Cafe des Alpes in Prangins

The restaurant has been renovated with taste and originality. No extendable card but the dishes are prepared "al minute". The portions are not guaranteed, which I find very positive. Finesse vs. quantity! The solo chef in the kitchen, the boss alone at the service and it works! A bet that is playable... and well played! I didn't wait any longer than in some pizza factories... I go there regularly.

A real pleasure to spend an evening in this great value for money restaurant.

Beautiful discovery in Crassier

I don't know "la semplicita" old address, but I know that their new address is a real nice change. Very simple, very good, very warm welcome. The pasta is really excellent, I'm just afraid it won't be repeated often enough.

Italian restaurant with few tables which makes it very pleasant. The menu is quite limited but that is a sign of quality. They have lake perch fillets, tartare, pasta and more. The whole thing is very good but we didn't really like its Italian inspirations on the tartare (too many dried tomatoes) and the perch fillets in olive oil and tartare, a little shy in terms of taste. The fries are really excellent. The little Pargiana-style starter was great too. The wine list is nice with classics from the region and beautiful Italian references. Service is acceptable but only one person to do the whole room is a bit penalizing for customers. Not in terms of waiting for dishes which are very well coordinated, but there is always something missing, and so we receive it later, if there is another table being served.

Small but fine restaurant. Small menu but with very tasty food. We chose the daily menu and were not disappointed with the three courses. Good portions, very tasty food with homemade sauces and top value for money. A little insider tip within walking distance of the castle and with various public and private parking spaces. We will be back.

Excellent meal: salad, cold meats, gratin dauphinois, and the fabulous blueberry tart. One star less for the quantity of gratin dauphinois, which was a little light.

A very nice discovery, this pretty restaurant nestled in the heart of Prangins and close to the castle. Delicious perch fillets from Lake Geneva, soft, cooked in olive oil and really of such quality, no need for a sauce, a squeeze of lemon is enough. Home fries accompany the dish. Special mention to the tartare too. Homemade bread. The rest of the menu is very tempting, we will come back…. Great work in the kitchen and in the service: thank you!

An address discovered by chance and to which I manage to return as often as possible, it is the same for each person to whom I introduce it. Excellent small menu - much better than an average large selection. Small menu but difficult to choose between one delicious thing and another... Everything is fresh and succulent - great Italian cuisine, all in modesty and discretion. I love this place, a real restaurant run by a family who obviously want to do the best they can. It succeeded !

I worked in this place. the cleanest kitchen in Switzerland. Timed fries. The dedication of the owner is immense. everything is done perfectly.

We went to eat on a Saturday lunchtime, the welcome was not the warmest. The choice of dishes rather limited and the price very high (27.-- the portion of Rigatoni napoletani). And I was hungry when I came out, I didn't eat badly, but I wouldn't go back.

An overpriced tourist trap with salty, oily, greasy food and pushy staff. Go to the museum restaurant instead.

I find the menu to be on the simpler end, but food is well done and the environment and service was very charming.

Very pleasant Italian restaurant in the charming village of Prangins, just next the castle. Home made pasta, tasty typical Italian dishes and reasonable prices in a cosy atmosphere and with an excellent service. I would've put 4.5 if I could. The last 0.5 would be reached with a bit more extensive menu.

What a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. I went on a Sunday night, when there were very few tables, and ordered the aubergine millefeuille entree with a game ragout pasta. The server was friendly and had great timing. My only disappointment was not tasting the tiramisu on the menu, as I was too full. Very happy to have tried Cafe des Alpes.

Plats délicieux, fait avec amour et délicatesse. Petite carte, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Nous avons été servis très vite. Service chaleureux et personnel.

Charmant restaurant, à côté du château... L'accueil est chaleureux et la carte courte mais variée, ce qui est en général gage de produits frais. Cela s'est confirmé. Très bonne cuisine jusqu'au dessert.

Jolie bâtisse. Mais le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas... ni en quantité, ni en qualité : 3 bouchées de pâtes avec une sauce au bouillon knorr, et une petite tranche de saumon avec un minuscule pot de riz baignant dans l'huile. Le tout trop salé. On ira ailleurs la prochaine fois...

Arrêt pour le repas de midi lors d'une virée moto. Accueil un peu froid! La salle intérieure est pas mal mais vu le temps j'ai profité de la terrasse. Pas vu de plat du jour mais suffisamment de choix dans la carte. Opté pour une schnitzel... salade. Très bon.
