Enjoyable Skiing Experience at Laax Laax is a truly beautiful ski resort with a lot to offer. It boasts fantastic facilities including a great fun park, a well-designed pro park, and a beginner-friendly park. For convenience, there are tow lifts at two smaller parks, while the larger P60 park features a chairlift and a small lift after the halfpipe. The pistes on the glacier are simply stunning and are meticulously groomed. However, the weather can change rapidly, and occasionally skiers may find themselves in a cloud, limiting visibility. But when the weather is clear, it's truly a dream come true. Compared to Austria, Laax tends to be less crowded, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for skiing. In terms of pricing, a ski pass costs around 110 Swiss francs, as the ski card needs to be purchased and there's no deposit refund since the card cannot be returned. For those with a lift ticket, a day on the slopes costs approximately 100 francs per day, If you don't buy a weekly or seasonal tariff. Access to the mountain is convenient, with three valley stations providing access to the Galaaaxy mainstation. Overall, Laax offers an enjoyable skiing experience with a variety of slopes and amenities to suit skiers of all levels. Laax also offers the convenience of its own app, making it easier for visitors to access information about the resort, including lift status, weather updates, trail maps, and even real-time updates on events and activities happening in the area. This handy tool adds an extra layer of convenience to the overall skiing experience at Laax, ensuring visitors can make the most out of their time on the mountain.

Bad value for money, I am actually surprised that it has so many good reviews! If you love free riding and love snow parks, then ignore my review, but if you are simply looking for a nice variety of prepared pistes for a ski holiday, this is for you. It is extremely pricey for what it offers: - long queues (I was there mid March!) - pistes not well prepared - inconsistent marking of the pistes: you either need to walk on very flat blue runs or some blue runs are even steeper and more difficult than reds (?) -it takes a long long time to go from one side of the resort to another (long queues plus old infrastructure) - the Vorab gondola is so old that every time I took it George Michael would appear in my mind and start signing "Last Christmas", this is how old that gondola feels (from 1978 to be exact). - Dynamic prices are very opaque For approx. 100CHF a day pass I would expect much much better - would not complain if the forfait would be cheaper/reasonable. Here are the few nice things: - Landscape is extremely beautiful. Would love to come back in summer for hiking - App is fantastic, they are at the forefront in this sense - you can order food, tickets, everything. - The LAAX resort (Rocksresort, Restaurants, etc) is very well organized, practical and nice - just be aware that the whole resort caters an international audience so it is not very typical Swiss. Overall, I think LAAX might only make sense if you travel from abroad so you want close to the airport, where you can communicate in English and look for a Après-Ski vibe - however, there are so many more nicer resorts in Switzerland that I can only understand its hype to the excellent marketing efforts of the LAAX team. A tourist trap in my opinion.

Top ski area. From good slopes, to a great fun park, to a variety of off-piste options, an absolutely diverse area. Some of the lifts are quite old models/several drag lifts/gondola with little seating, which surprised me a lot given the ticket price of over 100 francs, but they are well maintained, so it's okay. Beautiful ski area and many activities possible. But the customer service when pre-booked ski tickets are canceled early due to an injury (a medical certificate is available) is, in my opinion, disgraceful. We didn't ask for any money back, just a credit so that we could buy ski tickets again on another visit or use the Laax app in the restaurants connected to it. This is not possible. Money was only returned for the sick person. The rest of the family has to pay, despite the fact that the ski tickets were not used. I'm sure the ski tickets will still be resold by the provider elsewhere. I find this to be sad customer service. A pity!!!

The pricing policy is a disgrace. The lift tickets are auctioned off, in the last few days they have been worth over €100 per day. Even with multi-day tickets it is completely opaque. The fourth day can be more expensive with a multi-day ticket than if you buy a day ticket. As long as this pricing policy exists, you should boycott the Flims ski area. I'm never going there again. I want to be fair: the ski area is beautiful and the waiting times are usually short. Only the prices are outrageous.

