Café Confiserie Rohr in Schaffhausen

I have bought the chocolate summit twice so far. That's what I call a real CHOCOLATE summit, which actually has chocolate in it from start to finish, really delicious 👍👍 Unfortunately, I once got a latte macchiato with sour milk, so you should really make sure that the milk is fresh 👎

If you're in Schaffhausen, then a visit to Café Rohr is simply a must!

Fab experience. Lovely staff. Very obliging. Delicious cakes. Right in the centre of Schaffhausen town. There is lovely seating upstairs where you can people watch and a lovely view of the church or there is outdoor seating where you can relax with an enjoyable warm drink accompanied by a delicious cake or treat and watch the world go by. There are also savoury options available. I love this ‘coffee venue ‘ on a Saturday when the local farmers market is on and you can do your fresh fruit and vegetables shopping and then grab a warm drink to heat you up (in the winter months ).

Nice, small old town cafeteria, while I'm nearby Cler Bank opening or waiting time I like to have a drink in a cafe or after something nice, I have always said goodbye with satisfaction.

Polite, quick service. Fine bakery products. Cozy on the 1st floor. A minus for me is that it is tight, maybe 1-2 tables less and it would feel more spacious.

My mother and I have been coming to this cafe for years and always receive friendly service :-) On Saturdays it is always very crowded and it can happen that you have to wait 2 minutes longer, but in our opinion this is completely understandable. The service staff give their all (which is also noticeable), after the whole Corona situation it certainly hasn't gotten any easier.

My daughter and I usually come on Saturday mornings to drink coffee and enjoy croissants. It's a shame that the service isn't consistently attentive and friendly. Only Rosanna is a highlight with her friendly and courteous charisma and manner, which contributes significantly to the fact that we enjoy coming! It's nice that there are still traditional cafés in Schaffhausen.

Saturday 11am Waited 12 minutes for service! Served with grumbling. No more peaks, no more croissants in Confiserie! :-( Luckily there are alternatives… I have nothing to add to this customer understanding (in the replica) - it is self-explanatory!

Friendly service and good coffee and cake

Beautiful place in the old town of Schaffhausen. There is a terrace and a beautiful large hall on the first floor. The staff is very friendly. The menu is rich enough for a pastry shop with a tea room. I ate well and prices are correct. What you absolutely have to eat are the cakes and specialties from Confiserie Rohr: a delight!!🤗🙏🏻🌞

Really nice, old-fashioned. Unfortunately, it no longer offers the same offerings as it did in the days of the original Café Rohr. But only my dear 93-year-old aunt remembers those times.

The worst goulash I've ever eaten. A disgrace for this price. There are no pieces of meat, just potato pieces. Shame on you, that's not the Swiss cuisine I know. I would like to give -5 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible.

Friday morning (bridge day after the ascension) at 10 a.m. I wanted to order a coffee and croissants. Answer: we no longer have croissants, only brioche... Then I took coffee, but next time I won't. I think there should be croissants at 10 a.m. - that was literally "the summit"! Incredible

We visit Cafe Rohr regularly. But what happened to us today can hardly be described in words. The service and products left a lot to be desired and it took almost half an hour before we could pay. We had a voucher and the service was again overwhelmed... If it's a street cafe, then everything has to be right. For a business like Cafe Rohr, well, not again so quickly. Unfortunately …..

The Café Rohr (Köhler, owner) is a cozy place to drink a good coffee. If you want, you can choose between fine sweet pastries or fresh croissants, sandwiches or you can choose salads and various other freshly prepared small menus from the menu. Café Rohr (Köhler) has a quiet atmosphere. You can usually find space for more than 2 people without any problems. The bakery/pastry shop is in the entrance. On the upper floor is the café, which is accessible by stairs or elevator. Personally, I can only recommend a visit. The lavish selection of homemade baked goods alone will make your mouth water. Very nice service and the price is reasonable

You can always find something here, be it sweets, sandwiches or Schaffhausen specialties. The café is always very busy, but in summer there is also seating outside.

Old style coffee upstairs. Ultra-modern in the lower area. The house is inviting and modern from the outside. Latte and breakfast were good.
