Had a lunch break here. Two small sandwiches and a salad. Plus delicious fresh pastries from the bakery.

The cakes taste even better than they look. The hot chocolate is very fine. You get a cup of hot milk and a small cup of melted chocolate. So you can mix it yourself. The service was friendly and we were served quickly.

I've been paying attention to the hygiene of this place for a long time. Today I've had enough. - no gloves, no pliers - the person who serves also takes care of the payments, she manages the money and the bread at the same time without gloves or pliers - the same person licks their fingers before taking the food cones and with the same hand they then take the croissants to put them in the cones. 3 years of pandemic have taught some people nothing... this lack of hygiene is disgusting

We are thinking of entering a bakery. We have a loaf of bread. Oh great, it's hot, we love it, we eat a piece....and we discover a FROZEN bread! SHAME on you for serving frozen bread without warning!!! Better go to the Coop! Cheaper and same product!!!

Excellent service and super friendly staff l. Ordered an omelette which was just a little overcooked and the staff offered me a new one without even asking for it! Excellent experience would recommend it to everyone.

When I purchased a Too Good To Go basket at the Heiz Boulangerie-Chocolaterie, I was unfortunately greeted in a disappointing manner. The experience did not meet the expectations of a bakery of this caliber, revealing a lack of consideration by staff. This experience leaves a feeling of dissatisfaction with the welcome and the importance given to customers.

What was an institution between the 80s and 2000 is sinking deeper and deeper. The breads, apart perhaps from the bench top, are not worthy of an artisanal bakery. The semi-white and the braid do not even reach the quality of supermarket bread. The coffee is average, the sandwiches are the same as Villars in November. Damage

Very well received, warmly, well eaten, everything is there but...pay the price! 30 CHF for 2 non-alcoholic drinks, 2 ramekins, and 2 canapes... too bad

At the time an excellent address but in recent years the quality has no longer been there while prices have exploded. Too bad for Villars!

In more than fifty years of stays in Villars we have regretted for several years the decline in quality of products and their reduction in size while prices increase. And the unexpected closures?! Heiz was equivalent to Geneva pastries, too bad!!! From now on we cross the bridge!

Daily breakfast delivery during our stay in a chalet in Villars-sur-Ollon. Super punctual, very friendly, everything is freshly prepared, with delicious homemade ingredients. Strongly recommended.

We used the catering service for the aperitif dinner for our civil wedding in June. We also ordered a cake for around twenty guests. Mr. Heiz gave very good advice on the choice and description of the different dishes. The taste, freshness and originality were there. We really enjoyed it as did our guests. The passion fruit-raspberry cake was excellent. In addition, we received a very warm welcome at the bakery and the entire aperitif was delivered to the place where we received our guests. We recommend :)

The cakes are a dream. I can recommend it to everyone. Excellent bread and pastries, not industrial baked goods, but really homemade! The service is friendly and nice, the restaurant is very cozy. I'd love to come back.

Charming, welcoming and above all excellent pastry chefs, my experience with the bakery was really very good. I ordered custard puffs for my other half's birthday party, held together with chocolate and not caramel. Both the presentation and the pleasure of eating them were there: thank you again! and see you soon!

The best homemade bread but also the cakes

Excellent products and great availability and flexibility from Heiz. They perfectly responded to our request for the preparation of a birthday cake and bread for a birthday weekend for 50 people. Everything was delicious!

Friendly tea room with some yummy cakes and bakery.

Good products BUT the lady behind the counter handles money and bread without washing her hands or wearing gloves. That’s disgusting! Pretty expensive too but definitely not the main issue here.

Pleasant welcome and good pastries!

Unfortunately we have been to this bakery twice now and have to throw away what we bought and then take oxyboldine to avoid stomach pain. Pastries with tasteless and stuffy dough saturated with sugar to hide the poor quality. Croissants that look like those bought in bags at MIGROS. I almost never write negative reviews but this is too much especially since, who knows why, it's the only bakery and pastry in Villard!!!! It seems that the grades are good so the problem must come from me but I have the impression that you just have to go to the pastry shop in the neighboring village to notice a glaring difference. I really think that a good pastry chef/baker could make a fortune in this village where prices are high and the population is quite large.

The chocolate shortbread and lemon tart were acceptable. However, I was delighted to taste a “100% natural” smoothie as written on their sign. What was my surprise when I saw the saleswoman put some frozen vegetables, and fill them up with water and LIPTON ICE TEA?!!! I asked if this was normal. They tell me yes yes, a smoothie is like that. Okay... I might as well tell you that 16.- both are expensive for an unnatural and tasteless drink. We threw away both. Thank you for sticking to what we control and not ripping off consumers. The drink in the photo a few minutes after purchase....

I always went there as a kid in the seventies and eighties (tea room): tea, lunch, dinner dance, parties; good memories !

We tried three pastries and they were all better than the last. It feels fresh and homemade. In addition, the products are aesthetic and tempting! So excellent experience!

After this day of skiing, there's nothing better than delicious sandwiches, magnificent meat pies or even shortbread to die for! These delicacies, proven antidepressants, must be urgently reimbursed by basic insurance! To consume without moderation!

Excellent place to eat a croissant and enjoy the magnificent views

Rude service. Impatient. And I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. A CHF 20.- minimum applies when paying by debit card or TWINT. Those services do not charge the merchant and credit his account instantly. We’re in 2019 people not 1999. Such a lack of education and client friendly approach is not tolerable. Villars is an international hub, not some random ski resort stuck in the 90’s. However one can wonder when such experiences occur.

The girls behind the bakery counter are rude, impatient, or just seem to give off an unfriendly appeal. Food over priced, but it is nice. It's very cleaned, they don't allow dogs inside unlike the other restaurants nearby.

Absolutely recommended for a coffee break with a sublime view on the horizon. Thanks also to the staff who were very friendly.

Standard bakery cafe. Be careful, if you are just going to have a coffee and a little bring some cash. I was made to understand in a very unpleasant tone that there was a minimum to pay with the maestro card.

We discovered the Heiz bakery during the Practeo SA company's end-of-year aperitif. Everything was very beautiful and good.

We used the H. Heiz & Cie SA catering service for a professional event. Everything was super good and very well presented. We left with a little “chocolate” gift that was to die for! To recommend with eyes closed !
