Notice for Self-service 1808 My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Not only were the prices exorbitant for the insignificant quality and quantity of food served in cardboard trays, but I also encountered problems with the ordering kiosks, resulting in a double charge on my payment card. Dealing with this error was a nightmare, requiring numerous email exchanges to recover the unduly debited amount. Additionally, the layout of the place was so tight that the chairs and tables were pushed together, making any attempt to move difficult. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant and looking elsewhere, such as the self-service restaurants in Les Diablerets or Gryon, which offer a much better experience.

For 19 CHF, you too can enjoy two slices of smoked salmon over rice with a healthy dose of limp iceberg lettuce. My fault for expecting anything of an alpine poke bowl, I guess. Service was fast, but given the result I would have preferred a longer wait for a slightly better product.

Terrible service, rude staff. Asked us to leave our table while we were still having the lunch. We asked to give us another table to finish it they said that they don’t have one. The service is regrettable.

The cheese fondue was good, the other food was pretty good, and the waiter's attitude was good. Unfortunately, when the waiter asked us if we had ordered too much, he didn't give us any suggestions. He said it was enough if you thought it was enough. Later, there was a lot left, but it was okay. It can be packed, and the restaurant's hygiene management needs to be strengthened. The waiter checks the placemats used by the guests in front of so many guests. If they are not dirty, they put them away and reuse them for the next guest. Therefore, customers who come to this restaurant to eat , if the food falls on the table, it is recommended not to eat it. The waiter is excellent in serving and collecting the food. Thumbs up to the beautiful and handsome waiter.

Very good but very very expensive

So let's talk about self-service or whatever it's called. We went into the “low end” part of the restaurant to eat on the go. We ordered via the touch screens, rather practical, although the prices are high for the quality offered, as usual, the problem does not come from there. The "bugers" ordered had a salad containing a multitude of small critters still alive and the fries seemed cooked with oil from another age. In short, the hygiene of the restaurant is more than questionable and we would have liked to report it to the Vaudoise hygiene commission. Ps: it's not my style to bother writing such long comments just to tell lies 😂. I also don't care if it's because the salad is too fresh, I preferred to eat it without insects. As for oil, I'm not an expert, so if you say it's good for cooking, fine, I believe you. In any case I'm going to avoid drinking it by the spoonful, it seems a slightly absurd idea to me. And don't worry, I'll move on next time 👍 (And I give 5 stars because I realize that your restaurant is not directly linked to the restaurant, it would be unfair to lower the general average)

I don't know if the Bretaye vintage is white or a product used to unclog the toilet, and it's a shame that the cheese in the cheese crust is bad but the burger was good and the waitress was friendly.

Don't go to this place, go to the Hôtel du Lac where the staff is much friendlier. I ordered a vege burger which arrived with a horrible vege steak which tasted just like plasticky meat. I ask the waitress if they could do something because the burger is really not good, they say that it is not possible because I have already ordered. no alternative proposed. At the time of the bill no one opens their mouth, I pay the entire amount. A friend asks if it’s possible to offer me dessert because I haven’t eaten anything, the waitress refuses. I leave without having eaten and I pay 44.-. Everyone pays, the waitress still asks for payment for a beer and a cocktail. after discussion she admits that the drinks had already been paid for. She had counted incorrectly and at the end of the various payments there was 1.- left on an order of almost 400.-, she asked for it. No shame. Absolutely not recommended 01/14/2024 are you responding to me today insinuating that I behaved badly 11 months ago or are you talking about my work??? I imagine you know perfectly well who you are talking about!. Your attitude is incredible, it confirms what I already experienced last year. You know? The 12chf panini was terrible and I still have stomach acid the next day.

Didn't have the chance to eat because there were a lot of people which I completely understand. But when a good number of staff walk past us without saying anything only to have one person tell us that we have to queue elsewhere in an unpleasant tone after 10 minutes, it's relatively average.

Meal of the day around 1400, super smiling team despite the crowd arriving and those already leaving. Rude waiter, we arrive at 11:20 for coffee and denied to sit at the table. The reason? They need the table for lunch. Lunch is not even start before 12. Everyone else is sitting at the table sipping their chocolate and coffee but we got denied to sit at the table??? I would understand if the waiter told us if we can sit only until 12. Unacceptable service...

Good except 1 cappuccino at 6 francs very small and hot chocolates for the children at 6 francs.too expensive So you don't stop to drink chocolate, you take it with it! At 4 francs 4.50 francs no worries

Poorly organized and understaffed. We had to queue 45 minutes to get a table and then 45 more to get our simple order. The food is extremely expensive and prepared in a rush.

Avoid this scam at all costs! Worst service of my life. The waitress was rude and rude from the beginning to the end of our meal. She should work in a profession without contact with customers, or take training because she clearly cannot manage her current profession. The setting is nice, the service good. The quantities of dishes well served, but the quality is not exceptional. The frozen fries even though we asked if they were homemade. Be careful, the prices of drinks are exorbitant! 2 Monaco lemonade 20.- Even if the goods had to be assembled, this does not explain this amount... AHHHH...so many memories, in the years 86 to 93 I worked in Switzerland in the winter and in Villars/ollon often, when I took the first funicular in the morning, it was the address for breakfast. What good memories! little tear!

