The pancakes are an absolute dream 😍 I ate at Bloomell with my 3 children and the atmosphere and the children's play corner helped ensure that our stay at Bloomell will be remembered very fondly. We will definitely come back.

When looking for vegan "lunch" I not only found what I was looking for, but above all became happy :) Both the hummus with the warm flatbread and the pancake with apple sauce are highly recommended. Pancakes are super fluffy, it's a shame that there are no vegan chocolate alternatives (yet? 😉).

Place to be for Breakfast in Olten 🤩

While all the other customers were getting their food, I waited 45 minutes for my order. Other customers came later and got their orders earlier and some had the same order as me. I then asked if my order had been forgotten and you said no. Then after 10 minutes I got my order. The pancakes had so much chocolate and very little banana. As if I had bitten into sugar. I lost my appetite after that.

All in all it was a good visit... but... I probably won't eat at Bloomel again. Since not everyone at the table ordered their food promptly, the last person at the table only got their breakfast when the rest of us were finished...that was a shame. I think the prices are quite high considering that all drinks come extra. I actually don't know that coffee isn't included in the brunch price. After 2 hours it's definitely over and you have to clear the table... I can understand it, there aren't many seats so you give them away as often as possible... overall it was very loud... I don't like that that much... if you... It's hard to have a conversation at the table because the ambient noise is quite high...since the restaurant itself cooks and fried, unfortunately all the clothes smell like the kitchen...it's just peanuts, of course...but for me there are reasons not to go there again. The coffee was great. Many people can't make good coffee...Bloomel can! The staff was always very nice and in a good mood!

The ordering system is super easy, and the service is also incredibly friendly and uncomplicated. The food was prepared very quickly and was extremely tasty.

Basically delicious. Maybe it was the stress of Sunday or something else, but the food took a really long time and only came sporadically and not for everyone at the same time. My granola bowl was forgotten. Well, we were given fresh juices as an apology. “Chefs” work without gloves and take the pancakes in their hands, which I personally don’t find very tasty. I also think the prices for Olten are significantly too high. You also pay extra for plant-based milk... a flat white 5.80 CHF

Basically a great shop for brunch, the pancakes are very good 👍 but there is a clear minus point for the preparation of the bacon, it was served completely burnt, which is an absolute disgrace for me. See photo. I like bacon that's well fried, but it's burnt. It's a shame that the staff didn't notice something like this while serving.

A short trip to Bloomell is worth it. Super fluffy pancakes, sweetly decorated for the kids. Delicious scrambled eggs and the staff were great. It was cool at the bar if you like watching it being served. It's cheerfully decorated from the entrance to the toilet... We ordered food over the phone, which I really liked because I like to take my time when choosing. We'd love to come back.

Yummy Yummy Yummy! The only negative is that you have to sign up for a 2 hour shift for brunch. That's stressful and a shame if you want to sit/chat a little longer.

It was the first and unfortunately the last time we ate at Bloomell. The service was super friendly, the food was on the table quickly despite the high number of visitors and tasted good too. Unfortunately, after eating, we discovered that a young employee (who had served the pancakes without gloves) kept wiping the sweat from her forehead and upper lip with the same hand without washing her hands before serving the plates again had. A NO GO! She also chopped up biscuits with the same hand. We probably won't visit the Bloomell again after this incident.

The food is soo good, everything was freshly prepared, i never have to wait long and they are ALWAYS very very friendly to me. I even go there alone and it‘s always a pleasure. Sometimes it‘s a bit loud but that‘s because it‘s one big room everything else is really nice!

The Bloomell Coffeehouse is very popular and well-known among the regional community. On weekends you should definitely make a reservation if you want to be sure of a place. The digital ordering system is very intuitive and user-friendly. The waiting time is very short even with high occupancy. The quality of the food and drinks is very high and justifies the prices. The selection is large but very balanced and coordinated. There is something for every taste. An ideal place also for larger groups. The atmosphere is very warm and familiar. When there is a lot of occupancy, the noise level is a bit high and the open kitchen means it sometimes has a strong smell of fried bacon, which can be a bit unpleasant for vegetarians. However, very friendly staff. We go for brunch regularly and can highly recommend the place.

