility of choosing dessert even though we are given a menu to choose from. A cuisine that absolutely does not justify the price. Very average past your path, not very frequentable place.

I've been going there for 3 years, the burgers are always good and the waiters/waitresses are always pleasant, it's a pleasure!

The fry oil was not great. The vegan burger on the other hand and the bread was very good.

Excellent place to eat tasty burgers with a variety of different ingredients. The potatoes with cheese and truffle oil were a standout. Also the dessert, FMR meringue. The place is very well decorated. We went at noon on a Sunday, there weren't that many people, they served us quickly and well.

Terrifying welcome, as soon as I arrived I wanted to leave. The waitresses were particularly rude.

I had the opportunity to dine at the Funky Monkey Room restaurant in Geneva last night and was absolutely delighted. The welcome, food, service and attention to detail were all excellent. In addition to the excellent cuisine, the restaurant was kind enough to prepare a surprise cake for someone celebrating their 16th birthday. This thoughtful gesture really made a difference and made our evening even more special. We booked with The fork which allowed us to have less 50% on burgers (drinks not included). The restaurant was not very busy because it was Monday but it was pleasant because it was quite quiet. At the weekend it seems to me that there is a DJ set and therefore a more festive atmosphere which can be nice too. The service was good with fast, friendly and efficient servers. The burgers were very good but for my part the Rossini was really not very big so I strongly recommend having fries with it. The fries were also very good. The only downside is really the price because for young people overall it's very high compared to other burger brands of the same type. I won't go back in 50% but it was still very good and we had a good time. We didn't have dessert but my friend who had already been there told me that they were very good too.

Fresh products, everything is homemade, generous portions. I highly recommend, a delight 😋

I came to eat a month ago, super good, I had never eaten a burger this good, the homemade sauce is incredible, but today I ate at takeaway and they gave me vegetarian burgers. how do you explain my disappointment it's quite expensive so we can't afford to eat there every day and I was too disappointed because it's not good at all vegetarian otherwise the great service a little long but it's not a crazy thing the waiters very nice respectful nothing to say about that the poatetos for the price it's not crazy either I hope to come back and that it's not wrong ps 😝

Good products and good atmosphere

Excellent dish, homemade, expensive but reasonable price for Geneva. Great service despite the crowds and a friendly waitress. The only downside is the condition of the toilets which was not great. For the rest beautiful decor

Food is good and prices are decent. Atmosphere is... unique. The music can be a big too loud. Update: We went there on a Sunday afternoon. After some point we ended up being the only customers in the restaurant. I ordered a beyond meat burger with which I was disappointed but I can not put it in the restaurant because maybe this is how it's supposed to taste. What I didn't like is that I ordered fries with cheddar and they felt mushy like they were reheated. In an empty kitchen I would expect more special service.

Flee quickly from this place: expensive, poor service, confusing and poorly frequented. Everything is done so that you never return to this place in your life

So frankly this evening was lamentable. We chose the place for the atmosphere and the African culture evening but what a regret! With all the cool places in Geneva, no one will take me there again! This is the last time for us. The table service was also terrible, more than 40 minutes for our drinks to be served. The food is expensive for poor quality. Staff friendly enough but clearly overwhelmed. And to further dampen the mood we were treated to a Kizomba class which lasted forever! A torture even for me who loves Kizomba! Clearly the place is not suitable for such initiatives! FMR must review its organization. Conclusion evening: CATA

Sometimes good but often average or even bad, the burgers are not recommendable. The chimichuri burger should be taken off the menu in all honesty. (Orders uber eats). Modification: in reality the chimichuri burgers that I received, in addition to being poorly prepared, did not have the caramelized onions supposed to be garnished.

The restaurant was half an hour late for our reservation. I asked for a drink while we waited at the bar, they didn't want it. They offered us shots once installed, that was nice. The waitress placed cutlery at the end of the table. We had to pass them by ourselves (see photo) I asked for my meat medium rare, it was a chewable tire. In short, we will probably never come back again

Ugh… cold and unsalted fries that call home… staff not very friendly… the toilets were in a catastrophic state, clogged, electric cables were hanging… almost 130 chf for two. Enough of the madness. I will not come back !

unfortunately, I ordered burgers from your restaurant through the smood service and I was frankly disappointed because the burgers were not cooked, the fries were limp and 30 minutes late on delivery time but despite that the burgers were good had taste but maybe retest. The prices were a little too high for my taste but hey there are the basics😉

Not very good and bad service. I ordered cheddar, bacon and egg pancakes (brunch menu). Instead of the fried egg I ask if it is possible to replace it with a scrambled egg and I am told yes. I am served last at the table and the egg arrives… fried. I remind you that I asked for a scrambled egg and they bring my dish back to the kitchen. After 5 minutes the waiter comes back... the "chef" just scraped off the yolk and served the white alone... Hello presentation and service. The whole table explains that I asked for a scrambled egg and the waiter seemed to have nothing to do with it, I was hungry so I took the plate and put the kind of egg aside . The pancakes were average and the cheddar slices weren't even melted, just placed as is between the pancakes... I would also like to point out that the restaurant was not full (4 tables max) so they were not overbooked in the kitchen either. I do not recommend and will not return.

Hello I am an Uber Eats delivery person Thank you for your kindness to all the waiters and the boss....one of the only places in Geneva that humanly respects the delivery people, I was even offered on several occasions a drink of canned fruit juice and a glass of water while waiting for the order, we see that the boss is human and the waiters too, 1000 thanks to you
