Incredible pizza, the dough a delight

Excellent food! A real little Italian haven in the middle of Neuchâtel... More than adequate service with the room attendant. However, there was an error regarding the wine (price on the menu and price in reality) and we had indicated that we were coming for a birthday. No commercial gesture, too bad... I highly recommend this place for its dishes :)

We ate very well, however we found the environment very noisy.

Quality cuisine for a service that leaves Désiré. Service staff, passive aggressive, stressful and not at all attentive to the customer. I would even say condescending. Of course we arrived at 8:30 p.m., this was very disappointing, he made us feel that when we were seated, without taking into account that I was with a stroller, he placed us at the worst table in the restaurant, right in the middle of the passage which forced me not to breastfeed, knowing that right next door there were tables available. We were unable to sit there because supposedly a table of 4 was reserved there.... 1st lie...(the table was not set, it was clearly not allocated, because if the kitchen had to Supposedly closing in 10 minutes I don't understand how a table of 4 had to arrive after us, if already at that moment it was a disaster. we asked to be placed right next to it, in order to be more comfortable there with the baby and the stroller. The request was refused. He imposed the round table on us in the middle of the passage!! He scraped the stool chairs behind me when he passed because at one point the stroller was in the way... I found it annoying and a lot of discomfort between my friend and me. Then a lot of stress for the order, no offer of drinks, nor aperitifs at the installation, and when taking the order, he gave us a speech, based on this subjectivity insinuating a negative reaction on my part, I was surprised, It's true that he speaks to us quite badly because we had asked for a starter, and supposedly he will have to serve everything at the same time as the main course but to please him he will ask the kitchen to do it separately, basically for us at the same time. time or not we didn't care OK just wanted to have this charcuterie board what... He calmed down when, I answered him confused that I didn't understand where the problem was, that it was OK that I was part of the profession in short it was full of micro aggressions, I was overwhelmed, I felt attacked, not listening and we asked for a large bottle of sparkling water we got two small ones to really tax us... It's a shame, my friend lost his appetite, and I was very upset and not comfortable with baby as a result. I enjoyed the food very well. But I don't recommend it, if it means having a bad time. I emphasize that this was the 2nd time that I came to eat and the same except that it was a colleague who was not very kind. On the other hand, during breakfast the waitress was great. I was trained in the hotel, hospitality and catering industry, I was taught to respect the customer and do the best as possible to ensure that they had a pleasant time, that my role was not just to carry plates but to create an atmosphere conducive to good be. Brief Disgusted, I didn't sleep all night!

Very bad reception. The entries are very expensive and nothing very famous or sought after. The dish was good, but a little too salty. As for dessert, the canello, much too sweet, heavy and not fresh. Disappointing.

Superb Italian atmosphere with fresh products and preparations with an original presentation. The team is very pleasant and accommodating, allowing you to take away when you are in the adjoining hotel or to eat on site. Have a good time in this restaurant and enjoy yourself. Note that having been able to eat in this restaurant 3 times during the week, we are pleasantly surprised each time.

The dish was quite good, however the service was deplorable. We specified to let us taste our aperitif before serving us the dish, the waiter came to ask us to get rid of it and send us the rest even though we had not finished. Then we were asked to leave because the restaurant was going to close soon, it was very hasty. I have never seen that. It's a shame because we won't come back

We called to reserve a table on the terrace of the Petite Rochette one weekend evening. We were told we don't take reservations and "if you come at 8 p.m." it risks being full. We decide to give it a try anyway. We arrive and it's empty. We want to order food and we are told “we don’t make food after 8 p.m.”. After discussion, they still prepared hamburgers for us. No table service. Plates, napkins, cutlery are to be taken yourself in plastic boxes in canteen mode. The same goes for your consumption. On the other hand, the price is not that of self-service. CHF 30.- a hamburger with 5 potatoes. Too bad we were the only 3 customers until we left at 9:15 p.m. they could make an effort on the service.

The homemade mint croquettes were in fact ordinary little rectangular frozen croquettes of poor quality. Seafood pizza is in name only. A simple tomato puree with 2 thin slices of squid and an informed porridge. Very disappointed

Good evening everyone, we booked in this restaurant for my darling's birthday and we had an excellent time with a huge platter of cheese and Italian cold cuts followed by dough and pizza, the only downside was the menu was half finished according to the waitress they still had to make adjustments so some dishes that we had spotted were not there, we were still able to find what we were looking for🥰

I ordered shrimp pasta, the waiter described to me that it was washed and peeled with the head apart. The shrimp were not cleaned or shelled at all. He dares to ask me haughtily if I have ever eaten shrimp in my life! the waiter was not at all commercial. Subsequently I asked him for another dish, he clarified that he was not going to offer us this dish, we told him that we would pay in any case, that was not the purpose of the complaint. He tells me that the kitchen is closed and that the cook has left (I could see him from my seat), it is 10 p.m. sharp. The server comes back instantly not related to my dish in the end I told him that I don't want to eat he replied that the cook tasted the pasta and that it was very good even though he was supposed to have left, according to these comments. The waiter was very insistent after several repetitions of the fact that I did not want to eat, he stopped insisting. When it came time to check out we obviously didn't expect anything from such an unpleasant waiter, he offered us one of the starters despite everything... My friends took a dish with meat for 42.- for a very sparse plate. I will not recommend this restaurant.