Best place to trade! Huge selection and great ambience

After reading the great reviews here, my partner and I decided to have breakfast there on a beautifully sunny Sunday morning. We ordered using the unique QR code on our table. My "English style" breakfast arrived about eight minutes later. There was lots of bacon but it was quite dry. Also, some some unknown reason, they garnished it with radish and a sprig of herbs. I think that some baked beans would have helped me swallow it easier. I finished my breakfast (after drinking copious amounts of coffee to wash it down) and finally, after a twenty minute delay, my partner's US style pancakes arrived. Her experience was in direct contrast to mine and she absolutely loved them. Summary. "English breakfast" good portions but replace the salad stuff with baked beans to add a bit of moisture to the meal. A twenty minute wait for my partner is unacceptable. I will probably return but only to see if the English breakfast improves.

All in all great! We've been coming back for years👍🏻 If there's a big rush, you may have to wait a short while for what you've ordered. But that doesn't bother me at all because all the products are delicious, fresh, lovingly prepared and served by very friendly staff. Tip top!👏🏻

I've been there twice during the week and it was great. The food came quickly and the service is friendly. I recommend the pancakes 100% The order and immediate payment is done via a QR code - I find it very practical. When making the reservation, I also stated that I was coming to work and they reserved a table for me near a power outlet and a little further away from the children's corner. These little touches don't go unnoticed!

The ambience is very nice. The food was good, but not good enough for the price. The fruit bowl was tasteless, the orange jus 3dl for 6.90 wasn't even freshly squeezed. The service was OK, but when we were clearing away we didn't even ask if everything was good. For this price I just expect more.

I've been to Bloomell a few times. After I said last time that it was the last time I was here because the service wasn't good at all, I gave it another chance today. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed! I reserved 2 weeks in advance and wrote down in the comments that the guest I was bringing had his 40th birthday that day. We arrived and saw 2 tables decorated with chocolate hearts, but unfortunately there wasn't one for us. We were assigned another table. I made a comment to the staff and was told that they had forgotten this and handed me old, white-opened chocolate hearts and said I could decorate them myself! Sorry, but if I write this in advance when making the reservation, I expect a little attention to the birthday child! Maybe decorating the table, or a glass of toast or “just” happy birthday from the staff would have been enough! After all, the food isn't cheap, so you might expect something like that! A pity!!

Very nice restaurant. Very fine food. We had everything we ordered served quickly. We were there on a Monday. We simply didn't know which Latte Machiato was made with lactose-free milk and which wasn't.

Unfortunately, I agree with my predecessors. Forgot things when ordering and have to keep asking. That was incredible. The waitress also didn't speak any German. That was really the absolute height. I was so disappointed with this service.. rarely seen something so chaotic.

Waiting 55 minutes for an order is too long. The food is still not on the table. We're never coming back. Sorry! When the pancakes finally came (they were good) only 3 were served and my husband had to wait another 10 minutes for the 4th. Three of four plates were broken. The edges were chipped. It would also be recommended to replace the drinking glasses. These are milky and worn out. With such high prices where you want to order and pay for everything with your cell phone, you can really expect more. I would have liked to have written a better review.

Unfortunately I have to give this coffeehouse 2 stars. The ambience and the concept are really well thought out, but the implementation still needs to be worked on. The food is simply distributed to the various tables at random and not in the ordered package but individually, so that not even the employees know what you have brought or not brought. I asked about my pancakes 3 times and about our friend's meat platter twice. The bacon was partly burnt and partly soggy and soaked in fat. At least the employees were understanding and I got my money back for the missing pancakes.

