Great place with local food, great view and very friendly staff!

Pleasant atmosphere, affordable daily menu.

“French cuisine with Swiss products” in the words of the waiter. It was good, delicious, well presented and with attentive service and an incredible view of the lake, the Rhône valley, Montreux and the Chillon castle. All at reasonable prices. We loved it and we will definitely come back.

It's really beautiful there. The food is very good, there was wild hunting deer steak with vegetables and spelled spaezli, just great. The conditions were very attentive and pleasant, we felt very comfortable. So the Buffet de la Gare is really highly recommended with a great view of Lake Geneva. Exceptional and refined cuisine, reflection of a motivated chef! An exceptional view of Chablais and Lake Geneva. Quality service and atmosphere, there are even regular concerts. The menus change regularly, hunting in autumn is worth the detour! Go there by train, the view is dizzying.

The Buffet de la gare is a must-see place in Glion. The staff and service are perfect. The cuisine is refined and creative with fresh, local products. I recommend going there on Saturday evening for a musical and festive atmosphere.

When reserving the table over the phone, my wife made it clear that she was celiac and that she needed gluten-free bread. Before even ordering the aperitif, the waiter announced to us in a haughty tone that there will only be one gluten-free roll with the beef tartar at CHF 34.00, and that my wife will not be allowed to more than just one gluten-free bun, given that there could be other celiac people on the planet. There would be a small chance of perhaps having a second roll - gluten-free and homemade - for an extra CHF 3.00, we'll have to see... In addition, the waiter helped us to pronounce the word celiac better, which not only deprived us of the rest of our good pre-aperitif mood, but also gave us an urgent desire to get out of there as quickly as possible. So we can't judge the quality of the dishes, and we never will!

I did my booking well in advance over the phone, i still have my call record and you accordingly set up the table for 17. The only change was that we were 18 instead of 17. We don't expect you to take care of our table all the time, but you were too busy.

We discovered this charming establishment during a birthday meal. A tastefully composed menu, subtle cuisine with fresh seasonal ingredients, a beautiful wine list, a friendly team.

It's simple appearance belies the treasures of this hidden gastronomic gem. Creative starters and main courses and delicious desserts all featuring quality ingredients and healthy choices - not least wholemeal bread, not always easy to find in Switzerland. Next to the station but tranquil and with stunning views. Recommended.

Excellent local cuisine and the drinks menu is also local. Clean menu and contains vegetarian options. Very welcoming and attentive service in a magnificent setting with a view of Lake Geneva and a beautiful sunset. In short, the food is very good and the value for money is good. I will return there and I highly recommend this address not to be missed!

Too expensive for overcooked and uninteresting food and what's more, the exorbitant bill. The welcome is very good but the food is below average.

A really nice place to have coffee and see the view of Montreux and Lake Geneva. The ice cream is fantastic, especially the Rum&Raisin. Had a relaxing time here.

My wife and I were visiting Montreaux on our honeymoon. This restaurant was the best place we have been in Switzerland. The views were indescribable and the staff were fantastic. Beer selection was awesome too. Honestly could have spent hours drinking and taking in the sights here and we will for sure go back. You have to see this place!

Convenient location just next to the train station and funicular. Lovely place with amazing views, live music and very good service. The waitress gave us excellent advices on visiting Haut de Caux and other places around.

The welcome matches the view of the lake from this pretty terrace in Glion, at the arrival of the funicular from Territet or the train from Montreux. Local products are on the menu for very original recipes and you feel like you're on vacation with these two friendly cooks. Thanks also to their server who was so pleasant and fun.

A very good restaurant with “a dream view”! The staff is very welcoming and the cuisine is top-of-the-range with recipes that are both original and very tasty! Concerts are organized there regularly.

Very good service, a bottle of water is brought to the table after you sit down. They actually wanted to close the restaurant, but they opened it again for us. I had Octopussy, mhhh, excellent! We'd love to come back.

What a lovely place! Don’t let the looks of the exterior mislead you. It’s about 5 min drive from Chateau de Chillon or you can take the tram up to Glion. The cuisine is very modern, making use of seasonal and modern ingredients. They whip up traditional dishes with a modern, delightful twist. Views over the lake and Sunset are spectacular. Staff is wonderful and they have very good local wines. Best dinner we had so far in the region!

The menu announcing a kitchen open from 11:30 a.m., we went up from Territet to eat before coming back down to work at 1 p.m. After being seated, the waiter shows us the menu and announces that he will take our order in 30 minutes! We tell him that in this case we will not have time to eat and will only have an aperitif. He tells us that to eat quickly, there are MC Do, KFC or Burger King! I hope the boss appreciates what he says...it's easy to make a card with high-end prices, but it's much more difficult to live up to your work...

Good food, well done, very fancy though - my English vocabulary sometimes proved too small.

Every time I'm here, I enjoy the wonderful and relaxed atmosphere, the particularly delicious food with local products and the very friendly 3 hosts and, last but not least, the view of Lake Geneva and the surrounding area. Even in stressful situations when there is a lot going on, they always have a smile. Now in summer, there is a concert every weekend when the weather is dry. It's just wonderful! I always enjoy coming back!

Living in Montreux, I love the station buffet. The food is very good, and we always have excellent service.... Until tonight. We wanted to have a drink when the storm arrived, while we waited for our train. The waitress in charge did not welcome us very well. Still standing we were treated to “do you know what you want?” quite dry. I wanted to see the menu, again she seemed annoyed by my request... until the final order was taken she looked down on me. In short, very unpleasant waitress, who made us feel uncomfortable. You have to change jobs if the service does not suit you... Thanks all the same to Bertrand for his kindness and his smile!

Then restaurant was a really great surprise. We went accidentally there and excellent food and super friendly service. The daily menu was gorgeous and the beef meet dish amazing meet quality. Also starters and deserts were amazing. Definitely a place to go.