Restaurant where you eat well with superb panoramic views. On the other hand, the prices charged are too high (e.g. a large plate of different cold meats with bread + cheese, pickles and onions priced at 36.-frs and a cold lemon tea at 6.-frs).

A beautiful restaurant. The staff are some of the best in hospitality I have ever met. Melanie is such a delightful hostess. The food is 10/10 and the atmosphere/location is 11/10. A MUST see if you come to this part of Switzerland.

I’ve seen some other negative reviews, which is not, what we experienced. However, we are here in the summer with less guests. This might influence the experience (?). Our experience was lovely. Sure, prices are high but that’s everywhere in Switzerland and it is not unusual high. The view is amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The bartender was very friendly and delivered good mood. As they only had coffee from capsules (which I can’t stand by the taste and the bartender made us aware before „brewing“) we instead had a refreshing, self made ice tea, which was not sweet at all (which is a big plus for us, although it could have been a little bit stronger on the taste of tea). It was very refreshing on the hot summer day we have been there. It was just relaxing, together with the view and the music. But what was really delicious was the tarte d‘abricot. It was superb. (5 stars for the tarte) A great spot to spend some time relaxing.

Superb location, next to the terminus of the BVB mountain train and the chairlift going up to 2,000 m. The plates could be preheated.

Paying 6.20 for a cold Ovomaltine is exorbitant. As a regular consumer of this product it is in any case CHF 2.20 too much, it is well above all the restaurants. I won't set foot there again, to have a drink you have to go a little further down along the railway line

Very convenient location point of view thanks to the station terminus. A little wait for the first service even though there were not many customers. But with a smile, it seems like a little hitch. The beer was good.

Rude staff, deplorable service, average food and above all prohibitive prices, even for a simple coffee or hot chocolate. Too bad, because it is well located. It wants to give itself a style by offering premium places, lobster, après-ski with DJ and bottles of champagne: if you like bling-bling and if you are ready to put your hand in your pocket, this could suit you. But if you are looking for a restaurant on the slopes with tasty cuisine, fair prices and friendly service, run away and favor the other offers, there is no shortage of that. The self-service is even more to avoid - it's bad and excessively expensive.

Opinion regarding the self-service side: a scandal the likes of which I have not seen for several years at the resort. The real restaurant of the 1990s, that is to say a factory with overpriced prices and unacceptable quality of food. The pasta is overcooked and sold for 13.- per portion of plain penne. For this price we charge you 1.50.- per portion of parmesan. The stops, sold for 16.- each, are worthy of a McDonald's hamburger. Positive point, they invested in good knives to successfully cut such thin tomato slices. The fries are inedible with a taste of unfresh cooking oil. The highlight of the show is when you ask the cashier to pass on these grievances (notably the parmesan supplement) to the boss (politely I'll clarify because the poor guy can't help it) he replies that we are in the mountains and that they could have put it at 2.-. One thing is certain, me and my loved ones will boycott this establishment in the future and spread the word around us. A year later and the management of this establishment is still just as detestable. Customers kicked out of the restaurant at 11 a.m. when it is empty, these people make too much money and don't really care about the customer. Even the staff approves when we complain.

Always a super nice atmosphere for après-ski with a great DJ, the wine and the planchette are very good, and the boss, in addition to being nice, has a huge St. Bernard. Highly recommended, if that wasn't already included with my description.

What to say ? We must believe that our resort restaurateurs, making a living from tourism, have benefited from Covid aid and no longer need to work. Restaurant closed on a sunny and crowded Sunday September 10, you have to explain...

A delicious fillet of perch accompanied by a St. Gallen potato, so good (this dish is certainly not offered all the time)

Too bad for us, the restaurant was closed. Poor canteen because the food was slightly stale. On the other hand, impeccable customer service.

Summer and winter the place is very pleasant, space and a good welcome. For the meal, we chose a sandwich, prepared on the spot, and a fruit tart, excellent. Nothing to say, it was good.

It's the end of summer tourism if even at the train station there are no more restaurants. The snack bar is pitiful and the wooden stools don't make you want to come back.

Much too expensive for what it is. The beef Burger menu 20.10 for a Burger that is finished in 3 bites, a ridiculously small portion of fries and a drink. It's clearly a theft knowing that the sauce for the fries isn't even free, there are no napkins and the waitress wasn't very welcoming... In short, if you want to eat well between 2 ski slopes , avoid this restaurant.

Absolutely unfriendly service. Got there first because they were closing in 20 minutes. Then we wanted to leave but another waitress said that we could still stay. The next day: Five waitresses at the front talking and none of them paid any attention to us. We then went to the front to order and were just looked at strangely. I'm not picky but this was absolutely the unfriendly mountain restaurant I've experienced so far. We don't even want to talk about the prices...Covid rules are not being followed either

I really enjoyed the top terrace of this restaurant, in a beautiful sunny day. The food si impressive, very taste and well presented. The service is good and professional. You can find high quality wines, most French. I love it. Enjoy.
