A three like the price of the carafe of water.

We regularly eat at Boccalino when we are in Geneva on business. The waitress (Hervé) even speaks German and English. The food is excellent! The menu - in addition to the usual dishes that you would expect in an Italian restaurant - is seasonal and offers a lot of variety. Hervé advises guests very well, competently and friendly. I've often ordered something I'd never eaten before just because Hervé raved about how delicious it was. The Boccalino is really highly recommended.

Dropped in when it was getting late. Not overly busy,quickly seated and presented with the best olive oil and fresh bread that kept coming! Gorgeous paster dishes and service was spot on. Definitely be going back next time I'm working in Geneva.

Paid tap water (in addition to other drinks ordered) Edit: There were two of us, one drink each. We didn't ask for cold water, and a water jug ​​is filled with tap water, like in every other restaurant (to which you and Molino apparently make an exception). You will also learn that in Switzerland, tap water comes out fresh, no need to put it in the fridge, especially in winter. Very welcoming and available staff. Dish of the day at around 20 francs very accessible for the location. Paid parking spaces nearby. A la carte prices however a little high, up to almost 30 francs for a pizza.

The two of us spent 180 francs... Focaccia as a starter to share (very good pizza dough), lukewarm lamb, not bad venison. Wine and dijo. We pay the bill at 10 p.m. and the waiter tells us that they have closed the cash register! The two of us spent 180 francs and not even a free dijo! The first and last time! Go on your way!

An address that I discovered by chance in the Carouge district: pleasantly surprised by the hunting menu offered and the quality service provided by this waiter whose name escapes me, but whose professionalism and good humor will have marked the evening!

Decent food but beware the green salad scam and super cold customer service! Plat du jour 19.50 + 2 for a green salad advertised … charged 6.50 for the salad, because presumably we did not mention that we wanted a “small” one. Fair mistake for first timers. Plus we were never asked to disambiguate, small or regular. Asking for a compensation gesture, we got rejected with a stern look and acrid comments on our lack of attention to details. And shown the way out. Will never get back there again, and recommend you pick another option for your casual lunch.

About as Italian as garlic bread, domino's or Clint Eastwood. Seriously, anyone who's posted that the pasta is authentic or the pizza is great is honestly pretty clueless when it comes to such foods - I mean just the fact the "Carbonara" is made with cream and grana padano cheese should say it all to anyone who knows anything about Italian food. Seriously, the food is average at best, it's not that it's "bad" per se, perfectly edible yes, but it's not a cheap local quick eat, which is what it's food and decor suggests. I don't mind food which is merely "fine" if that's what I'm paying for. If the food cost 40-50% less I wouldn't actually have any issue at all, but they are charging premium prices for very average, not actually Italian food. Likewise don't advertise spicy pepperoni sausage - even have pictures of such thing on your menu (Inferno pizza) and then give bog standard large mildly paprika flavoured salami slices instead. I won't be returning by choice.

What a pity!! Spritz served in a large glass of water. Quite “diluted”. Prawn salad, ok. Carbonara pasta, very raw (not al dente) “Entrecôte” which had no bones. that is to say that it has not been steaked, served, cut (not well) And worst of all, (they probably forgot the plate in a corner of the kitchen) the meat was very, very cold. And I asked that they heat it, they did it in the microwave, because there were some pieces very hot and some very cold. Complete disappointment. We will not come back. I don't recommend.

Large terrace which unfortunately overlooks the Carouge rondeau and its traffic. But it's not a surprise and so if you ignore it you will have a pleasant time.

I do not recommend this pizzeria, the unfriendly staff does not listen to their customers. Indeed, on the QR-code card (because they no longer provide paper cards) it is indicated that the carafe of water will be charged if customers do not take a drink. However, my friend had a drink and I had a jug of water for both of us. What a surprise when I found it on the bill! I then called out to the waiter to tell him of my incomprehension, but despite my complaint and the confusing indication of the menu, the staff was not able to show understanding and indulgence and thus remove the carafe of water as a commercial gesture. Disappointed with this unworthy behavior of the restaurant, I would not set foot there again. Moreover, this mania for charging for tap water and extorting customers is unbearable.

This is a restaurant where apparently asking the waiter a question about the menu is not welcome. The waiter dared to tell us that we simply had to “read correctly”. Thanking you for this delicate advice, I advise anyone not to go to this establishment.

Never again! In my memories it was a nice and friendly restaurant, but that is no longer the case. We were received like unclean people; the waiter was extremely unpleasant and the food was as tasty as a dish to be reheated in the microwave. (The breaded veal escalopes looked very good and served in sufficient quantity in the photos and oh surprise when the dishes were received: 3 small pieces which were barely enough for a child..). Objectively, the only dish that was "good" was the pizza.

Rude staff. If you have the audacity to ask a question about a dish, the waiters will simply tell you to choose something else…

The dishes are OK (nothing exceptional, price in Geneva average = 24 CHF per pizza). On the other hand, the service is very limited... The waiter takes our plates before we have even finished. He asks us for our order then leaves. In short, not very friendly.

Excellent pizza (we had the Fradiavola and it was excellent (and I've had some not so good pizza in the neighborhood) Good, friendly, fast service (we had to get a bus but were able to fit in some nice ice cream before we left!) It was quiet when we went as they'd just opened but felt like a friendly, large space, accomodating of kids.
