We felt quite out of place in that restaurant, because most patrons were middle-aged couples who seem quite rich/comfortable. We were three young girls in their twenties. It seems like the manager found it weird for us to eat there, or maybe he was afraid we wouldn’t pay for our meals as we look pretty young. But he was nice towards us. The food was delicious! The downside was definitely the price. The burger with fries was 25CHF, which is pretty expensive (as anything in Switzerland to be fair). The service was also good, but as we didn’t feel like we belonged there, the service seemed a bit… cold. Don’t get me wrong, they were all very nice, but it’s just an atmosphere we weren’t used to. If you want to treat yourself to a nice expensive meal while you’re in the city, it’s a place to try!

Extremely slow service. Even after letting the staff know we had a train to catch in 1.5Hrs. Almost missed our train

First time I had real genuine fondu it was really good I enjoyed the experience, flavors and textures. Thai place was nice and great for people watching. It was a relaxing place.

This place is absolutely recommendable. As far as I understood, they have a lot of ‘trainee’ waiters, but they all do a fantastic, very professional job. They almost make you feel like in Kronenhalle in Zurich or Suvretta House in St. Moritz. Food is amazing too, very tasty, and they always have a great selection of food. If I could, I’d give them a sixth star.

Several comments for this moment of restoration or given the frontage we expected a certain standard. Let's start with the waitress: - Very cold at first and that remained the case until the end. - In addition, the table right next to us had the privilege of having an appetizer before the dishes, this was not the case for us. For what ? - We had our medium sized dog which was not a problem eating, however at no time was a bowl of water offered to us. - Meal level, the starter lived up to our expectations, quality and a discovery of flavors. On the other hand, the “royal” burger should absolutely be avoided. The meat was very very dry, visually it was clear that the meat was far from being of quality on the contrary a meat that you can find in a snack and the burger in its general taste was very bland and not tasty as expected in a restaurant with such a level of prestige.

I have never given a 1 star to a restaurant ever before, however this place was extremely disappointing. The food quality was not good and everything was minimal tasting. We got the most expensive steak on a menu and it looked more like a beef burger then a steak. It was supposed to be cooked to medium rare and it was very well done. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone, there are a lot of cheaper options for way better food quality in the area. Please don’t waste your time or money!!!

Wanted to get fondue at this restaurant but there is a few for sharing one fondue so be mindful of that. Fondue was really nice but restaurant seemed a bit like a tourist trap.

Wish I could have given a better rating. We stayed at the hotel and had dinner upon arriving. Meal was fine/average. Breakfast was a bit a disaster but we partook as it was included. There are a number of better dining options in the area.

The hotel restaurant is beyond imagination. The service and staff are wonderful and the food is more than excellent, especially the restaurant service and staff. I cannot describe it. No matter what I say, I will be remiss in their evaluation. I can only say thank you very much. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

We waited 35 minutes to order our food then another 1 hour for appetizers and after that another 1.5 hour to revive our main course.

The food is alright but definitely not good enough for the price. We were a group of 4 and waited 45 minutes before bread arrived, an hour and a half before the soup, and 2 hours before the rest our our food got to the table. They said it was because they were busy but there was hardly anyone there.

The restaurant Brassiere St. Georges, I’ll give 1/5 for bad customer service. The servers really need to work on their attitude. We’re paying customers irrespective of race. We decided to dine at the restaurant, we waited for about 25 mins and the server came in & almost threw the menus at the table, We then later waited at the restaurant for 45 mins and nobody came to take our order despite walking upto the 2 lady servers twice telling them that we were ready for our order. Nobody showed up. We decided not to eat there anymore.

