The location is one of the most beautiful on Lake Biel. But for me the concept is absolutely inappropriate. What I've eaten so far hasn't been bad. Service with the exception of the boss (at least I assume he is the boss) is not good. Inattentive, speaks neither German nor French. A lot of tradition was lost. I sat at this place for years and was happy with a “simple” burger and fries. Sea bream fillet in batter for 38.- is certainly delicious, but I don't need it. I'm there for camping and don't need “schikimikki” in this place. Takeaway is possible, but it is delivered in cardboard boxes without lids to take away. There is no carrying bag. All in all a nice place for a beer with a nice view, I miss what used to be there.

I agree with the accusations made by some of their visitors regarding the service employees, which are exaggerated and false. I found the employees on site to be polite and supportive. Tables were reserved for us inside and outside and we were able to choose where we wanted to eat (despite 18 people). The food was very nicely presented and was delicious. There were also very good vegetarian options on the menu. As a student I had to dig deep into my pockets because of the prices, but it was totally worth it for this experience. Thanks!

We've been there twice now for dinner. Both times the enthusiasm is muted. The dishes are very tasty, but the price is upper limit and the presentation is partly bad (salad bowl can hardly be eaten from the bowls that are too small, let alone stir so that the sauce is distributed). Unfortunately, the service still has a lot of room for improvement and will hopefully receive intensive training instead of simply letting the guests learn by doing. The young, friendly people don't approach the guests very actively to take requests, they don't speak German very well, let alone French, and they clearly haven't been instructed on Swiss orders (we then explained to the gentleman what a pole is). is, there was still no training discount 😉). The aperitif drinks were only served after the meal, which was a bit irritating. We would definitely stop by again for a drink in the cozy lounge. Probably not for eating. Ah, and in order to "get rid" of the guests in the evening, a friendly hint would somehow be more pleasant than simply turning on the bright lights at 10 p.m. and then throwing the guests to the mosquitoes 🤷🏻‍♀

Last Thursday we spontaneously stopped at the Brasserie am See and treated ourselves to culinary delights at the self-service stand. The concept is fantastic and the locations are modern and attractively designed. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was really delicious. The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified. There are also vegan alternatives. Conclusion: absolutely worth a visit!

The zander fillets were excellent. Unfortunately there is almost no parking to come by car…. Or you have to walk several hundred meters…

Very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere right by the lake, comfortable chairs, varied and appealing offering, I could hardly decide, great value for money, the dishes are very nicely presented, I'm already looking forward to the next time. Small note, classic salad in the bowl is almost impossible to eat, we asked for a plate and a very nice plate with a recess arrived, ideal for the large salad.

I liked everything, the restaurant's menu is appropriate for the place and there is plenty to choose from. The staff is young, you notice that they lack experience, but they are very friendly and very motivated, good team. The restaurant is modern and with very good views of the lake 😎

A disappointing service, we can only hope for the next customers to come that a new competent and professional team will be formed... We don't know where the toilets are (nothing indicated). And when you start looking, the waiters rush to you, not to tell you where they are, but to actually accompany you there (it's quite annoying).

After having lunch, wanting to remember the beautiful moment spent in the restaurant, I decide to politely call a waiter who rudely waves his hand at me in response, as if even just the thought of taking a photo of us was disgusting. Still wanting the photo, I nod to a waitress who, with extreme kindness and a dazzling smile, did us the extreme courtesy of taking 3 photos of us. I can only say to the waiter that his behavior towards me was not favorable to his approach towards the customer

It was tasty. Fresh and regional products are on the menu and served. The meatless burgers and the side dishes that came with them were a hit. Friendly service. We will be back.

A little expensive. The setting is splendid with the lake opposite. The staff is friendly and attentive. The plates are well presented, probably also to make people forget the small quantity. 23 frs zander chnusperlis 6-7 pieces with mayonnaise. No salad or fries on the side, it's rather expensive.

Disappointing, ordered a sandwich, got fried bread, sausage with salt. Cola without fizz. ( for sure not fresh opened). I do not recommend eating there.

6 people + 1 toddler ate on site. The food and the ambience were very nice and delicious! The service was very stressed at the beginning and seemed overwhelmed, we were there at a rush hour (6:00 p.m.) When the hectic calmed down a bit, the server apologized and made him very pleasant. Seemed honest and reflective.

After lunch we already decided to go out for dinner again in the evening. The food is extremely fresh, beautifully prepared and tastes really good. The atmosphere is very cozy with a great view of Lake Biel. A mega enrichment for the campsite. We'll be back and wish you a great start.