A very nice ski area, we went tobogganing from Germany on February 10th and February 11th, everything was great on February 10th, then we decided and went again on February 11th, everything was fine, we have 1/2 day tickets for tobogganing Bought and rented 3 toboggans for 4 adults and a child. Unfortunately, after an hour, around 1 p.m., something broke on the cable car and we could no longer go up to the toboggan run. You can imagine how the son reacted and that he must have been sad I probably won't mention it again. I can understand that the technology goes on strike, but what I can't understand is that we didn't get any of what we paid back. I asked very politely at the checkout downstairs if we didn't get any of what we paid back We practically only drove for about an hour and not half the day because of a problem with the cable car, the answer from the cashier was we're sorry and that was it

As a Colorado (U.S.) native, I'm not going to say that the skiing/ snowboarding was great (very packed, icy terrain & thats why I say 4 stars) 😅 but the views more than made up for that. We also just happened to go the weekend of the final smowboarding qualifier for the '22 Olympics, so the atmosphere was AWESOME! I'm not sure if it was a special occasion or its always a party, but the building at the top of the mountain was such a DOPE vibe with a DJ and absolutely amazing sound system 🙌 The weather just happen to be very warm & sunny, so our favorite part was drinking a beer and listening to great music, soaking up sunshine & enjoying the breathtaking views. It was the best part of our Switzerland 🥰. I can honestly say that we'd come back to Laax if we get another chance to visit 🇨🇭 P.S. The first time in this ski resort. Friday 07.04 we went skiing and the day was fine even if almost all blue tracks are push, ride, push, ride and push as they don’t have much slope. (By the way from the valley you need at least 2 skilift to go up +- 20min) Then in the afternoon the weather got cloudy and we decided to go back following the one blue track which was open in every website and chart, but suddenly at one point the track ended on a very slopy and bumpy difficult red one (experienced skier told us that was hard) as we ask people working on the lift they said the blue was open but can not be used because no snow on it and the only way was to go back to the top and coming down from the other side following another blue track and so we did. Once at the top visibility was reduced to 1,5m and snow storm, we kindly ask the people working there if there is another way or if they could help us as as beginners was really not cool but the answer was not cooperative , we had to ski down no other way and no willing in help so we went down again but due to poor visibility and poor signalisation (track crossing are not marked) we arrived back to difficult slopes so we had no other choice so we took that and finally we made it back. The day after 08.04 the weather was bad again so they closed some skilifts, leaving only open lifts for hard slopes and freestyle parks and only very few for beginnes as weather was bad. We then asked kindly if it was possible to get refund on the skipass for the day as we couldn’t skii (65chf/person) but again not costumer friendly answer ( their politicy says NO REFUNDS or better only if you had an accident). Of course the resort is not responsable for the weather but lack of information as the slope was marked as open even if not, no friendly nor helpful workers, the blue slopes are sometimes uphill so you have to push up instead of skiing down made us decide that this was first and last time in the resort.

I stopped at 10:00 and took the gondola down to the valley station. There is absolutely no understanding that you pay the full price and 2/3 is blocked. Bad luck is the answer to the info. If you like things big, you're in good hands here! Almost all of them have efficient transport systems and an almost unmanageable number of slopes of all levels of difficulty. Slopes are perfectly groomed and generously wide in many places (including the somewhat narrower valley runs). Snow guaranteed thanks to snowmaking systems and the altitude of the area. Many connection options are possible, so you'll never get bored. There's always a combination to try out that you've never tried before... Disadvantages (still 5* rating): Because of its proximity to Zurich, there are a lot of visitors, especially on nice weekends, and the Weisse Arena is definitely not one of the cheapest ski areas. But if you buy tickets in advance with the dynamic prices, you can get fairly reasonable daily prices.

+ excellent terrains for skiing, beautiful nature - high "DYNAMICS" prices (getting more expensive for example with good weather but you must pay full high price even if half the resort is closed) ... waiting time is high (you can pay EXTRA for "Blue line" special corridor to get ahead of the queue ... THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR PHILOSOPHY

In my opinion, with such expensive ski tickets, the slopes should always be done if it doesn't snow the night before. Unfortunately, this is often not the case, not even on a Saturday when there is full activity...

