Brasserie des Tours in Carouge (GE)

Certainly not the best Italian restaurant in Carouge, the terrace is friendly and the local customers are friendly too but the rest is not worth the tours..

The restaurant has changed a lot too and the new server is very fast. I will return there on my next visit to Geneva thank you Concerning the cuisine I can't give my opinion because unfortunately I didn't eat.

Nice little place if you just want to have a drink or eat a little something. The decor isn't amazing and the service slow but the food is good, the drinks good, the prices reasonable and the staff very friendly. Little extra: when the weather is nice, children can have fun in the square in front of the brewery without danger.

Always good for an aperitif. Good pizzas and not very expensive too!

The vegan burger is really disappointing and since it's the only vegan option, I won't be coming back. Beer is fine though selection very limited.

The BRASSERIE des TOURS TEAM is welcoming, helpful & very friendly. In the morning, coffee is CHF 2.00 until 11:00 a.m. and what's more, it's BETTER than in other establishments!!! And, it was served with SMILE & a glass of water. The “CREMA del NONNO” is worth the detour, at the BRASSERIE des TOURS. ARTISANAL BEERS are produced on site by Mirco, a true EXPERT & PASSIONATE.

We had reserved a table for 4 on a Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. and ordered food immediately. We were served at 8:45 p.m. while people who arrived after us were served before. One of the dishes, the tartare with fries, was served without the fries... they arrived 30 minutes later. One of the waiters was particularly rude and when we called him he would look at us and turn around. The food was good but the enjoyment was spoiled by the poor service that evening.

A generous pizza with a surprising surprise in terms of taste. I recommend going to have a good time with friends

This Sunday, February 19, I just wanted to have a drink on the terrace. Very bad reception from the waiter who didn't care about us. I ask him if he has this drink and he ignores my question and continues to list other drinks. Asked a second time and the seller ignored me again. Very bad attitude. It’s a shame because they also make craft beer themselves. Normally they should have more people if the reception was better!!

The pizzas are a little more expensive than the previous owner's but they are better. You have to taste them.

The excellent pizzas are back, and that's a real pleasure. This is also the case for other very good dishes and desserts. The service is efficient and friendly. Thanks to Meryem for her kindness and her eternal smile, she is sparkling. Really a very good address.

Good burgers, well served, and good beers too. A little disappointed, however, by the fact that only about half of the beers on the menu were available, and by the somewhat chaotic service. First the bad burgers that were served to us, then the good ones but with poor cooking. A beer half spilled on us. And finally they bring us coffees not ordered. Not forgetting the bill that we had to ask for several times.

I have lived in Tours de Carouge for over 15 years and I am absolutely won over by this change in management. Finally, a REAL brewery with a real concept. There are more than 30 craft beers, crafted products, homemade cuisine, in short the opportunity to enjoy great culinary and taste experiences. The new management has created a particularly pleasant atmosphere, combining a relaxed atmosphere and superior quality services at more than affordable prices. The staff is welcoming, warm and presents its impressive menu with great know-how. Particularly the waitress, Samantha, who demonstrates impeccable professionalism and efficiency, even when she is overwhelmed. His good humor and thoughtfulness are the guarantee for me of having an excellent evening after hard days of work. Whether for a drink or a meal with family/friends, I recommend the Open Baladin with your eyes closed

Known and appreciated place (being from Carouge) until last week at 5:30 p.m.! The friendly waitress moves you from the table because it is already reserved for eating the evening meal and the table is supposedly set (4 water glasses and 4 trivets). By kindly asking to still have a table in the shade with 2 children under a year old to drink a beer for 30 minutes before going home to bed. The young waitress reassures me by blurting out dryly: “We see that you are not in the restaurant business!” So I ask myself a question, she must not have gone to hotel school either by responding to a customer like that and hasn't gone to the school of life, either! Too bad for this place! This confirms the previous comments!

Stopped by to see the new replacement for BDT. Nice to see it is also a micro brewery. Large selection of beers, the Unfiltered Blonde was very delicious. Very cozy terrasse with quick service. Burgers were delicious (but buns were too crunchy for me)! Would definitely come back to try the focaccia! Very nice deals on takeout!

I am changing my rating because of new management. Pleasant welcome and very good focaccias.

