We stopped there on the way back, exhausted from our walk. We just had a drink there (reasonable prices) But it is possible to eat fondue there! Typical atmosphere

The real alpine chalet refreshment bar in the canton of Fribourg. The oldest historically! Guaranteed typical, a wonderful place, pastures, view, sunset. The service is always very friendly by motivated young people under the eye of the owner who cooks traditional summer dishes very well in the mountain pastures. The fondue and especially the Vacherin is the best in the world, made with local cheeses. Le gros plané is the place I would take anyone to show them real gruyere! Well done to them for maintaining this chalet like this.

In my opinion, the best alpine refreshment bar in all of Gruyère! Excellent fondue, whether half-half or pure Vacherin (to be taken with potatoes). In addition, for digestion, there is no shortage of hikes departing from this refreshment bar, such as the Plan Francey for short walkers, or the Moléson for the more sporty. Always a pleasure to be welcomed there by the friendly staff. I highly recommend if you are passing through the green Gruyère!

I was delighted by the atmosphere created by the owners. The traditional fondue tasted amazing. And I am pretty sure You won’t regret visiting this restaurant- the view is worth to see! Ps. don’t forget to make reservation.

I recommend this bar. A beautiful menu, lots of choice, a ham of rare delicacy with its accompaniments without forgetting the excellent cheese crust
