Café Bijou in Hochdorf

You have to pay in cash, if you are not a resident and do not have their currency.........

Unfortunately cash only, no debit or credit cards or Google Pay. A deduction for this. I think this is no longer relevant. Had to get extra cash.

Very friendly service and good lunch menu.

I had to wait in Hochdorf for an on-call birth photography session and chose Cafe Bijou. I was there almost all day and was also allowed to use electricity for my laptop. I'm really excited, the coffees are great, the staff was very accommodating & the lunch menu was very tasty. I'm always on the go looking for good cafes and this cute little cafe is actually a gem. Thank you very much!

It's unbelievable how the serving daughter behaves so badly Only after 10 minutes there is no sugar at the café then we want to pay and have to wait another 10 minutes just because the serving daughter is talking to other guests about her dirty private life.

You feel like you've been transported back to old times! There is a really hearty lunch menu and uncomplicated, very friendly service! The last time I had such a good time was with my grandmother! You wouldn't expect that from the outside. That's why you should definitely stop off directly on the main street. There are also parking spaces on the street.

We left again after 10 minutes because the service lady preferred to talk to the guests at the bar rather than serve us!! We've never experienced anything like that and not being served!!
