Brown Bull is the perfect stop if you live in Bulle or are visiting the nearby towns in Switzerland. The atmosphere is very nice and the service top notch. My wife and I were looking for something good yet budget-friendly and we found it there. We ordered a raclette burguer with fries and the biggest hot dog i've seen in my life. All the food tasted amazing and our server, Erika, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Definitely recommend this spot!

The hot dogs at home are killer

If you like Burgers, you have to try them! After a big sports workout, there's nothing like a good Burger with extra meat, it's good and generously prepared. Plus, the fries are really good! Be careful not to overuse them, you may well smell them during your next run! Very good service from a charming lady with a much appreciated sense of humor, we recommend it for a good cheat meal. Don't forget to exercise! ;)

The wait is overkill! More than 30 minutes just for 2 Burgers. The bacon supplement is too expensive for the quantity. When I ask for info on Burgers the 3 times she tells me "I'll ask" and she comes back 5 minutes later. The fries and the 2 burgers were very good.

To flee ! We ordered 2 burgers and found the meat frozen a few centimeters long. The meat was tough (it's not ground steak but soles) and above all the waiter didn't even ask us for cooking, it was already going badly in terms of the order. We are in Switzerland, it is the country of cows so why serve a very poor quality frozen steak?! In addition, the ingredients are not of gourmet quality as the name of the restaurant suggests. All the positive comments are incomprehensible about this restaurant which does not even deserve one star! Extremely disappointed…… To respond to the owner: So the world is turned upside down, firstly you don't check the quality of your goods upon receipt. Because if there is a supplier problem, why still sell them to your customers and not ask for a product return? Furthermore, excuse me but it was not ground meat that we had in the hamburgers but compacted and above all frozen meat. Then, you should think about telling your employees to ask for meat to be cooked, otherwise I call it fast food. I remind you that you used the term “gastronomy” in the name of your restaurant and, quite frankly, we are extremely far from it. Finally, ooooh but how nice of you to have offered us a carafe of tap water! In almost all countries in Europe water is free and I find it lamentable to make a customer pay for tap water. I reiterate my negative opinion on your restaurant which absolutely does not live up to your name.

Not a great place. 13 chf for a “vegan bowl” got me a couple of falafel balls and French fries. no veggies or anything else included (and barely any sauce, a very small cup of guacamole on the side)

The five of us arrived at 3 p.m. and were treated to outstanding service and top-class burgers. The desserts afterwards were so delicious, even if we were already full. Be sure to try it again 😜

We had 1 hot dog, 1 burger and cheddar fries. The hot dog, nothing to say, was really good with a good sauce. The fries were also good with melted cheddar on top. On the other hand, the burger... a very small frozen meat, barely 1cm thick, we were really left hungry... Otherwise the service was good and the decor is quite nice.

The goal is successful, a very good burger in this case. Good service, very warm welcome and a good homemade cold tea.

Very disappointed with the quality of the hot dog. We ordered two Gruyere hot dogs, but couldn't find cheese anywhere. In addition, the veal sausage was poorly cooked and the hot dog sauce was industrial and had absolutely no taste. Very disappointed with a restaurant that has “gastronomy” in its name.

Quite disappointed with the so-called "gastro". There was no gruyere at all in the gruyere hot dog, the tartar sauce has no taste, absolutely not worth the price...

Everything is industrial, nothing is homemade... Even the avocado is industrial... too bad for a new "restaurant" or should I say "fast food"

2 stars for the friendly atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. For the rest, I expected to eat a burger with good meat and good ingredients. Instead, a frozen ground beef crumble and no other ingredients that stand out. The fries are also industrial. For the same price, there are burgers with better ingredients. The price seems low at first, but that's only because the fries are charged separately. A large portion of fries is enough for 3 people. In conclusion, this place should be called "Snack de la gare" rather than "Brown Bull Gastronomy". There is no gastronomy and the name suggests that we would at least be entitled to quality meat.
