It's true we liked coming but kristele she was going too far with customers we saw that she didn't want to serve them and she thought that about money with certain customers she didn't smile

One of the very best if not the number one bakeries in Geneva. First class sandwiches, savory cheese tarts, canapés, croissants, breads, deserts and many many other items. Super fresh, made with top notch ingredients and well presented.I stop there every time I head out of town for a mountain hike or trip and have never been disappointed. The tea room is not very large but the produce are what its all about. I am giving it 5 starts because it really stands out compared to most other bakeries in town.

We went to buy some things to eat in the place, with the intention of then having some coffees with some desserts, the place was practically empty, we wanted some salads and some noodles... they didn't want to let us eat in the place, only takeout they say .. we didn't understand why... Almost all the tables were free... ok we only bought the noodles and the salad since we don't know the area and my daughter was hungry... we returned to the accommodation and the noodles with salmon are in disrepair!!. I don't even feel like going to complain... I'd better leave this comment here, they really deserve a bad score on Google, they lost a customer.

Welcome not at all friendly, even if I arrived with a smile on my face. When I ordered milk breads, the waitress instead of telling me that they didn't have what I ordered, she replied arrogantly: "Do you see where the milk breads?" In my opinion this lady doesn't like her job and makes these customers feel that way. Unfortunately every time I come on Sunday morning the window is empty and they don't have the basic products for a bakery, no bread with milk, no croissant, no pain au chocolat, simply no bread. Sad to see a place full of potential wasted by incompetent employees.

What's happening? The service has become bad. Really. It’s a shame, I love this bakery and its daily specials (before). It seems that there is no longer any desire. Rita's time is long gone... Please pull yourself together.

Interesting location and that's what gives the second star. On the other hand, the service is as pleasant as walking on a Lego. Too bad for a beautiful autumn Sunday morning. The tables around us were laughing because the service was so disastrous for everyone.

The waitress with glasses is so unpleasant and rude, you feel like you're bothering her with every order. She systematically forgets something, the last time, we ordered her 2 glasses of water with the rest of the order, she forgot one, we recommended it to her, this time with ice cubes, with this heat, she replied that she already had too much market 🤔 and if you want ice cubes, you have to pay! After consuming two lunches. And this is just one anecdote among others with this same waitress... she would do better to change jobs instead of pouring out her unhappiness on the customers. Despite complaining to the boss after a previous bad experience with this girl and having witnessed her bad behavior with other customers, nothing changed. It’s really the last time I’m going there!

Very big disappointment, Ehinger is the bakery of my childhood, we come as a family and we have always been very warmly welcomed...in 2023 things have changed. Unpleasant service, and not smiling, at the time of payment she said “take out the money” I was shocked before that I wanted to leave before she put the food on the table because she was so bitter Don't plan to come back, the little dip at 500m is a thousand times better The girl with the glasses deserves to be taken over by the owner of the bakery and very quickly.

Very satisfied customer for around 10 years. This morning Thursday January 19, 2023 at 11:40 a.m., breaded chicken sandwich. Arriving home, I open the sandwich to add a little mayonnaise and discover what looks like mouse droppings. This was my last visit to the Ehinger tea room.

Always a simple, no-fuss service. Always full of choices of pastries, breads and tarts + a daily special.

Old place, sometimes long service. Super good pastries and pastries even if they lack finesse but delicious. The apple turnovers are a delight. Just make 2 or 3 repairs (window, lamp.)

So as much as the croissants and choc breads are absolutely delicious, you have to go there at 7 a.m. to hope to get them! It is unacceptable that each time, around 8:30-9 a.m., there is no longer a ceoissant or pain au chocolat!!! For a bakery it’s absurd!! In addition, it is a bakery that practices favoritism. I go there one morning, I wait for someone to come and serve me on the terrace for a good 5 minutes and no one. Then another customer arrives, kisses a waitress, is served directly, and orders her croissant. NO BAD, it was the last croissant, which a person who arrived AFTER me shoved under my nose, and all because they knew each other… There are efforts to be made in this bakery…

Be careful, the sales staff does not seem to know the pastries sold and told me that the black forest pie does not contain alcohol, and said that the bottom contains a good portion. The café is also not reachable by telephone, which rings in vain. Too bad for the work of the baker who took a lot of trouble and I didn't eat it.

I was at the cafe : I don’t recommend. The croissant was average, and so was the coffee. Nothing special, in a rather ugly little room and the staff was also just OK : for sure not fun and rather dry and patronizing. The bakery looked interesting, but I didn’t venture… wanted to leave as soon as I finished.

After 20 years of loyalty, I have given up on going back because the welcome has become deplorable, a shame because the pastries were excellent.

Economy place for proper French breakfast, good price, good food. An overall good neighborhood bakery and tearoom. The downside is there are some strange people hanging around, one guy ordered food and wanted to pay less. The service can be slow since there are too many customers, but very nice waitress! Overall can recommend if you are looking for a place to get decent food with good price, and not picky on the environment

Too expensive and not at all good pastries I paid 11.20 CHF for an éclair, a slice of black forest and a hot chocolate. The lightning was very dry as if it was a few days ago and the black forest was still frozen!! When I asked if the pastries were their own production I was told yes but that they freeze them to keep them longer. Better to buy some in a supermarket for 4 CHF per piece. Very expensive wardrobe with bad pastries The Black forest was still frozen and the éclair was too dry as if it had been sitting there a few days. For 11.20 CHF u can find way better in Geneva.

Excellent bread it's a tearoom with two parts and a good terrace the terrace overlooks a main road in Geneva which is important for their product the bread is really excellent I like their chicken sandwich but what makes me come to them is their seasonal fruit tartlets are a marvel, yes really. You have understood that you are not going to come for the decor but for their delicious product.

Very pleasant terrace despite the noise, on the other hand there are holes in the concrete with the risk of falling, as for the furniture it's rubbish! Rickety tables, ditto chairs, it's really making money at a low cost, but as long as the customers come! QED

The ladies working in this bakery have no consideration for their customers, they put the orders of their few regulars before yours even if you ordered AND paid before them.. a real lack of respect. Waiting 15 minutes for a spill and not even a word of apology, it's a shame. Not to mention a hair found in a sandwich and they find that not so shocking... never again, to run away from.

That alone, it deserves a good appreciation for croissants whose price almost spoiled my pleasure - and yet, they were magnificent, very plump and very hot! (I'm fixated on the price of croissants.)

Good stop off between aeroport et Geneve proper. I have been here several times during trips to CERN. The pastries are always of a high quality, great taste, friendly accommodating staff, a decent espresso. Voila, c’est super!
