The service staff is very friendly and professional. The owner not always quite so. The atmosphere is nice. It feels upper class at first sight. Unfortunately the food is disappointing. We had the vedure al forno which is not seasonal nor fresh vegis. It's cheap frozen vegetables and tastes accordingly. And a pizza which looks nice but tasted blend and the meat a bit old/off (maybe that's why it comes breaded in spice). Prices though are very much upper class. After we've been served the food Santa Lucia suddenly felt like a tourist trap. But suprisingly they have many customers and rather good reviews. Still, if you're looking for good food, go somewhere else.

This is my favorite place to stop when visiting Schaffhausen for work. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is delicious. I was blessed on my last visit to have the fabulous Haitham as my server. He made excellent recommendations for pizza and wine! A must stop location!!!

Great lunch in Schaffhausen.Very friendly welcome. Nice attentive service and the manager was also very accommodating and friendly to us. From the appetizer to the pizza to the wine, it was a successful visit to Santa Lucia. Price performance is right here. The restaurant was full, but we got a great seat by the window. The starter (bruscetta) was very bitter… and the main course (king prawns with risotto) well was quite ok… The service was really great! And unfortunately it's a bit narrow, so well, that's an understatement. You sit so close together that you'd think the people next to us belonged to our table. I could even put my arm over the person sitting next to me... It's otherwise very romantic and beautiful but well I wouldn't visit it again now...

Very accommodating and friendly service

It's been a long time since I've had a really good pizza: crispy, thin dough that doesn't overpower the toppings in terms of taste. Very large, so I had doubts as to whether I would be able to do it, but due to the optimal consistency of the dough, that wasn't a problem because you wouldn't be fattened up like with run-of-the-mill pizzas. The antipasti misti beforehand were also delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is an additional plus. Recommendation!

Very friendly service and the food was excellent. When the restaurant was full, we had to wait a little long for the desserts. Price-performance completely ok.

Ate there last Monday, it was my birthday and I've been wanting to eat at Santa Lucia for a long time. Service very friendly, atmosphere nice. Antipasti misti, taste good, but where were the grilled vegetables? Served carelessly on a platter, the bread with it wasn't fresh, soft and cold...I'm often in Italy, but that's a shame. Ordered 2 pizzas and 4 formaggi, I mainly eat pizzas in Zurich, but these are nice with a thick edge, these were flat and I had to add salt...ultimately we were disappointed, for 110.- you can expect more.

Still very good, still very friendly service, but unfortunately still very loud. A little cleaner after the renovation. Unfortunately, comfortable “talking to each other” is impossible.

From the outside the restaurant looks inviting. The staff is also friendly and professional. Unfortunately, neither the nice atmosphere nor the prices reflect the cheap quality of the food. The food was very disappointing. After the announcement that the oven vegetables (Verdure al Forno) would take half an hour, I expected more than half a portion of unappetizingly arranged, thawed frozen vegetables for an impressive 28 francs. The pizza, although visually appealing, was poor in taste. It's a shame that the guests are being ripped off like this.

Once again enjoy a relaxed evening with company in this cool, trendy restaurant. Piccata and spaghetti were simply great. My companion enjoyed her popular Pizza Bianca with Parma ham. An insider tip is Cont’Ugo, a red wine from Antinori. Food and ambience simply great. The crew is really positive and everyone wants to be a positive host. We'd love to come back.

Eaten on Sunday 21 January, Parma ham with black buffalo mozzarella, not cut at the moment, seeing a Berkel in plain sight and served with half a mozzarella. Grandma's meatballs with uncooked tomato (tasteless)... Prawns without flavour.. .After a bill of 200 Chf..I expect a cuisine that reflects the real Italy..the stars only for the attentive service...

Starter bruschetta well seasoned Negative The pizza dough was just too soggy and it's terrible when the dough slips off the fork, let alone you couldn't even eat it with your hand. Taste is good. However, there is no improvement because many people have already written about it during the recessions. It's a shame ☹️

Pizza dough and ingredients of lower quality than Santa Lucia Winterthur. Price/performance not balanced.

