A gem of a find with delicious assorted pastries, chocolates, and sandwiches plus cold drinks.

If I don't doubt the walnut bread which is very good. I was amazed that I was charged 50 cents to cut bread with a slicer, even though my left forearm was in a cast. Bread costing 5.20 chf. It's incredible how little empathy the staff have and how I realize that illness is a business. Another detail: a young woman was arranging biscuits on a tray without gloves...

The Stalder bakery serves the Bassins bakery and grocery store. The pastries, Bagnat breads, and to order cakes, surprise breads, canapes and other things are of very good quality. The Christmas logs are succulent and original.

The service and the staff are very important. There really is an effort to be made there. It is clear that the welcome is not the same for everyone.

I went there regularly but for about 2 months we often had stomach aches afterwards… I came across a tuna sandwich which was completely gone!! And a completely dry carrot cake that must have been sitting in the window for at least several days…. What is going on?? It was so good before...

The baguettes and loafs of bread are great! However the croissant and pains au chocolat are average. The sandwiches are below average to be honest. I mean look at this poor sandwich, raise the price by 0.5 Fr. if it's going to get us a few extra pieces of lettuce and a whole pickle....

Good quality food, I also recommend the cookies which are excellent. However, the service is quite disappointing with unfriendly and unsmiling staff.

Cockie overcooked sandwiches it's a big joke a little tiny piece of tomato salad a slice 👍🏻 And take a braid it's all dry... it wasn't like that before

Excellent breads. As a French emigrated to Switzerland I have fairly high demands and I am ready to travel miles to get bread from Stalder. My favorite breads: chestnut bread, balance bread, old mill bread, epi baguette.
