Brezelkönig in Lugano

I was passing through Lugano and stopped to eat a quick pretzel (the first I ate) excellent product, fresh and excellent quality. Friendly staff, very helpful and quick with sales. A place I will definitely return to

In general I can say that I have been a regular customer for about 4 months although the prices, as others have said, are a bit inflated. Yesterday I took some pretzels and when I chewed one of the simple ones I heard a metallic noise. Going to check I saw a metal splinter inside the dough... I don't know how it could happen, I really don't understand. But today I'm going to the hospital for checks and I invite everyone to communicate similar events for this or other catering shops so as to prevent other people from finding themselves in the same situation. I hope I'm wrong, I hope I haven't ingested any other splinters and that this one was unique. I tried calling the store's helpline again this morning but they don't answer until 8am.

Cold and hard pretzels.!!! And furthermore, the prices displayed under the products are not the ones counted. You play on the name of the product and then sell a product at a price that is excessive compared to what is presented. We invite you to give less sugar-coated responses to these reviews and take the time to offer better products at a correct price.

Friendly and fast staff. For those who love pretzels it is ideal: there is something for all tastes.

I often stop to get the cooked ham, cheese and tomato baguette, the sad thing is that there is a slice of tomatoes in the whole baguette 😂😂 moreover they should indicate that there is also cucumber inside, someone could be allergic! !

Excellent. I suggest the butter pretzel. It's perfectly dosed and it's always a delight to eat a prezel in the morning or afternoon.

We tried the pretzels twice during our stay in Lugano and they were really delicious. We would repeat again and again! :-)

I am an FFS employee. On Sunday in uniform I went to quickly buy a sandwich. My train only had a 3 minute stop in Lugano and Chiasso on a Sunday and everything closed. through this or decided to quickly buy something in Lugano. Having chosen what I want, I had already placed a 20 franc note in advance. The Brezelkönig employee said, I get 10 percent discount and then I get the rest of 10 francs. When I told him it was a 20 franc note, he insisted it was a 10 franc note. Not having time, I had to continue my journey through a lot of noise. Date 21.3.21 at 8.30 am. In the end I paid 17 francs for a cheese sandwich. Congratulations to the employee, who insists on giving change to the customer for the next time, before placing the customer's currency in the cash register. Bitterly they lost a customer who was satisfied with the service in the past.

Whether it's for a simple coffee or a sandwich, it's always a pleasure! Attentive, kind, communicative staff, always able to put you at ease even when you've had a bad day at the office! Excellent quality, very kind, professional and attentive staff in this period of the Covid 19 pandemic, adopting all the safety devices both for themselves and for their customers. Unfortunately not at the level of the one in Via Nassa! The pretzels are cold and hard unlike the other point where they are "beaten" to give you a quality final product. For the rest, this product is still better than that of a supermarket but I wanted to underline the marked difference between one point and another not only with regards to the products but also the relationship with the customer: They are very hasty and not very appropriate in comparison... Basically I avoid it if I can. If I'm starving and I don't have a sandwich in my backpack I stop.

Unfortunately, the butter pretzels are always dry, with too little salt and too little butter. So unfortunately no tasty provisions...

Tried to sell us a cup each for 2chf. Thanks to whichever unfriendly woman was working today (2nd June 2019) has managed to lose a Brezelkönig customer for life! Well done!!
