It's expensive but it's chic and quality. The clientele is not friendly. Rich people in the mountains! But the restaurant is beautiful. Quality dishes and friendly staff. Would not change a thing .

Very good address. We ate there 5 times during our 23-24 ski vacation. Very warm welcome, efficient and friendly service and what can we say about the daily specials. Succulent and varied, truly amazed! To recommend without moderation.

Magnificent setting, top menu, impeccable, friendly service and top chef!

The place is amazing, in the middle of the slopes in winter, with a superb view. Cozy chalet with a large sun terrace. The staff is adorable while being very professional. The dishes are very well executed and fresh. Mention for the Golf burger, the butternut soup, and the trout/avocado tartare. We went there every day during our stay and were always made to feel very welcome, regardless of the server. And that's why we went there every day... Trifecta: location, staff and cuisine. Perfect.

The place is beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The food is very good and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Nice setting, but the cuisine is not tiptop this day. There were a lot of people, that's probably the reason. Really overcooked fries, average burger, and the blanquette was not very well prepared.

We booked 1 day in advance. When we arrived, the waiter and waitress couldn't find our reservation. We were still placed. The service was very good and the food too. A word of advice: INVEST IN AN IT SYSTEM (Ipad, tablet, etc.) to take your future reservations, it would be so cool for you and for us, the customers 😉

Incredible restaurant due to its location and the exceptional view the place enjoys. The service is both relaxed and ultra professional. The cuisine produced is full of flavors. We loved the place and the staff so much that we even celebrated our wedding here and everything was perfect! They are attentive and extremely professional.

After several visits to the former who were very happy, today the service and dishes are not up to the standard of a quality restaurant. We were very on it!!!!

Excellent service - we asked for a tartiflette without bacon for vegetarian and they made a tartiflette full of vegetables instead as a surprise, it was a very nice touch. Otherwise it's very expensive, minced veal was good but very small for the price. Beautiful view, I would return but only if a little hungry!

Very nice, superb and quiet setting

Nous sommes très satisfaites tout était très bon. Le personnel était fort sympathique (et beau). Le seul petit couac est qu’il n’y a pas de jambon dans leur paninis... Alors je sais tuer des petits cochons c’est pas bien tout ça tout ça mais bon, ça rajoute quand même un truc quoi. Juste du fromage c’est fade.

Dans un cadre magnifique, cette jeune équipe dynamique nous a accueilli avec énormément de sympathie pour un dîner vraiment délicieux, composé de produit locaux excellemment cuisinés! La carte des vins est, elle aussi, parfaitement sélectionnée.Nous reviendrons, c’est sûr!!!

Et bien, que dire... Un personnel accueillant et souriant, une terrasse plein soleil, une vue à couper le souffle et un plat excellent. Rien de mieux après une bonne marche ou un bon 18 trous ! Chapeau aux nouveaux proprios !

Nous avons combiné balade pour ma maman et moi, golf pour mon mari. Puis repas en commun dans ce merveilleux cadre.Accueil super sympathique mais très efficace. Avec ma maman nous sommes arrivées bien plus rapidement sur la terrasse ou nous a on consommé un café. Le personnel a mis les tables pour le midi, sans nous faire déguerpir ni stresser à partir, ce qui fut fort agréable. Une fois que mon mari nous a rejoint nous avons changé de table,m un vent frisquet étant arrivé nous avons décidé de manger dedans, là aussi aucuns signesd'agacement ni du personnel ni du patron. Lesrepas étaient très originauxet très bons. En résumé il y a longtemps que je n'ai pas trouvé un si bon équilibre entre cuisine et salle.Bravo les jeunes et bonne continuation

Clairement une nouvelle équipe. Une meilleure cuisine qu’avant. Bien que nous avons déjeuné avec des plats plutôt simple, hamburger frites, foie gras avec toast et feuilleté de chanderelles. Les toasts avec le très bon foie gras contenaient de noix et fruits. La feuilleté était délicieux, comme les hamburgers. Service aimable et efficace. Les prix raisonnables. Heureusement que nous retrouvions une bonne cuisine sur la plus belle terrasse de Villars.

Des jeunes motivés qui cuisinent vraiment.Plats très bons avec une carte (en fait une ardoise) concentrée mais maîtrisée. Très bon choix de vins à prix raisonnables.Accueil sympathique et décontracté. Une cuisine qui complète adéquatement l’offre déjà existante. A soutenir car ils le méritent.

La nouvelle gestion du restaurant depuis le 1 juillet 20 est d’un niveau supérieur avec une excellente cuisine et un service intentionné. Quel plaisir de déguster enfin une excellente cuisine sur cette si belle terrasse. Les prix ne sont plus surfaits comme avant. N’hésitez pas, cette adresse mérite le détour.On y reviendra sans retenue, bravo.

Le 1er juillet 2020, une nouvelle équipe a repris le restaurant du Golf de Villars. Après quelques saisons décevantes, j'ai tout de suite voulu tester la qualité de la table... et je n'ai pas été déçu ! Les plats étaient au rendez-vous et les prix tout à fait raisonnables. Comme plat, nous avons goûté le foie gras aux figues, le tartare d'avocat et de crabe et avons laissé de la place pour les desserts; tout était goûteux et bien présenté.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment. Bel accueil par un jeune couple. Environnement divin et repas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous avons hâte de pouvoir revenir.

Nous avons fait un arrêt au stand sur le chemin de l 'après - ski. Service parfait et prix modérés (aussi la Suisse pour un pauvre suédois)

Accueil chaleureux de la patronne et de la serveuse mais dommage que le patron porte une casquette vissée sur la tête.L’assiette était correcte, sans originalité et sans l’usage des excellents produits de la region. De plus le prix est assez élevé. La vue magnifique aurait-elle un prix?Avec une excellente cuisine cet endroit serait idéal.J’y reviendrai pour le magnifique parcours de golf.

Quality food and service but prices worthy of a Michelin star that make you dizzy

Over priced during ski season for such a basic food.

Was given a tiny piece of rib with literally no meat on it for 40 francs. When I tried to complain the staff tried to tell me it was fine. Was definitely the crapiest attempt at a meal I have seen in Switzerland. I almost never complain but this was terrible.

It's a shame that when you want to pay separately, you have to go and pay at the bar to a person who sighs because it's complicated and who is absolutely not friendly. Plus other little remarks that I will keep silent here. Friendly table service. Good and well presented meal. Exaggerated price.

Not what you would expect from a restaurant. We called the day before going and we are told that after 14h00 a reservation is not needed. We showed up at 14h00 and we got rejected in a quite rude way from the waitress. Luckily the nearby restaurant welcomed properly !

Very nice place and very good service. On the other hand, very very limited cuisine: black lasagna on top, reheated veal sausage, fairly small tartiflette.

Been here in first week of Nov in late evening by train and walked through snow towards restaurant! Felt Really remote in dark. Nevertheless, very nice place. Cheese fundoo was good , or ok, so as my Swiss friends told me. Enjoyed local wine.