Station with great potential. However, remarks based on one day on 01/29/2022 - charging a full price for a package when 1/4 - 1/3 of the station is closed is abusive. - pretexting the closure of a large part of the resort because of the wind when there is not a bit of wind at altitude is making fun of the world (rather a lack of snow) - having different closing times depending on the chairlift is quite absurd, as is closing the chairlifts at the top of the station first, which limits the capacity to switch from one side of the valley to the other, at the end of day is not very logical - putting blue lines at +25pct of the already excessively expensive basic package when a large part of the station is unavailable and the queues are long reinforces the feeling of being taken for a pigeon.

I have been in Laax since 1972 when I was 2 years old. But now I have to get rid of this. I know we live in the 21st century, but the fact that I have to pay with an app and Twint everywhere and that in person is no longer possible is something that loses even more of my joy. There are Swiss ski areas that can do this very differently, even in Corona times. Where is the hoe? Saving on professional staff? Convenience? Reto Gurtner Mass processing really shouldn't be the goal. Grabbing everything and then the inability to handle it with charm, love, kindness.?! Sorry but sooo sheep for the expensive but top located ski area that we would have great respect for.

VERY expensive! The food in Laax and Flims is overly expensive. They charge for normal food literally usury prices. The slopes are excellent in terms of level and you can easily cross the whole area. We stayed at the Rocket resort. Great accommodation and close to the elevator up. The elevators are modern and well equipped. What you might also expect from the prices. During our stay we did experience every kind of weather condition. We had days of kaiserwetter, perfect for lunch outside. However, we also experienced horror days with strong winds with heavy snow showers and dense fog. Temperature was 2 to 5 degrees Celsius on a sunny day. On a cloudy day -10 to -20 degrees Celsius. Conclusion: nice area, but expensive.

If you love to ski/snowboard this is the place for you. LAAX is a resort which has a lot to offer, nice long runs and fast lifts. I would give it 5 stars for snowboading, 1 star for service and waiting times. However, if you hate to wait, avoid this place and go to some smaller resort. I have been here 5 times this year, and every time, there were waiting times everywhere. Getting on the lift at the bottom: 60 minutes. Getting inside the restaurant: 30 minutes. Ordering food and waiting for it: 1 hour (last time it took 45 to get our drinks!). So it seems like you pay to wait instead of ski. Also the price politic of the ski resort is strange. You want a come in the afternoon and ski one and a half days? Better buy a 2-day ticket because it's cheaper! I love coming here, but i hate to wait, and will have to think about finding a new place to go boardin' at.

Ideal ski resort for all levels. Very simple and accessible blue slopes for those who are just starting out in winter sports, there are also more complicated slopes for those who have an intermediate or advanced level. The quality of the snow is perfect, however the lifts and chairlifts are not state-of-the-art, so a lot of time is lost going up again. It is relatively close to Zurich, it can be reached by car in less than two hours.

Catastrophic conditions and quality slopes at a hefty full price. 98 of the 224km of pistes are open and of the 98km, many of the pistes are very poorly, irregularly or even not groomed at all. So the skiers and boarders cavort around here on the few usable runs and the slopes are ready in the mornings, a disaster and completely worn out. Many lifts don't run at all or only rarely, which means that during the pandemic there are a lot of people crowding around the few that are open. All of this is topped off by the dynamic prices of day tickets and multi-day tickets. Rip off. That was the first and last time Flims Laax Falera and probably the last time skiing in Switzerland.

Laax Flims Falera is a really beautiful ski area! Starting with parking. You almost step out of the car into the gondola in Laax where the gondola holds around 120 people!! On almost 250 kilometers of slopes you can get almost everything an athlete's heart desires! The versatility of the slopes is really fun! If the valley run at Foppa isn't open, it's not worth going to the other side, but the other 50-60 slopes are more than enough anyway. However, the ski area is less recommended for beginners because you will probably pay a lot more than necessary because you won't be able to do everything if you aren't fast enough. My favorite run was the valley run to Flims!! Try it out!

Generally nice ski area. But it's not unusual to wait at the train station in the morning for over an hour before you get to the mountain. Plus a day ticket (wait for 1 hour at the lift) for 91 CHF (dynamic pricing) with only approx. 50% of the slopes open and 5 lifts not open -> everyone can evaluate the price-performance for themselves...
