Ukiyo Restaurant - Ramen & Udon in Renens (VD)

Ordered on Uber eats never received my food waited over 2 hours and didn’t answer any of my calls

Failing to deliver 2 noodle dishes in over 2 hours, pitiful. It’s already the third time… I think I’ve learned my lesson

Firstly there is no seating as mentioned, it is only a kitchen. Then, everything is reheated in the microwave, there is nothing fresh, the chicken in the ramen was old, it's a shame to serve that! I hope I don't get poisoned after this ramen...

As UKIYO website mentioned that ‘faite maison’ , found that all of the stocks are buying, the concentrate stocks can easily get from F**D*X and UCH****I , the packet inside only noodles , sprouts, half egg, Charsiu and spring onions, the take away price is higher than the pioneer DINE IN Restaurant Ramen S****Z** Lausanne, more ingredients served like bamboo shoots, mushrooms etc…

Got muso ramen for delivery. Tastes of some old mouldy fungi stuff. Absolutely disgusting, directly to the bin

It was truly quite an experience. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere... a little hidden but it's very quiet. Perfect for a date or an unplanned outing to discover very good food. It's worth it, congratulations!

The location is well hidden and fortunately for the head chef, she is alone to do everything, even to take an order. And I can tell you that she is not idle. There is no menu card you can hold in your hands, you have to look at the posters stuck to the walls. So you have to read all the letters to repeat the dish in order to order. It's more take-out, but it's possible with a small place a few meters away. The dish I had was not bad in itself, nothing extraordinary. For the price, it's questionable especially if it's takeaway. Do I recommend it to you? Well, if you're in a hurry, no. As I said, the leader is alone on the ground, even if she had an extra pair of arms, it wouldn't go any faster. If you want to be served like in a restaurant, no, there are just a few small tables outside the size of a small balcony. If it's to change a little from the restaurants you already know, then yes, to try.

Ordered through Uber eats and never received the order, when I first called they told me the order is on its way and that it might take longer than expected since they deliver order by batches. Fast forward an hour and a half later, no order received and the restaurant is not responding any of the calls

Fabulous dish of Udon noodles. Felt truly authentic and truly homemade. There are a few hidden gems like that in Renens. It's a must try. Japanese cuisine is so much more than sushis.

Being a big fan of Japanese food… I recommend this delicious restaurant based in Renens and Geneva to discover, among other things, their delicious ramen, I have rarely tasted something so good! For my 3rd visit with them I would like to highlight the staff who are impeccable. I would come back!
