I hope that someone who has bad taste will eat and calm down and walk away and not get stuck I tried four types of sweets, and all of them were not sweet and less than ordinary.

Just a shame. The cafe was about 1/2 full and we still waited 15 minutes for a black tea that never came. The staff just stood around. In addition, some of the artificial leather chairs are already quite worn out. Not a place to linger

The first time I came, the food was ok. It was in 2018. So I came to eat again this time. Very good, delicious food, good atmosphere. If next time I come, I will have to stop by to eat again. The staff were very nice. We reserved a table but came early so we sat and drank in front of the restaurant first. And it was cold, so we took the cloth that was placed at the table to cover. The employees came to see it. Laugh and tell us what you're comfortable with😅 All the food is delicious. Good shop atmosphere The bathrooms are clean. The restaurant is not difficult to find. It's close to hotels and shops. It's convenient. I miss Thai food. Must be here. Recommended.

Me and my wife visited shuh Interlaken grand cafe restaurant on Monday December 11 at 4 pm and were served by a young man wearing glasses who blatantly disrespected me and my wife and treated us extremely poorly , From the first moment we sat down and started to take our order he left in the middle of taking our order cutting us off mid order , when my wife asked him what tea he recommends he simply replied “I don’t know” , when she asked again he aggressively replied “I don’t know”, we both refrained from speaking to de escalate , I don’t know if this attitude has anything to do with the fact that my wife is Muslim and covers her hair with a modesty shall , When the waiter returned I attempted to verify that he wasn’t just having a bad day as we were prepared to understand if that was the case , so I thanked him twice to which he ignored me and dropped our teas and coffees on the table rudely Rather than making a scene we both remained extremely quite , however would like to express our deepest disappointment in the manner in which we have been treated , we underline that we do not accept being treated in such a way , and I do not accept my wife to be treated in such a way , especially for a cafe of this caliber , It’s safe to assume that we will not be returning and you have lost the both of us as customers , I hope that you consider your customers experience as a foundation for the success of any business , I have read about the history of your cafe on your website , it is sad to see how the passion and hard work of the pioneers of this cafe goes to waste and decays over time at the hands of those who can’t live up to the high moral standards and values of the originators

Good service, friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, not everyone can speak German well. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and simply not good. Not even the mixed salad was tasty. Very disappointing and not recommended.

Not the fondue that many people eat. I just ate raclette and was satisfied! My friend ate steak. The steak is really tender and delicious. I recommend both menus.

We ate dinner at Schuh’s tonight and waited 1 hour after ordering our food before it came out. We had to ask the staff for help. The chef did come out and apologized that the wait staff didn’t turn our order in. But no one would take responsibility beyond that. The food was good. No more than that. We feel like they should have offered some compensation for our extra long wait. There were at least 10 other tables that got their food before us (and they had come in long after us). We would not eat here again.

⚠️TERIBBLE SERVICE, RACIST The waiter saw us but did not attend to us. Had to help ourselves to a table. He looked very disinterested. Terrible service felt scammed. We wanted to order cheese fondue for sharing. Was told that it would be an additional CH8 per pax, but we ended up being charged CH28 per pax when the bill was brought to us. The waiter says that it is not his fault for the misunderstanding when everything was clearly communicated in British English. He clearly understood us and had no misunderstanding. We even had a chit chat. When we brought this issue to the owner, the owner was equally terrible. We could feel that they were racist. He was super sarcastic. We could definitely pay for our meal, but we just felt scammed because we are Chinese. Avoid at all cost

Please go to this restaurant if you would like to experience the following: 1. Rude and attitude problem waiter. 2. Racist! 3. Billed differently from what was explained. 4. Food taste bad. 5. Overpriced.

Unfortunately, even after 17 minutes of waiting, we were not addressed or served. The waitress saw us and we waved. Saturday, October 7th 3:54 p.m. (outside area 1/4 full) A pity.

We sat down on the terrace of the sophisticated café and feasted on a large “Schuh” and a small “Schuh”. Plus a cappuccino. It was very fine and the service was very accommodating and polite.

The typical main course (Herbst Hit) is delicious and also the cakes for dessert. The fondue not so good.

Service a shame, hours of waiting, and what's more a waitress (little blonde with short boyish hair) should change jobs 😡 there are people OK but being a little friendly won't change anything, or except possibly a tip! In short, customers are more than cash cows for them! This tearom has changed a lot in the last few years! We will come back more

Very very disappointing I have visited this place today I called the two waiters many times with no any reply to me , we go to them and ask them to come to our table also they didn’t come to us very raciest towards tourists , they go to all the table except our table I didn’t like the service and also no one came to us tell we leave the place I am really very disappointed .

I found a cozy spot at Schuh to relax and savor my coffee, surrounded by breathtaking views of Interlaken and paragliders landing. Although the food portions are small and the service is slow due to understaffing, it remains a pleasant place to enjoy a cup of coffee. What I had : Chili con carne Laugenbrezel lachs Cream cheese puff pastry Latte Macchiato

So, they’re serving Swiss and Thai dishes. Gotta say, the rosti was my jam, and the cheese fondue was also amazing. But the Thai food didn’t hit the spot. The place was comfy and had a plenty of space.

The roast beef was okay except for the tartar sauce, which came from a tube and is unworthy of a restaurant in a prime location.

The veal liver is fried to perfection, the sauce is a poem. The beef tartare was excellent as it has been for years, beautifully presented. The pork bratwurst also tasted excellent. The service is attentive and friendly. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine.

One of the best restaurants in Interlaken. In addition to Swiss classics (Zürcher Geschnetzeltes or Bratwurst with Rösti), there are other delicious dishes. The confectionery counter also has many highlights. Again any time.

