Brasserie Le Jura in Neuchâtel

Restaurant with a traditional brasserie atmosphere, friendly and friendly. Real cooking dishes, “homemade” type. As a starter I had cold calf's head, then veal kidneys as a main course. Homemade mashed potatoes are famous. Good country bread. Open wines from the region, notably Chambeau (blend).

We ate at the Jura brasserie and ate the veal breast as well as the tomme cheese on a bed of salad. The servers were pleasant.

Excellent service, very friendly and attentive! Excellent meal, succulent steak with homemade fries, vegetarian plate on request, excellent. I recommend!

Excellent food, absolutely delicious. Do not order soup though as it just filled us and we had no room for dessert. The service was not really friendly at the beginning, but then got better. Atmosphere could also be a bit better, but then again it would lose its Charme.

Wow, what a discovery!! Words fail me to express the sensations felt...just Bravo for the quality of the products we ate (beef entrecôte and beef tartare) how to make "classic" dishes an explosion of flavor...everything was perfect (from the quality of the service and waiters at meals, wines and desserts)…cooking barely overcooked for a request for rare meat and we were entitled to all your apologies and a gesture on the bill…I have nothing to complain about apart from good luck maintaining this level of excellence! I think that in terms of value for money there is no better place in Neuchâtel! I recommend and I will definitely go back!

Terrace not very neat and Chasselas d’Auvernier not very tasty. The waiter was conspicuous by his absence.

Exceptional single-player experience. I came one week evening to eat alone at the restaurant, and what an experience! Exceptional service, warm professional: we take the time to advise you and we serve you quickly. On the main course I chose osso-buco, my favorite dish since childhood, and this version made my heart skip a beat. Tenderly delicious meat mousseline to die for, crunchy vegetables…. Who crack up! For dessert I wanted something delicious…. We all know the brownie and we love it, but the one from Jura is something else. If you think you are no longer hungry at the end of a meal…. Taste it, you will see that the notion of hunger quickly gives way to that of infinite pleasure. A flawless experience that makes you want to come back, right from the front door! THANK YOU

Traditional and excellent food.

Passing through and after trying to be welcomed with a smile without reservation we were received very warmly and professionally. Dishes of very good quality, from the region and very well recommended by the waiter who is very attentive to his customers. I recommend the regional sausage in a very tasty crust. Without hesitation I will return to this art deco style brasserie.

I really enjoyed my evening at La Brasserie Le Jura. The food was very good, not too sophisticated, which is exactly what I expect from a typical brasserie. The staff was friendly, and I loved the ambiance. I started with the gnocchi with black truffle and a cheese cream. The gnocchi could have used a bit more salt, but combined with the cheese cream, it was a fantastic mix. Then, I had the saucisson Neuchâtelois in pâte feuilletée, and I finished with an XL cookie with pecan ice cream and praline chocolate. I can highly recommend these three dishes! I'll definitely be back!

I recently dined at the Brasserie in Neuchatel, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. I came with a friend for her birthday! We ate really well! Friendly and helpful staff but a little overwhelmed at lunchtime! We waited 25 minutes to receive the menu card otherwise everything was perfect

Having left with a colleague 1 hour before the others, the waiter suggested that we divide by 11 (the number we were) even though we had not taken the same thing. It was then that it came back to us at 34,... And the server HIMSELF offered us to round up to 35!!! It was an hour later that our colleagues left and the surprise: the two people who had already paid before had almost been forgotten as if they had not paid. My colleagues had to make a statement outside and then come back to request a refund of the two menus already paid for. Having with my colleagues an average age of 16 years old, I find it limiting on the server side. I would like to point out that we had booked in advance.

This is my favorite restaurant! The chef of this establishment is not only talented, but above all he is passionate and places great importance on everyone's tastes. First Hunt, Second Editions!!!! Once again this year I am opening the ballé with Jura or even let's say the new Jura which to my taste offers one of the best garnishes which tastes fresh and homemade. We were served by Julien who was very pleasant and full of good advice who offered us a great creative cocktail as an aperitif accompanied by the wine list which will delight all palates and all budgets to accompany the meals (full of magnum ;) ). For the meal. As starters: Perfect meurette-style egg (great discovery for me), deer tartare (not too powerful as one might fear) Dishes: Mouse and wild boar pluma from the Alcala brothers in Vaumarcus, not disappointed with their reputation. Great products. ... wine: Magnum de chateau neuf / btl Cabernet Franc de la grillette I came out with the skin on my stomach tight and a smile on my face, what more can I say. Great !

A brasserie with a great ambience in the middle of the old town. Our server was attentive and helpful. And the food tasted wonderful. The other guests even described the mashed potatoes as the best they had ever eaten. The Pinot Noir that we drank with it was also very tasty.

The Jura restaurant in Neuchâtel has modernized its menu after a change of ownership. Although this modernization represents a fresh approach, I have to admit that I feel that some of the original charm that traditional dishes like tartare once offered has been lost. Despite the changes in the kitchen, the service in the Jura restaurant remains professional and courteous. The waitresses and waiters are always attentive and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant's central location in the heart of Neuchâtel also means it is easy to reach by all means of transport. It should be noted, however, that the price of the restaurant is in the upper segment. Despite the remarkable modernization and first-class service, the loss of the original charm is regrettable.

We went here pretty late for lunch. They didn't have the regular lunch menu since it was past lunchtime. We ordered out of a limited menu items that they had. I was not expecting much but boy was it good. We ordered a steak tartare which was really good and the bread that accompanied it was fantastic. The charcuterie board was well endowed with meats ..the cheese was ok. We also ordered Saucisson stuffed in bread with a layer of mustard. It was delicious and the best dish. Our server was very friendly and kind.

Given the reputation of the establishment I was downright disappointed the service was slow like we waited a while standing in the middle of the restaurant for a waiter to come and seat us then being a fan of tartare I took the beef tartare supposedly cut with a knife I have some doubts... but hey it was bland without taste the fries were soft I don't know if I would go back.....