What to say ? Positive point: the servers are smiling and kind. Negative point: apparently the directive is to encourage consumption. We order a 75cl beer for two at CHF 25.5, and we ask if we can have some chips and we are told no but that we can order foccacia which goes for CHF 17.- extra. We point out to the waiter that the table next to us has a very small bowl of chips, response "oh well? But they ordered a plate". Really anything. In short, the beer is not exceptional for the price and it reigns....we will not come back. Oh I forgot the menu we got didn't mention that there were cheaper draft beers.

Excellent atmosphere, reasonable prices, atypical but great products (the homemade cola, THE CIDRO SPRITZ a top! As well as all the sodas, you have to try and taste it's a positive adventure!) And I'm not talking about the beers, it 'It's incredible! Keep it up with this great atmosphere and this rare welcome in Geneva!

Finally it became a real brewery. Congratulations to the new manager.

A loyal BDT customer, I came in to admire the new brewery as well as the beer list on the blackboard and suddenly the bartender stares at me and packs me up, ordering me to go sit at my table. So I left directly without consuming anything. Very unpleasant and rude bartender. I won't come back again. I really miss the previous owner!

The new beer menu is great! On the other hand, you have to put the beer with ginger back on the menu :-)

Excellent food, one star less because they only offer craft drinks... No coca-cola, fanta, etc. for that, it’s a shame because I won’t be able to come back just to have a drink on the terrace for example. But besides that, the service is great and the delicious food is at a fair price!

New owner. Baladin We ate and were delighted, especially the meal. I recommend it to beer lovers (laarrggee choice). Even their biramitsu is a marvel.

Deplorable service for a reception after a funeral. Waitress not friendly and helpful and above all impertinent. Is it normal that it is the guests who have to serve the guests? With the number of elderly people not being able to travel?!!! And put bar chairs with elderly people saying that that’s how it is!! And worse, almost not a word of French, only Italian!!! But where are we going? Not a good ad anyway! He We miss the old boss

The meal was good but unfortunately expensive for what it was (octopus salad for 26.-) Unwelcoming service.

We often get takeaway pizzas there, great! On site, the ginger beer is a pure treat and the place is well suited for children, especially the terrace next to the fountains.

Service désagréable et ce n'est pas la première fois. Le lieu est génial pour les familles mais comme chaque nous sommes mal reçu et la cuisine n'est pas non plus fantastique !

Good value for money. Just their fries which are a scam... We pay as much for a portion of fries as for a pizza... It's a shame..

Beer and spritz Ok. Caesar salad not at all consistent. My friend had a beef tartare (canned) which he vomited up. Disappointed, what's more, we are told "we make Caesar salad our way" so don't put a salad composition on the menu that you don't serve. never seen a caesar salad with corn cocktail sauce, rucula and carrots hallelujah we had a piece of chicken😡🐔 fast service but still happy we were the only ones.

Je n’ai jamais mis une telle note mais vraiment nous avons vécu une expérience lunaire. Nous avons commandé une salade Caesar avec mon amie d’après la description de la carte (Salade romaine, poulet, sauce Caesar, croûtons, parmesan) , pour un dîner somme toute classique. On nous a servi quelque chose qui n’avait rien à voir: carottes, mais, poulet, sauce cocktail, roquette. Ça se mangeait mais le probleme est qu’ils ont changé de recette « à leur manière » dixit la serveuse mais que le prix lui est le même: 26.- !!! Nous avons été trop gentil et n’avons pas bataillé mais je vous déconseille fortement cet établissement qui ressemble pour moi à une machine à cash qui est la pour gagner de l’argent et pas pour faire apprécier la cuisine de brasserie... Je pense qu’il faut également faire attention à la viande car notre ami n’a pas finis son assiette car l’odeur était suspecte et qu’il est maintenant malade.

Belle terrasse pizzas correctes

Excellent restaurant servant de la nourriture fraîche et d'excellente qualité ! Petite carte qui varie en fonction des saisons et menu du jour variés à d'excellents prix! Cadre intime et moderne avec une petite terrasse entourée de bambou - splendide ! Ils ont leur boulangerie attachée qui assure aussi de très bonnes tartes! Tout est fait maison et rendu possible grâce au Foyer Handicap. Service impeccable et individuel. Je recommande vivement !
