Boccia in Gerlafingen

had a pizza Quattro Stagioni. Quite cheap at 21 CHF. The stone oven is in sight and the pizza was freshly prepared. Even though it went straight from the oven to the plate, it cooled down quite quickly. It was a bit of a shame that no fresh mushrooms were used, but rather fresh from the can. The pizza itself was good, but could have used some spices, salt and pepper. The base layer was quite bland. Staff very friendly, nice atmosphere.

Wonderful Italian restaurant 😍 We ordered wonderful pasta dishes. The request to spontaneously order a pizza with vegetables to take away was also kindly accepted and lovingly prepared by the pizzaiolo.

We had a cold Italian antipasti buffet for a family event which was spectacular. Authentic Italian and absolutely delicious. I didn't anything from the menu but I can only imagine how good it must be.

The pizza is hard on the top and far from being cooked on the bottom. The restaurant 18°, stiff nipple temperature, very unpleasant. Waited 35 minutes to eat. It's a shame, great approach and the contents of the pizza would also be ok. if you could get the rest done.

One of the best Italian restaurants ever! The best food, especially the Spaghetti Grüenau! The boss lives for his business and is always very friendly and accommodating. The premises are extremely clean and very nice!

We were there with five people. Three pizzas, two meat dishes plus dessert. The Pizza Funghi had a burnt edge and base, dried herbs were only scattered in spots on the pizza and the mushrooms were unfortunately from a can, the Pizza Napoli was well baked and a change by omitting and adding an ingredient was even taken into account at no extra charge , the margarita was underbaked but offered the best price-performance ratio. If you look at the pictures here on Google, you can see how much the baking times of the individual pizzas vary. The meat dishes were satisfactory. The dessert of tiramisu and ice cream with coffee was quite good, but not very nicely presented. Depending on the dish, the rating varies between one and three stars. Personally, I wouldn't go there again for a nice evening.

Stopped by spontaneously and immediately fell in love. Spent a weekend in Italy two weeks before the meal and didn't eat as well there as at Boccia. Friendly service, good wine and top food at reasonable prices. The seafood in particular stands out.

The best pizza around, and wonderful and fresh seafood. Very nice service. Really authentic, you feel like you're in Italy. There is a small deduction for the guest room - rather dark and not very lovingly furnished. But overall a tip.

We have definitely been to this restaurant over 50 times now. I can recommend it without reservations! The pizza is simply awesome. I was astonished to read the negative reports contained here. To date, nothing like this has ever happened to us...but here too, "only" people are at work and mistakes can happen. My recommendation, try again. Maybe you'll change your mind. Today we are planning another pizza evening. Parents & kids are looking forward to it.

We had made a reservation by phone for 9:15 p.m. When we arrived there at 9:10 p.m., the boss came to us at the entrance and "greeted" us with a slightly annoyed: "The kitchen closes in 10 minutes" When I looked astonished, he replied that this was normal and that this was the case everywhere. Our problem wasn't that the kitchen was about to close, but rather that you accepted a reservation even though you already knew that the kitchen would close at that time. It's understandable that the kitchen closes early in some places, which is why we called and made a reservation. If we had been told this on the phone, we would have chosen a different restaurant. I have enjoyed visiting this restaurant so far, but from now on I will avoid it.

Excellent cuisine and good fish in Switzerland Even if the sea is distant

Dining with 40 people Unfortunately, the room temperature in the large hall was very cool. All guests present felt this way. The heating was only switched on when we arrived. However, this was not enough to heat up such a large room despite being there for around 6 hours. All the guests had to spend the meal and the very long waiting times between the individual courses shaking. The waiters were very attentive. The starter (various Italian specialties) was plentiful and tasted very good. In the main course (mock and veal roast, mushroom sauce, fried potatoes and carrots) the meat was tasty but unfortunately too dry. The mushroom sauce for the frying had enough flavor but not enough. No more were submitted. The vegetables were okay but not particularly prepared. Tip to the owners of the restaurant: there was no hot water in the toilets in the basement during our stay. And since the room temperature there was even lower than in the hall, it was not comfortable for anyone to use the toilet.

Wir sind durch TripAdvisor auf dieses Restaurant gestossen, als wir am Ostermontag von Südfrankreich zurück nach Zürich unterwegs waren. Als Vorspeise Bruschetta, als Hauptgang Pizza - beides war ausgezeichnet! Kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen, Preis/Leistung ist wirklich top!

Boccia has been my favorite pizzeria since I was a child. It's a real treat to eat a pizza there. I have often had one provided and I was able to pick it up in 10 minutes. I am always greeted warmly as if I had been there 100 times. My favorite pizzeria far and wide. It's just a shame that I can't eat outside as much. :-)

Erstes Abendessen im Boccia war für uns enttäuschend. Die Pizzen waren nicht gut, der Teig war leider in der Mitte noch viel zu weich und auch der Rand nicht knusprig, schade Sie haben so gut ausgesehen. Geschmacklich war die Pizza mit scharfer Salami nicht schlecht, aber die Prosciutto hatte viel zu wenig Schinken und auch die Tomatensauce hat keinen Geschmack. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist leider nicht gerechtfertigt (Standard Pizzen 19.80) Der Service war aber wirklich sehr freundlich.

Sono stato in Svizzera per lavoro come Chef e sono davvero pochi i ristoranti che tengono alto il nome della nostra amata cucina; Ristorante Boccia è uno di questi.Consigliato da un amico del posto, Antonio, abbiamo cenato qui una sera di Settembre.Abbiamo preso brushette e insalata come antipasto(così si usa qui) e una linguina con pesto, noci e pecorino davvero squisito; pasta cotta al momento( un miraggio qui in Svizzera), al dente al punto giusto e un sapore spettacolare; dispone anche di un forno a legno per le pizze.Il proprietario Alfonso, di origine napoletane come me è una bella persona, molto colto, intelligente ed è un vero artista.Prima di ritornare in Italia, lo andai a salutare e da buon "terrone" come me mi offri una birra.Ritonerò!!!

Wir sind auf Grund der Tripadvisor-Bewertung spontan im Boccia essen gegangen und waren durchaus positiv überrascht. Die Pasta sind super lecher und frisch zubereitet. Der Chef & das Servicepersonal sind sehr nett.

Das Essen ist optimal und die Pizza ist geschmacklich wie von der Backzeit ausgezeichnet. Das Ambiente ist römisch und sehr schön. Die Tischverteilung könnte etwas verbessert werden aber sonst ist alles gut. P.S. Gut haben sie das Personal (Kellner) gewechselt. Es gab ein Kellner der war schlicht und einfach zu schlecht. Kein Wunder arbeitet er nicht mehr dort.

Wir werden immer herzlich willkommen geheissen. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und die Zutaten sind sehr frisch. Aufenthalt hier ist wie Ferien.

Die Einrichtung wirkt zwar ein wenig kühl aber das Essen ist ziemlich gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Hab dort nichts vermisst. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Das Ristorante Boccia hat neben dem sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Chef auch tolles Personal. Man fühlt sich wie in den Ferien. Die Pizzen sind sensationell! Die Pastas und auch mein Lieblingsmenü, Kalbsschnitzel an Limonensauce, ist einfach perfekt.
