Café Arlesheim - Confiserie Brändli in Arlesheim

We drank mineral water and ate something small. We noticed that the bill was too expensive. Anything can happen, but I find it a disgrace that the waiter's daughter then claims she is convinced the man had eaten another piece of cake. Even apologizing is no longer of any use. We actually wanted to plan a senior trip followed by a meal. We won't be using this coffee anymore Visit.

Review: The Sachertorte was delicious, as was the homemade drinking chocolate with lactose-free milk. Although the café was quite full, which was reflected in the stressed-looking service staff and some forgotten orders, this wasn't a problem for us.

The cappucino for 6.10 is over the top. The coffee is run of the mill and the milk foam is extremely coarse, collapses immediately, the milk is so hot that I burnt myself. The Cofiserie is certainly top notch, but coffee & cappucino no thanks. Never again, for SFr. 6.10!!!

A bit disappointing. ...too strong concentrated lemon taste and way too sweet. It looks better than it tastes.

For me personally, I would once again claim that someone has no experience in gastronomy or has only taken a crash course. A law determines how food and drinks are to be declared. A chailatte is not a syrupy drink. We had to wait a long time for service, the almond tart with lemon was very dry, sweet and the lemon cream already had a dried skin. Price-performance...not fulfilled

Highly recommended for a solid coffee with wonderful patisserie and chocolates. There are also small meals and the opportunity to buy the famous chocolate products to give as gifts. The prices are rather a bit high.

I've been there many times and everything was okay, but today's sausage path was really not good, but I didn't want to complain, but I will absolutely never eat it there again. The puff pastry was very firm and not flaky and the filling had a strange taste. Otherwise this shop has really great food.

What a friendly atmosphere. Coffee and luggage were great as well as the friendly staff. A big bonus was that even our four-legged friend was welcome in the rainy weather.

You can drink a very good chocolaty hot chocolate here :) However, the prices are quite high.

The coffee is not exceptional but the baked goods are good and delicious. Unfortunately, the service staff are not able to serve you in a friendly manner and like to let you sit for 30-40 minutes before they greet you. Very unfortunate. That gives the price a very bad taste.

Cappuccino for + 6.- CHF is a lot for a café outside of Basel! Sometimes I don't even pay that much in Basel City. Cozy terrace, nice in the town.

Good pastry, but overpriced for drinks and the new hired staff are incompetent and rude. Those who were nice and competent were almost all fired. In addition, one of the waitresses does not wear a mask, she supposedly has a medical certificate. In this case, she just has to stay in the kitchen and not serve the customers especially since there is now covid delta.

Always top!!! There is still room for improvement among the service employees.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. I find it almost an impertinence to charge CHF 5.80 (33cl) for a mineral water. Unfortunately we couldn't try the delicacies because they were already sold out. I had to wait 22 minutes for our two coffees and mineral water. Guests who arrived after us received their orders first.

very nice service. We were in the cafe around 3 p.m. and the selection of patisserie was unfortunately already limited... I decided on lemon tarts - unfortunately it was too stiff, too much gelatine...

Excellent products! Only the staff are often on each other's toes. It takes too long before you can pay for your consumption. Lots of employees but not enough efficiency. So, if you improve that, everything will be great

It's always SUPER Nice service here. Enjoyed whiskey truffle cuts, was very excellent. There is very good coffee here. And very tasty patisserie.

Friendly staff and fine creations. They have great sandwiches and the best pain au chocolat in the region! Sometimes waiting times are a little longer and unfortunately the location is not quite as high quality/maintained as the prices suggest.

Nice little cafe in the heart of Arlesheim. In the quiet town center, this cafe invites you to linger with coffee, cake and ice cream. The service is quick and very friendly. The ice cream and cakes on offer are of high quality and the prices are local. We recommend . Lovely again
