Café Bar La Piazza in Chavannes-près-Renens

Pleasant place for an aperitif. Didn't taste the cuisine

after ordering coffees and hot chocolates on the terrace, the waitress waved at me from inside the bar to ask me to come and get the drinks inside, moreover, when coming to serve us, the aggressive waitress complained about having to serve us on the terrace and spoke to us in a very unpleasant tone, in a disrespectful manner. Madame Ramon has no sense of respect and service, she is clearly not suited to this type of job. We will never set foot in this establishment again which stinks of scum, as evidenced by this bar employee and her undeniable lack of competence. I would like to point out that the words “bar service” are not displayed anywhere. I strongly advise against this establishment, which is marred by the quality of service and by disrespectful employees.

Incredible super delicious PIZZA 🍕 & SALADS 🥗. Renens lowest prices and remarkable quality $. A discovery on the square of the Renens train station. Exquisite pizzas of 33 cm in diameter and calzones (as in the photo). Truly delicious large salads. Quality ingredients, the feta is delicious and everything else too. The pizza dough is excellent, the tomato sauce is not acidic, the cooking is really well done. Wide choice for only 10chf a pizza. Large salads with tuna or feta, like the one you see in the picture here, fresh and delicious for only 8chf. Compliments to the cook! The pizzeria is very large and also has tables outside, but mostly men sit outside to smoke. Environment frequented mainly by men and some women. The waitresses are always changing and some of them are nice and some are nasty. I focus on good food, so that's not a problem for me. Inside the pizzeria there is always music, very pleasant. Families, even with children, and singles find a perfect place in this pizzeria. Even people waiting for the train to leave in an hour will be able to have their meal there. The cook is very quick. The bathrooms are very spacious and wheelchair users have the space they want, and they are also very clean. I would really recommend La Piazza!

Since my last visit, the price of pizza has increased by 40%. She was pretty good. On the other hand, the service still leaves much to be desired. I don't think I'll go back there.

The waitress is dishonest and racist. If you are not well dressed or your skin color is black, you are not allowed to drink there according to her. The most racist bar I've ever been to.

Ordered via Uber Eats. One of the best pizzas ever eaten! Crispy dough, excellent mozzarella and quality seafood, especially large, delicious shrimp! A superb discovery!
