Boulangerie Bessa in Renens (VD)

Christmas order not there on Christmas day. Great ! No dessert this year. The person accepted my order and it was on the 24th when I arrived to collect it that I was told they were no longer placing orders. They could have at least sent my order elsewhere but no. Act as if nothing happened. Unimaginably incompetent and unserious. Customer service is very disappointing.

It is now the restaurant on Place du Marché en Renens. For those who like festive and noisy places, this is the ideal place. Breakfasts mix with lunches in an excellent mix. We arrived around 11:45 am for lunch, sat down and patiently waited 20 minutes. It's quite unpleasant that breakfasts last almost until noon along with lunches. Other customers arrived well after us and were immediately served for lunch. Amidst the confusion and lack of organization, we got up and left. Unfortunately, it must be a restaurant that I should never return to again.

The coffee service is nice and the bakery service is good and the pastry service is also good and reliable for birthday parties and baptisms and other celebrations they are punctual and competent in the orders that have been made. I recommend Bessa

Really bad pastries (notably one of the worst croissants I have ever eaten), but above all unpleasant service as possible, waitresses who do not respond to hellos or goodbyes, no form of politeness, and stare customers as if they were disturbing.

I am very disappointed in my memory Bessa was much better… when I opened the sandwich to see what was inside I had never seen one so empty no sauce no tomato nothing it was dry … And also very disappointed at the entrance to notice that an employee was completely slumped on the entrance steps smoking, it gives a bad image for this employee and for Bessa

The staff is very friendly and warm unlike Bessa at Rue Central in Lausanne (I had a bad experience with two saleswomen)

For fans of loud reggaeton and tasteless coffee. The staff is unfriendly and haughty.

Consider changing the schedule on Google.. Driving 20km for it to be closed isn't crazy.

I came in the morning to order a pain au chocolat and a cappuccino, the cup was very dirty all around. The tables too. Hygiene needs to be reviewed very strongly without forgetting that the waitress with the glasses is very haughty and unfriendly to the max. Too bad we can't give 0 stars. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone.

You have to love their bakery which clogs the stomach... personally, I can't digest them

A very arrogant employee when dealing with customers and the presentation of the window is not appealing, service is a little slow when there is no movement to justify it.

I don't find everything good. Staff not great, not friendly plus the pastries next to the WC. It's really a shame. I prefer the Bessa in Lausanne, Rt.de Chavannes, it's really great and friendly staff, sorry

I'm giving you 1 star, because I can't give you 0... terrible place, to avoid, no respect. Sitting on the terrace, no one came to serve us... what's the point of having a terrace (especially with dirty tables)? Anyway, so I'm going to get our orders (well, it took 5 minutes before someone noticed me despite my hellos)... But hey, fortunately I'm not in a wheelchair like this gentleman who was at the next table and no one came to serve even if they knocked on the window (since there is a step and therefore not accessible). No respect. In short, when it's time to pay... still no news from a waiter, again I move and, as I enter, the 2 waitresses are on their phones. So I ask if someone can come and collect our order... no reaction, both still on their phones. I put the money on the counter and left (however, when I heard coins, one reacted). Not even a thank you or a goodbye.

The employees do not speak French, communitarianism reigns supreme in this place, always very dirty at the entrance. I've been there twice but never again.

Haughty and uncompetent staff, constant currency calculation errors, and low quality products. An establishment in no way representative of Portuguese quality. Honestly to avoid.

Today, April 3, 2022, I had a bad experience at this boulangerie, I was sitting at the table with my family waiting to be served, then another family comes and sits in front of us, the guy who was serving us goes to greet these people straight away. and they immediately accepted their request. I had to speak to them so they could come and accept my request. After waiting 20 minutes the order arrives but for the table of the people who arrived after us and for us nothing!!! So I called the boy and said that this procedure wasn't fair, I decided to leave with my family and go somewhere else.

Horrible service! The waiters are unfriendly, they ignore customers for an eternity before coming to the table to take their orders, and the service is truly appalling! I don't recommend it to anyone. At first I thought maybe it was because they had a lot of work, but then when I went back there the other day it was exactly the same thing. I won't go back there again nor would I advise anyone to go there.

Horrible coffee, too liquid, tasteless, tasteless. We feel unwanted there, cold waitresses say "Goodbye, have a good day" when leaving and we continue to be ignored. Maybe you should speak Portuguese? Dirty, uncleaned, wet outdoor tables. I hope I never have to set foot there again.