Terrible service and racist staff. First, although there were reserved tables when I got into the restaurant, they refused to provide me with a reservation claiming that it was not their policy. It turned out that the supervisor didn’t want to give us a table just because we are “Arabs”. He apologized claiming that he had bad experience with Arabs and that they are horrible customers. However, he decided to let us in claiming that we are “OK” according to his classification.

Our starters were very good but our main courses more disappointing, especially considering the price. Lamb without much flavor, and the chicken in the chicken pasta didn't taste very good. Nevertheless, the terrace is pretty and pleasant. But too expensive for what we took.

Fine cafe in the middle of Interlaken with delicious cakes and desserts, very polite and friendly service. We stop here again to enjoy a coffee and food.

I was here in September 2019 and loved it. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Tom Yum Goong is quite delicious, but the acidity and spiciness are not as strong as those eaten in Thailand. However, I prefer this mild version. Maybe it has nothing to do with authentic Thai cuisine? Mustard curry chicken rice (Fried chicken with Pommery mustard sauce, jasmin rice and summer vegetables). I originally thought it was green curry, but it turned out to be yellow mustard. When I saw mustard, I subconsciously thought it was green mustard. It is choking and spicy... As expected, I don’t know English. Well, I should recognize Google Translate and not be lazy, but I don’t like yellow mustard, so this dish is not my dish. The rice is a bit soft, but the fried vegetables are delicious.

Food is decent here I enjoyed my fish but everyone else didn’t really enjoy their dishes. My husband said his pasta tasted like nothing he added so much salt and herb butter just for it to have some flavour. My father in law said the schnitzel was too oily. It’s a great location with decent food I personally recommend the salmon it was not over cooked and had the right amount of flavour for me.

Very nice cafe. We were participants in the Vespa Word days 2023 and stopped there often. Overall we were very satisfied with the service, unfortunately there was only one employee who treated us very unfriendly. I don't know what it was, personal dissatisfaction or she had something against us scooter drivers. In any case, that was a shame and tarnished the overall result a little.

Must visit. Delicious food. Even if you are vegetarian they have very good options. Must try Springrolls and Pastries with vegetables. Quality of cheese is too good.

The food was delicious, but it took an eternity until it was finally at the table. The waitress argues in front of the guests and comes to the table in a corresponding mood.

The food was very average. We ordered a fondue and initially wanted to share, but the waitress said that if we were to share, then she’d charge us an additional 8 CHF for the same dish. So we added a portion of spring rolls (which were far too oily). Our waitress had a fairly disinterested attitude and we had to wait forever for anything. For dessert, we ordered strawberries and cream, which looked pretty and tasted decent.

Overall it is a cafe that does waht it says on the "tin". I'd go back but the coffee is just standard.

Delicious, friendly service and a great view. Our visit to Schuh was rather spontaneous after a long hike in the morning. The beautiful outdoor area was extremely full when we arrived. The weather was great in the middle of the lunch rush. It wasn't a problem for us to take a seat inside, because the view from the window was nice here too. The service arrived quickly and put two tables together for us so that we all had space together. There were pens and paper for the children to draw. I personally always find it very good. Individual requests were accommodated, the food was plentiful and very good. Toilets clean. Ambience really very nice. We felt very comfortable and were well served. Thank you.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. The direction of where to sit or if you should wait to be seated is not clear. When we arrived we didn’t know where to go or if we could just choose a table and sit. We found a staff member and was told we could pick any table and take a seat. We reviewed the menu but after sitting for 10-15 minutes the staff had not come to check if we were ready to order, we had to get the attention of the waitress for our order to be taken. The food was ok but not amazing. After eating, no staff came to check if we needed anything or any drinks, the table was not cleared after finishing and we patiently waited for staff to come over. After a while a waiter came and cleared the table and we asked for the bill. It took about 5-10 minutes for the bill to be brought over as the waiter ran food, drinks and bills to other tables. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and personally won’t return.

Despite the delay (informed by phone), Mr. Michel reserved a particularly nice place for us. Thank you! The tartare is excellent! Service very friendly. I will gladly come again

Seating information is not provided. However, we are not telling you to sit anywhere. (I could have told him a story...) The person behind me just sat anywhere, so I sat down. I ordered Caesar salad and sirloin, and they were absolutely delicious. I wonder if Swiss conch can be this delicious. I ordered it medium rare, but I wonder if it's cooked differently than in Korea... Anyway, it wasn't tough at all and was absolutely delicious. The yellow thing on top of the meat is butter, and it is very salty. I skimmed it, set it aside, and ate it, and the seasoning was just right. For dessert, I ordered a small meringue ice cream (?) and meringues glace. Even though it's small, it's really big. It was okay.

Since the renovation, my wife and I have been to the Grand Café again. It's become really nice, you feel really comfortable there. The service was very friendly and quick and the food was simply excellent and of course the dessert too. Always happy, we are already looking forward to the next time.

The cheese pot is very special, but the bread is so sour that I can’t get used to it. The rice with beef slices is long and 1/4 of the rice is hard.

The facility is somewhat reminiscent of a retirement home. It was much more charming before! It was unique. Now it's boring. A pity!

I came here for a catered party. Quality of food was not bad, but the portions were tiny. The entire “dinner” consisted of a tiny salad, a small traditional Swiss pastry with meat and mushrooms and a small dessert. Otherwise, nice staff and a decent interior.

Interlaken is beautiful! This Café was right off the main street and we grabbed quick Carmel Latte, Pretzel butter sandwich, turkey+cheese+tomatoe+salad sandwich, and delicious fruit tart to go! Excellent choice for quick breakfast.
