Comis Caffè in Lugano

A change of management is underway in July 2023 with an important restructuring and relaunch project, including a market test for a network intended for the whole of Switzerland.

The food was delicious! You get bread, pasta, water/wine, a dessert, and coffee for only $14. Plus it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had.

Excellent coffee in the historic center of Lugano. Very nice especially the special coffees with chocolate, cinnamon,... There is plenty of seating inside. The staff is very fast and efficient. The interior is a little dated but clean. I recommend it for a quick break or a simple meal.

SHAME! Poor food, pre-cooked and full of oil. The only positive note was the funny and friendly waiter.

We had a very nice experience at Comis. The place is simple, with several options for the lunch menu. Main dish, drink (glass of water or wine), coffee and cake for only 14 CHF. You can't pretend a lot for the price, but it's quite good. The waitress is nice and friendly, always paying attention to the customer. I'd go again.

Avoid lunch... Although attractive in the 14CHF offer for a fixed menu....they are pre-cooked foods (potentially also good such as the 2 types of lasagne) but overly seasoned I took a spelled salad with vegetables and my child a simple pasta with sauce... inedible. And the answer was "ma'am, when you cook a little oil comes out" A little...not half a liter!!! I preferred NOT to insist!!!!! I'm not saying don't charge me for the dishes but at least give me a little discount to save face Definitely NEVER AGAIN