All in all the food was good. Unfortunately, the restaurant should probably cancel the take-away offer. There were many complications. I first ordered the “Pugliese” pizza. The server then corrected me based on my pronunciation (which was correct) and took another pizza (Fiorello) as my order. I even showed him the name on their online menu. Then the Fiorello pizza arrived - the wrong one. We then tried to explain for about 10 minutes that we wanted the Pugliese, not the Fiorello, which they didn't understand. At first the Pugliese that was brought was right because the Pugliese was supposed to have tuna on it - which is also not true. Then the pizza became a Fiorello again, etc.etc. We tried to convey that I wanted a Pugliese (also because I'm a vegetarian), but in the end I got a Fiorello, without tuna - the pizza itself wasn't to my taste either... After a lot of back and forth talk, I was able to pay the price for Pugliese, which was fine in my opinion(:

For the first time in this restaurant and, being Italian and Neapolitan, I am very disappointed. Pizza very difficult to eat. Very heavy pizza dough with a lot of very thick mozzarella which made the taste unpleasant. Raw and virtually salt-free tomato sauce. The “calzone” pizza had so much spicy salami (which is not specified on the menu) that it was difficult to eat. Very difficult to access with the stroller (stairs, many very tight tables which prevent passage). Unfortunately we will not return.

+ The welcome and the friendly staff. - Unfortunately nothing I wanted to order was available. A little light for a Saturday evening (primitivo, paccheri). It would be nice if this was mentioned on the map so as not to waste time. I will come back in 2-3 years (if the restaurant still exists), once the staff will be well-established and there will be no more delivery problems with the products.

Excellent pasta dish! Small downsides: a little wait for a simple dish and no bread/oil/salt on the table like in any Italian restaurant to satisfy our hunger during the wait. But otherwise, great address in Neuchâtel

I discovered “fiorello gastronomia” which offers dishes from southern Italy I like to tell you that for the purist that I am (mother-in-law is from the south and cooks like a queen!!) it's not always a win...but the tastes are there, it's hearty and affordable. Thank you I will come back!!!!

This is already the 4th time that I have been to this restaurant where I think that at the moment they are simply the best pizzas in the entire canton of Neuch. Yesterday, I changed a little and had the Sicilian specialty Caponata and I simply traveled taste-wise throughout the meal! Congratulations to the chef and the whole team!

Nice decor but no parking nearby. we had booked by email but we never received the confirmation and the pizza was stuffy and the cheese was clumpy. The restaurant doesn't seem to be very organized meh meh...

Very simple dishes, cold starters but hot plate (microwave?). We were refused to order a dessert at 10 p.m. and we were kindly asked to leave at 10:30 p.m. because they had to close.

I came to eat with 4 friends for the birthday of one of them. The restaurateurs had forgotten our reservation, but offered us aperitifs in return. The service was not optimal (orders misunderstood) and the portions were small. However, the food was very good.

Warm Italian welcome, a attentive waiter, the super cozy atmosphere and the meal, the photos speak for themselves! For a starter to share, two main courses, two mixed drinks, two glasses of wine and a cold tea: 103.- CHF.. what can I say other than thank you? We will definitely come back :)

Piadina was good, but I ordered one of which the ingredients were: burrata, tomato, prosciutto and rucola, it came without rucola and none of the staff said anything about it, they just gave it to me without one of the ingredients? I see in the other comments that they have often issues with this rucola haha. The taste was good though! I ordered without prosciutto and they charged the same price of with prosciutto, in other places I Switzerland and Italy, usually when I order something without the meat, they charge less. 15chf is way too much for what I got. Also, we went when the place was empty and even without many clients the toilet was dirt and the door handle was totally broken. Staff were nice.

Piadina was lukewarm with some mozzarella and tomatoes, no aroma. Totally tasteless, the piadina bread was greasy. Prepared completely carelessly, although the staff were very friendly.

The piadina are good but the customer is clearly being made fun of here. Bought a piadina for 13.90fr ham, brie, tomato salad. I specify without mayonnaise. I realize while eating it that the main ingredient of this dish is missing: cheese! I go back and the cook says to me “oh yes I didn’t have any left. I forgot to tell you! » 🙄 Seriously?!!! So I'm supposed to pay the maximum to eat a piadina that no longer has the main/most expensive element?? I ask them for compensation and they disdainfully throw me away….2fr!!!!! 😂 No really, they don’t care about the customer’s head. I won't come back again.

Nice place as well as the service and the food. To be put in the context of a take away or eating on the go during the day. In the evening the aperitifs are also very nice!

I ordered a Tigella with rucola and they put lettuce instead. When I told them about it, they simply said that rucola was over. Really??? You don't inform your customers about an ingredient which is missing? I am speechless.

Small, discreet bar-style restaurant which doesn't necessarily invite you to enter and yet, what a shame. You will eat one of the best pizzas in the canton, the ingredients are fresh and of good quality and you can feel it. I would just criticize the room being a little cramped and the music being a little too loud at times. Otherwise the service is impeccable and the food excellent.

Evening with friends. First visit. We were well received and served. The atmosphere in the basement dining room with “wine cellar” decoration was relaxed and friendly. We started with the Taglieri starter of high quality products followed by a trilogy of homemade and very delicious pastas and sauces (all-you-can-eat pasta always on Wednesdays). Our Primitivo red wine from Salento IGT was a good recommendation by the waitress (from her region). Dessert was a rather creamy and sensational homemade tiramisu. The boss offered us the artisanal Limoncello accompanying the tasteful espresso, a very appreciated gesture. To do again.

Super warm welcome, the piadina I ate was excellent, the products used were top notch. The espresso is very good. I would happily go back to try other dishes.

Quality ingredients but result not to my taste. The piadina was way too loaded with cheese and cold meats to the point of being sickening. Maybe a little rebalancing of the ingredients to make everything more digestible?