Their pancakes were very delicious and you could tell that they were freshly made. Their hot chocolate and coffee were very nice as well. The fried eggs tasted good too. The waitresses were friendly. all in all a good breakfast experience.

I went to Bloomell for the first time for my birthday. The table was lovingly decorated with chocolate hearts. The location looks very bright and modern thanks to the glass facade, it is cozy and furnished with attention to detail and great importance is placed on cleanliness. A QR code led us to the order card with a very large selection for our brunch. We were able to help ourselves (à la discretion) at a counter with bread and croissants, and there was also a large selection of jams. The fresh bread, pancakes, coffee and homemade drinks were very tasty, we were all very enthusiastic and can only recommend it! <3

Our first brunch with you today: All bread products are super fresh. Pancakes fluffy and delicious, jam great, scrambled eggs well seasoned. Service friendly, ordering process a bit complicated. We sat there for 4 hours and tried almost everything 😅 Conclusion: We ate well and had a great day. I deducted one star because the chairs are bad for people with poor health. And because the latte macchiato was cold. I said so, got a new one that was cold again. The prices are too high for that...

An insider tip from Olten for all connoisseurs and brunch lovers among us! It's even open on Sundays! Very family-friendly coffeehouse (with a play area for children and children's menus). Everyone is welcome here! The food is fresh and delicious, always made with a lot of love. From breakfast/brunch to the daily changing lunch menus. There is always something delicious for vegans/vegetarians too! The price-performance ratio is fully consistent with the quality, the kitchen and service team are very friendly, quick and always concerned about the well-being of their customers. Highly recommended!

The food here is really good, I came here because I was visiting some people I knew in the local area. This is also the only restaurant in the immediate area. The service is friendly, you can order via your cell phone, cool. However, there was also a cappuccino from a previous guest on the bill. The money was refunded to me, but it still wasn't supposed to happen. But otherwise there's nothing to complain about :-)

Nice restaurant, well suited for children (play area and spacious). It would actually be good, price/performance leaves question marks. Bloomell Basic Zmorge - a discretion, but only bread products, butter, jam and honey (that's it!) - Bloomell Daily Brunch costs 29.-... again bread as much as you want, small (!) punch (which is very tasty is) and an omelette. A discretion, yes... but it's only really worth it if you like to eat a LOT of bread products. For me that's not true.

In my opinion the prices are a bit too high. Although the ingredients are fresh and regional, the end product did not always meet expectations. The atmosphere is super cozy and the ordering process is very advanced.

Offer & food really top! Definitely worth a visit. But if you want a personal atmosphere, this is probably the wrong place for you. The concept is designed to ensure that as many processes as possible are digitalized. This doesn't bother me.

Ladies brunch. Our table was at the toilet entrance. Although the toilet is clean and separated by a small anteroom, it still bothered us that people kept walking past us. I found the prices a bit high since we had to enter the order ourselves using a QR scan. I didn't find the selection optimal, one excluded the other (meat platter), and I personally missed the salmon, tomatoes and cucumbers. The fruit was tasteless. Melons are not seasonal fruits, this could be adjusted seasonally. The table could be cleared more quickly to make some space. A big negative point is the ventilation, which seems to be missing or too weak. It was very stuffy and the fried food was in the air. The location is simple and nice and there is enough parking space. Overall it was good, but wouldn't visit the place again anytime soon.

The food is awesome. It's just a shame that the process is no longer as personal and friendly as it used to be and you have to leave the table within a deadline.

I live 2min away from Bloomell so I am a regular visitor ☺️ The concept is great. You can order your food through a QR code and pay, so no need to wait for the service during a busy day. You can even make your on mimosa! The brunch menu is great, however it’s not consistent. Depending on the chef, the dishes look and taste differently but the qualitiy is always good. Only minus: They do not serve the best coffee but I had worse so still worth the 4 starts.

