Buvette La Vare in Bex

What hospitality at this cabin! everything neat. It is not modern like the other cabins we have slept in, but that is what makes this cabin so unique. One can choose to sleep in the room where the beds are made of straw, how cool. We liked that the most. Part of the group slept in the other room where the mattresses are located. We were invited to have a drink together as a welcome. Afterwards we had a nice meal. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast and were provided with a delicious packed lunch. Really worth visiting and staying overnight.

We've been doing the pre-opening for 2 years now, Gérald and Anita are absolutely adorable, you absolutely have to go and meet them! We are coming back this summer without fail to take advantage of finishing late and getting up early 😉 thank you Gérald

A beautiful setting with friendly hosts. We stopped on a whim while hiking from Plan Neve to l'Argentine. I'm not used to have cafes tucked away along mountain trails so it was a welcome surprise! The coffee had just enough kick to keep us trekking!

An exceptional setting! And the dishes are very good and homemade!

I was there in June and so were many others. After more than four hours of hiking in the sweltering heat in front of closed doors, or is the buvette no longer there?
