Waited an hour despite having a reservation and arriving on time. Not this year.

Excellent Italian cuisine in a typical Italian atmosphere. Very friendly service. Courteous and competent. The food was very good. I ate rigatoni with salsiccia and eggplant. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was heavenly. Highly recommended. Gladly again soon. Luciano

Too many guests, too expensive for the menus

The two of us were in the Centro yesterday. After an hour and 10 minutes we asked if you had forgotten our food in the kitchen. The very nice service specialist made an effort. Wow the food is coming, I ordered penne and got spaghetti i. I waited for my penne again. It's a shame that I can't understand why you have to wait 1 hour and a quarter for a pasta dish when the restaurant is half full. Productivity in the kitchen, well. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend it.

Warm welcome. The menu was explained in a friendly manner on a board by the service staff. We like the delicious food, which is good and freshly cooked. Fans of Italian cuisine will get their money's worth here.

Wir waren in den letzten 4 Wochen 2 x dort und beide Male von der Qualität der Speisen begeistert. Beim erstem Mal hatten wir auch Getränke auf der Rechnung die wir nicht konsumiert hatten, haben es aber erst später bemerkt, daher selber schuld. Lokaliät könnte etwas ruhiger sein und gemütlicher - trotzdem alles in allem sehr gut!!

Das Essen im Centro ist immer wieder sehr gut. Seit einigen Wochen fällt eine ausgezeichnete Küche auf, welche Pasta mit einem Gusto von Sorrento anbietet. Das Ambiente ist angenehm wie auch unterhaltsam.

We haven't been to the centro for a while. We were really looking forward to the spagetti cozze. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. The spaghetti sauce was bland, the cozze had no garlic and very little sauce and cozze. I gave feedback to the staff and the answer was: "I'll tell the kitchen." It's a shame we'll be avoiding the Centro in the near future

Fine Italian food with great service!!

Wir hörten, dass man hier gut Essen kann. Das total veraltete, unpersönliche kantinenambiente versprach nichts Gutes. Gut besuchtes Restaurant, jedoch zu lärmig, unromantisch, erinnert eher an Skilager. Für ein Italolokal , erhält man Pizza nur am Sonntag.Sehr langes warten auf Getränke von ungelehrtem Personal und noch die Hälfte nie gebracht aber verrechnet.Wartezeit auf die Vorspeise und gleichzeitiger Übergabe der Teigwaren von über 1 verstrichner Stunde, eine Zumutung! Lieblos und altmodisch serviert und scharf war es auch nicht. Mussten Käse und scharfes Öl noch separat bestellen, der Servicekraft ist es nicht in den Sinn gekommen. Tiramisu war ok, leider wurde während unserem Dessert und Kaffee (21.15) die Stühle hochgestellt und wir kamen uns völlig fehl am Platz vor. Gemütliches Verweilen wie bei Nonna sieht anders aus!

Der Besitzer ist besonders freundlich und alle Getränke kommen schnell an den Tisch. Die Speisen aus der Küche haben wenig mimt italienischer Küche zu tun, die Antipasti ersticken im Knoblauch, die Pasta ist zu Tode gekocht und erinnert mehr an ein Kinderessen als an ein Restaurant. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen ist es sehr günstig, im Vergleich aber auch um vieles schlechter - jedes Tankstellensandwich schmeckt besser.

Wir sind alle paar Wochen über Mittag hier und geniessen einen qualitativ hochstehenden und vom Preis her fairen Business-Lunch. Meistens finden wir unter den drei Tagesmenues und dem Wochenhit etwas Passendes. Ansonsten kannman auch "à la carte" bestellen. Ein Salat gehört bei den Menues in der Regel dazu. Nicht erschrecken: Hier holt man sich das Getränk selber und sagt am Schluss, was man getrunken hat! Sehr zu empfehlen wegen schnellem Service, fairen Preisen und sehr feinem Essen

Top Ristorante with super fine food and friendly service!

Wir gingen am Samstag dort essen und waren total positiv überascht worden. Essen, Wein, Dessert einfach genial und günstig. Dann auch wenn das Restaurant einer Baracke ähnelt und von draussen nicht aussieht wie ein Gastrobetrieb, darf man sagen alles einfach aber top. Sehr netter, herzlicher Service. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Freundliches Gastroteam. Bravo! Dieser Italiener wird immer Erfolg haben. Geheimtip! Zugegeben das erste Mal sucht man ein wenig. Einfach gegenüber Schwimmbad Gerlafingen auf der anderen Strassenseite ins Gewerbequartier. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren nach einem Weihnachtsmarkt da und waren sehr überrascht. Der Service zuvorkommend, die Speisen (hauptsächluch Pasta) ausgezeichnet und dies zu extrem günstigen Preise. Das Ambiente gleicht einbisschen einem Clubhaus eines Fussballclubs. Sehr einfach gehalten aber genau das mag ich. Man ist super aufgehoben und ein Besuch lohnt sich

Se siete nati qui sarà un buonissimo ristorante italiano ma se venite dall'Italia non si può considerare nemmeno tale.Il proprietario ha una linea di lavoro che in Italia, prevederebbe la chiusura in 10 minuti:pasta precotta, uso della farina per amalgamare i piatti, passata di pomodoro nelle cozze, pasta non amalgamata ma solo il sugo sopra, pizza biscottata, uso della panna da per tutto, uovo liquido e ancora altro ma mi fermo qui.D'altronde il proprietario è molto presuntuoso, da evitare!!!

Ich besuche dieses Restaurant seit Jahren. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und preiswert. Typisch italienisch, auch die Atmosphäre und das Personal stimmen.

Das Centro Italiano ist ein Ort der etwas abgelegen in der gewerbezone von Gerlafingen liegt. Aber die Menüs können sich sehen lassen und der Preis ist top. Die pastas sind all dente und der Service sehr freundlich und schnell.Ich kann das Centro nur empfehlen. Es ist im Umkreis von Solothurn der mit Abstand beste Italiener!!!Grazie e buon Appetito

Einfache, preiswerte Küche Italiens. Eben ein Centro, ohne viel Schick Schnack aber mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung und frischen Zutaten in der Küche.

Feines und günstiges Essen im Barackenfeeling. Immer aufgestellte Studenten als Bedienung. Für Touristen nicht zu empfehlen, da abseits vom ÖV.

Good Italian cuisine, friendly staff

Wir haben spät abends (Do. nach 21h15) noch etwas zu Essen bekommen. Von der Karte konnten wir unsere Wünsche für einen Zweigänger frei komponieren und zum Abschluss - richtig italienisch - gab's auch den Limoncello offeriert. Das alles in sympatisch, rousticalem Ambiente und zu einem sehr vernünfigen Preis.

Ich finde das Centro ganz fantastisch. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und es werden stets grosse Portionen serviert. Das Essen ist lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet, eben wie bei der Nonna. Kann das Centro wärmstens empfehlen

Im Centro ist es immer wieder schön. Das ambiente und Essen ist immer wieder ein vergnügen. Die Preise sind Freundlich und die Portionen immer gross. Die Auswahl der Karte ist super. Da ist für jedermann etwas dabei.

Am Samstagabend gibt es immer ein 3-gängiges Spezialmenu aus der italienischen Küche. Dieses Menu ist preislich interessant und schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung ist immer sehr nett. Mittags bezieht man die Getränke an der Theke und bezahlt dann auch sein Essen dort. Wer ein nicht alltägliches italienisches Restaurant sucht, ist hier richtig.