An upscale restaurant, the food is delicious and fresh. I wanted to try cheese fondue, a Swiss dish, but they warned us in the restaurant that it contains alcohol. Thank you. They have delicious steak and burrata salad. The food arrived on time without delay

The hotel is beautiful and wonderful, the breakfast is excellent and its location is also convenient

Hotel is a bit old but our room is tastefuly decorated. Reception staves are so nice. Breakfast is good, dining room is dark so I wanted to sit outside, I took one table outside, I unfolded & spreaded the table clothe on the table, I thought it was understood and it means someone had taken that table. But the waiter didn't bother & let his friend to sit. When I came back to my table with the food somebody was there and I lost my table, not happy about that and not happy to that male waiter. I found it not very professional. The hotel location is very good & convenient, near the train station & restaurants, easy to eat around. We had dinner the first night, foods are good and the European waiter is good & efficient.

I sat as the first customer at 18:05 i got my club sandwich 70 minutes later. The waiter trying to sell me wine and beer 3-4 times because I’m a muslim which is an intended behavior to trigger me. They brought a burger and told me its your club sandwich.. I insisted to take it as its not my order. The food is good but the waiters except their manager must behave better.

Ideal for celiacs - Gluten Free! The restaurant is very well placed. We loved sitting next to the window, being able to open it and it being free of tobacco smoke. The COVID issue: the waiters always wore masks, the tables were separated from each other. We feel pretty safe. The food was delicious. Very delicious gluten-free bread. They adapt dishes to gluten-free. The waiters were very friendly, especially the one who served us the most. Very rich wines. The service was quite fast and professional. We will repeat for sure!

Really great food. We went there for breakfast and the food did not disappoint. Even for the breakfast included when staying on the hotel, food was constantly being made fresh, and the portions were very generous. In general the option is a good one when in the area and not in the mood for a snack or fast food

We ate at Brasserie St. Georges several evenings during our hotel stay. The quality of the food was generally good, the prices were rather high. The service was mostly friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the good impression at our last dinner turned very negative. As part of the check-in on the day of arrival, we reserved tables at reception for dinner in the Brasserie St. Georges. Unfortunately, 2 out of 6 reservations did not arrive at the restaurant. On the first evening this wasn't a problem as the restaurant wasn't really full. Unfortunately, on the last evening the restaurant was fully booked, so the receptionist could only offer us a table 2 hours later (at 9 p.m.). There was no real focus on solutions from either the restaurant or the reception, even though the mistake obviously happened there. We sat down in the bar and whiled away the waiting time. Nobody in the hotel would have thought of the idea of ​​a free drink as an apology! At around 8:45 p.m. a table became available in the restaurant. When we wanted to place our order, the restaurant's receptionist explained to us that the stove was broken and that therefore only cold dishes were offered. We grudgingly acknowledged this and ordered accordingly. When we received our cold dishes after a while, we saw that the tables around us were being served hot dishes (including fondue / steaks / pasta) at the same time. When we asked the receptionist about it, he became mushy and tried to cover up his obvious lie with excuses. After a long discussion and our suggestion, at least the food was not charged. But this is not really a service offered voluntarily, but rather out of force and at our insistence! This is not the kind of service I want in a restaurant with this price! Unfortunately, this experience has had a very negative impact on the positive experiences of the previous dinners, so I don't want to recommend the Brasserie St. Georges!

From the ratings I had higher expectations of the place.The menu offered a wide variety of cuisines. They offered two different types of fondue, but you had to get it for at least two. The fondue didn’t come with much. Spent a lot and left hungry.

Wehad a very nice dinner. Staff was polite and brought some free appetizers before our main dish. Although not cheap, prizes are on the lower side for Swiss standards.

I ordered the rump steak medium, but it came out well done, so I asked the waiter and he said medium was correct. When another waiter brought the bill, I asked again and he seemed embarrassed and apologized and gave me a 10% discount.

Marvelous! Without a doubt a place with a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. It is also appreciated that you find a waiter who speaks your language perfectly. We tried the cheese fondue, spectacular. Of course, don't do anything else, it comes with potatoes, pickles and salad. The price is expensive, but it is normal for a place like this.