The food and quality of the products are very good. Unfortunately, we rarely feel welcome. Unfortunately, we hadn't made a reservation the last few times (always on Saturdays), we arrived and the Bloomell Coffeehouse didn't even have half of the tables occupied. It was immediately said, "Ah, not reserved, we don't have anything free anymore. The free tables are reserved for later." Later usually meant in an hour or later. We didn't want to stay for two hours, maximum 45 minutes. You could clearly see the reservation times on the tables :) Well then we just left and won't be coming back any time soon.

At a brunch costing 32 francs per person, charging for coffee separately is a questionable pricing policy. The brunch is actually good, unfortunately the price is out of proportion. In the cities of Lucerne, Bern and Zurich the price/performance ratio is better and the location is much nicer.

Warm and personal! Recommend taking a seat at the bar and interacting with the kitchen crew. The friendliness of the employees is always a highlight. Love it! Thank you for the hospitality.

Nice atmosphere inside this cafe near Olten Hammer train station. Service could be a bit slow and messy during rush hour but staff seems attentive and friendly. Nice offers on the card including, a few brunch options around CHF 27 to 32 and all you can eat bread options at CHF 9.

Super delicious breakfast! Everything fresh and well prepared! Orders must be made via mobile phone. The older generation has a bit of trouble with this. There should be another variant that you could order “old fashioned”. Otherwise everything is great.

The food was hearty and also good. What wasn't so great was that the tables were already labeled with the time of the next reservation. This made me feel a bit stressed.

I was there yesterday. The atmosphere and facilities were very pleasant and rustic. .which was very cool. It was very child-friendly and many mothers met there. What is very rare in Switzerland is that it is child-friendly. The pancakes were amazing. We had win Wakey breakfast...a fried egg was very good, unfortunately the bacon was fried a little too hard and the chai got cold very quickly. Therefore 1 star deducted. Otherwise I would recommend EA to every mother. It was interesting to see that the mothers were there until 11.30 and then suddenly from 12 noon there were men for lunch.

It was reserved for 26 people - celebration for 65th birthday - we waited for the tables for almost 3/4 hours, then we had to leave again after 1.5 hours because the table was reserved again! The buffet only serves bread and croissants with butter and jam. On the table there was 1 medium bowl of bircher muesli for 6 people each, a plate with 2 types of cold cuts (meat loaf and smoked), 3 types of cheese, out of 15 cheese pieces there were 9 pepper cheeses, which were left on each plate because only 5% of humanity likes it bites on peppercorns. Service came to the tables twice to order coffee. There were no glasses larger than 1dl anywhere, unless you specifically asked the waiter. Bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes: 1 medium dessert bowl each for 6 people. However, you were allowed to reorder in the hope that it would be served in time before the next customers. There are 2 chefs, 2 people serving the entire restaurant (approx. 60 people) and 1 baristas. Less is more does NOT apply here to SERVICE, COMFORT AND SPACE (queuing for the bread buffet was just in the first row, queuing took almost 10 minutes. Better go to the Hotel Arte in Olten for a Sunday break. You won't be thrown out until the end of the break, you can eat whatever you like and as much as you want, drink out of normal glasses, and you can get your own coffee at the bar. Everything is available at the buffet, no waiting for service, even though they still ask for drinks. You pay for 3 hours of brunch there, of your choice fr. 49.00 and you can keep your place until the end 😊 Bloomell = 1x AND NEVER AGAIN - none of us will ever go there again. And we don't recommend it to anyone.

Definitely an insider tip in Olten. A hip, chic little coffee with the best pancakes, everything regional and fresh, worth the wait. Ordering and payment quickly and modernly via mobile phone. Fine teas, milk alternatives and of course the classic Sunday brunch. Reservation recommended!

Basically a nice cafe. Very friendly service and ordering via the app is very modern. Unfortunately, I found the prices to be quite excessive for the size of the portions. In terms of taste, everything was okay, but nothing spectacular either. What isn't included in my rating, but should still be mentioned, is the location, which really isn't the nicest. All in all it was okay, but you shouldn't expect too much.