Very friendly service, courteous, competent. Diverse culinary offerings, fine Italian cuisine. Great presentation of their wines, spirits in large bottles. The room is large and gets loud when in full operation, the sound insulation could be better. We'll be back, thank you for the hospitality.

Always enjoyed going there. I always took friends and relatives there too. But since they excluded those who were actually vaccinated during the C period, I no longer support the restaurant.

Well-attended place with a great atmosphere. Very good selection of dishes and great wine list. The service impresses with its friendliness and professionalism. We enjoyed tagliata and a pizza bianca with a good bottle of Italian wine.

Reserved for 6 but only 4 showed up. We should actually have to pay for that! You in particular, who are usually fully booked, would be entitled to this. That's how I pay by remaining a loyal customer.

The children's menu is very convenient, there is a corner with a few toys and books. The food is super good!!

Friendly and quiet inside. Since we visited during an off-peak hour when there were few customers, the food came out quickly. The food was salty, but I ate it with a drink. 😄 (We ordered pizza, risotto, and pasta)

Excellent store, continuing the good and quality tradition like other Santa Lucia stores in other Swiss cities. Italian cuisine with several options in pasta, even more in Pizzas but also other flavors and salads. Brave and honest portions. The interior after the renovation is very beautiful and warm. In the summer it is nice to enjoy your food at the tables in the town square. The staff are polite and friendly, they serve professionally. The prices correspond to the quality offered. One of the sure choices for nice food.

Lasagna and pizza were very tasty. In addition, the staff is very child-friendly. Our 1-year-old daughter immediately received a high chair, something to color in and a children's plate with children's cutlery. There is also a small play area. The price is okay for Swiss standards. We will be back :-)

Incredible Italian restaurant in Schaffhausen! We took a day trip from Zurich up to Rhine Falls and then took the bus to Schaffhausen. This is an incredible and gorgeous little city in Northern Switzerland. We came across this beautiful and cozy restaurant nearby the train station and it was possibly our best meal during the Europe trip. From the food to the service and atmosphere, it was all around a great experience. They start but bringing out some bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar along with some drinks. Fantastic! For my main I had the prosciutto pizza and it was very good! The pizzas are hand made in the dining room in a wood fired oven. The prosciutto used was high quality and delicious. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake and ice cream and it was also very good! Denan, our server, was amazing and made our experience very enjoyable! He even gave a recommendation to go get drinks at a nearby bar called Bar 13 and it was a great little bar with an amazing drink selection. Highly recommend this restaurant and a trip to Schaffhausen!

We wanted to have dessert there. First we waited a long time until someone came. Then it took another long time until we got the food. The service was very brief. And seemed reserved and distant. Ate a pizza today. 🍕 And I have to say! I haven't had such good pizza for a long time. 👌 Very good . I'll come to you for a pizza in the future. 🙏

All in all, our new favorite restaurant. Pizzas are to die for! Every special request will be catered for. Extremely polite and courteous staff. There's nothing wrong with the ambience, it's clean - not too bright - not too loud - not too cramped - just great. See you next time :)

We had a wonderful dinner at St. Lucia Schaffhausen. The service was perfect and children and dogs were also taken care of. The food tasted delicious, thanks to the kitchen! Gladly again!

Great atmosphere, fast, friendly and courteous service. Pizza was crispy and made with high quality products and therefore tasted very good. When it comes to prices, you have to be aware that you are in Switzerland and the prices are therefore different. Any time!

3 people turnover Fr. 343.10. The starter Burrata with date tomatoes for the price of Fr 19.--. If you asked for some onions, you were charged a surcharge of Fr 1.00. Petty, almost embarrassing.

Elegant and warm service, very good quality products, a delicious atmosphere. I had the tagliatelle with truffles and tasted the seafood risotto and the ham and mushroom pizza, everything was excellent. We had a wonderful time and are grateful to have come across you by chance to complete our stay in Schaffouse. In addition, the prices are quite reasonable. Thank you Santa Lucia. Highly recommended.
