Buddha lounge experience lugano in Lugano

Bad, really bad! I ordered through smood a box for 4 people for CHF 100 of rolls, hossomaki, uramachi and sashimi, they talk about tuna, salmon, prawn and crab, I also took a portion of steamed prawn ravioli, 2 edamame, 2 auks, 4 Coca Cola Without wanting to argue about the 35 minute delay, I was given a box of salmon only, rolls all the same, hossomaki all the same, uramaki all the same, nighiri all the same, without sashimi, the ravioli were not in my bag, neither were the drinks, yet it was all on the receipt that I paid in full and in advance!!! They brought the box back to me, the rolls were all broken, not at all compact, they couldn't take them and they opened immediately, this time almost everything was seasoned with tuna, unfortunately we threw away half the box and CHF 140!! the ravioli were never delivered but obviously they were cashed in, in short, the worst experience of my life, never again! I wouldn't recommend it to the person I hate most!

Definitely to avoid... I ate the worst sushi of my life in this place and overpaid... it's not worth it!

My partner and I ordered takeaway: a ramen, a poké, a portion of tuna hosomaki and the shrimp ravioli. The raw fish arrived smelly and with a terrible appearance... Needless to say, it was not eaten to avoid the risk of food poisoning. The tuna had a color tending towards dark brown almost black (see photo), an indication of little freshness. I tried to eat the prawn ravioli even though it didn't look inviting, but when I bit into the first ravioli, I had to spit it out due to the rancid taste in my mouth that remained after some time. I'm not used to eating in 3 Michelin star restaurants, but I think I've never tried such a poor quality restaurant in my life! Needless to say, three out of four portions ended up in the bin (reluctantly) so as not to have to risk their health. NEVER AGAIN!

This place is terrible. At first it's okay but when they brought the tuna the sushi looked like sperma and it tasted disgusting. And the prize, what is that? You think your place is the best but it isn't. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS DISGUSTING PLACE!

Very good sushi. Excellent quantity. I ordered online at 7.18pm. The delivery time was max. 45 minutes. At 8.25pm, or after 1 hour and 10 minutes, I call in a polite and friendly manner to understand if my order has actually left. They respond to me in a manner that is anything but kind and friendly, telling me that I have to wait and dismissing me with a "good evening. Finally at 8.47pm, or after 1 and a half hours, dinner finally arrived. The driver, a very polite and nice person, apologized a thousand times for the delay, even though it wasn't even his fault!

6 of us came to have dinner at this place which has a varied menu, excellent food and friendly staff. The sore point was the live music. Too loud we couldn't hear the waiters or have a chat, it was deafening.

I had a great time with my company of friends. Friendly, professional and above all super helpful staff! A special round of applause and thanks to Lisa and Manuele. Over the top dinner. If you are from Lugano and not only you must come here!!!

The place is warm and welcoming, an excellent location for going to get drunk in the nightclub just next door, the food is good, the prices are high if you live in Italy but normal if you work in Switzerland, a few small misunderstandings at the time of payment due to an oversight but nothing major which I recommend for birthday dinners or evenings

A welcoming, fun and, above all, quality place. The all you can eat offer for both sushi and chinoise is amazing. If this still isn't enough for you, the staff does an excellent job, not to mention that they are all nicer than the other.

Even though I live in the area, for the first time I noticed the all-you-can-eat offer of the place. Having tried this formula several times in the nearby peninsula, I became intrigued. The cost of 33.- for lunch was also interesting (a pizza plus drink in Lugano easily exceeds 20.- and other sushi places offer 8 uromaki pieces for 16.-). I then tested the offer. The approach is different than usual. It is the chef who prepares the dishes that arrive. They ask if there are allergies or other particularities and then we are surprised. Well I found the result brilliant! Good dishes, well presented. Tender salmon. From the second course they ask if there is any particular wish. However, everything was very good. The place has a particular style and perhaps the details and furnishings deserve an update. However, the usual clientele is mainly young and perhaps less demanding on these aspects. For our latitudes, however, the value for money is decidedly excellent. To be tested at dinner time with the fullest room.

We had a very good time at the Buddha Lounge. The all-you-can-eat sushi offered a broad variety, served as long as you wish, and tasted very fresh! The team was very friendly and the restaurant has a nice backyard!

Different sushi all you can eat concept than usual, but still very tasty! You get lovingly prepared platters with various sushi variations. Beforehand, you will be asked about possible allergies. As soon as your plate is empty, you will be asked if you want the next round. Requests are also accepted. The service was very friendly and helpful. Communication in English was no problem at all.

Ordered at 8.50pm and it arrived at my house at 10.40pm, almost 2 hours of waiting for 3 miserable dishes that I didn't even finish. Terrible service, also sorry for the delivery rider who was mortified by what happened even though it wasn't his fault.

All you can eat sushi for 33 fr. really very good! It works like this: the chef chooses what to prepare for you, which is nice anyway since it adds variety. Advise.

Terrible place and terrible service, I'm allergic to salmon and they didn't let me choose the sushi I wanted but necessarily at the chef's choice, I was forced to get up and leave.

The external environment is not well looked after, the sofas are unfortunately a little dirty and some plexiglass dividers are broken while the inside is a little dark and cramped. For the aperitif you pay for your drink (in my case a coke for 5fr.) and you also have a buffet including poor quality fried sushi and average pizzas and focaccias. The staff was friendly but I wouldn't return.

I ordered a small box of rolls and sashimi which arrived shortly after with delivery. A few hours later I spent the night in the bathroom with food poisoning. Absolutely not recommended!

Absolutely great!!! Very satisfied with my dinner. We had the beef and chicken fajitas. Generous quantities and a real treat. I will definitely be back!

Nice bar-restaurant. A little dark, too disco-like. Very good and substantial aperitifs.

First time. Came for all you can eat sushi. As a first impression I found it rather chaotic. They put us at a table for two but it was really small and the food came on a raised metal pedestal where they placed the plate. Negative points: space, chaos, I received a dirty glass twice. Pros: Pretty quick in serving, good food. Will I return?....not by my spontaneous choice but only if the company insistently asks for it.

Terrible service, after 4 phone calls, a non-working website and two hours of waiting, we did not receive the home order as we were unable to dine. Unprofessional and serious staff, I recommend changing jobs if between phone calls and the internet you are not able to do your job

Beautiful buddha experience with all you want sushi. But the meat is also worth trying. I'll be back soon.
