Jokes aside, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had (from the bread to the quality of the meat). A gem in the heart of Neuchâtel. Very welcoming (and english speaking) staff.

Very unpleasant and very responsive staff. Think you know everything about life. I was surprised we spent the whole evening only to end up getting kicked out for cause? We didn't ask the chef to take the free chair from another table! Never seen… I hope the place changes managers because it has a lot of potential!

I ordered beer which was 6.50 CHF and guy who worked there told me that I can pay by card but they will charge me 10.00 CHF (he didn't explain me why). Of course, as a tourist I didn't have anything except the card so I paid. On the receipt there was only 6.50 CHF even if they charged me 10.00 CHF. Beside that beer was good, music ok, but user experience was 0 because of this. Of course, guy who worked at the bar didn't suggest me to buy 2 beers and to save the money, because minimum for card payment is 10.00 CHF. I traveled a lot and never had this kind of situation. Unfortunately if I come again in Neuchatel I will skip this bar.

In my opinion best pub in the canton of Neuchâtel. The service is fast and very pleasant, the quality of the food is good and consistent. Personally, I have never been disappointed. (Even on game nights like tonight) I highly recommend it. Allow between 9 and 11 CHFR for a 5dL beer and 20 to 24 CHFR for a main course. (Special recommendation: Fish & chips with malt vinegar) PS: the burgers containing habanero mayonnaise are excellent but *very* spicy

Pub in Neuchâtel 🇨🇭, full of space inside (it has 3 floors) many bears to try, the staff is nice and welcoming and they always have football game on with their many TVs inside.

A place not to be missed! weekend concerts are always great. Football matches and major sporting events. Too bad a waitress no longer wants to put on the match comments and plays ethnic music... In this Irish bar. Which has distorted the place a bit lately.

As a regular customer here I would like to say that the atmosphere, beer and food are good, the staff is pleasant and the service is good. What cannot be said for the manager, on several occasions this individual was unpleasant towards me when there was no reason. I think the place is nice and the rest of the staff is really nice but this person is demeaning this establishment, I find that (loyal) customers deserve better treatment than what I received, even in the event of a misunderstanding.

Large selection, nice staff, great atmosphere

Surprised that such a welcoming place at the base is spoiled by the great hospitality of some employees. The man who claims to be the "manager" (who apparently isn't paid to smile) had us in his sights all evening. For good reason, we made the mistake of putting external consumption on our table (without eating it, I specify). Error on our part which we certainly understand. Later in the evening, he asked us to leave (in his own way) under the pretext that we were occupying chairs for other customers (???) even though we had consumed all evening... In addition, he accuses us of having moved chairs without HIS authorization. Because it is well known that when we need an extra chair, it is appropriate to ask the manager rather than the people occupying the table in question. In short, nice place, but poor establishment management.

Coolest place in Neuchatel. Good food, drinks and music.

First of all, when you are a waiter you learn to be friendly. This is not the case for the waiter with a beard. I have never seen such an unpleasant person. Study your servers' CV carefully before hiring them because I have the impression that you are doing this without really analyzing their behavior. First experience and undoubtedly the last in this bar. Terrible experience I don't even recommend this to my worst enemy. To avoid !!!!!!

I loved this place. There are many expats that come there to hang out. I don't really know about the food as I didn't really eat there yet. Friday and Saturday nights there's usually some live bands playing and so far I liked all of them but that's personal preference. The people are generally friendly though a bit 'cold' but then again what does one expect if there serving food and drinks in a packed Irish bar🤣

They kicked us out for nothing at all!!!! The bartender was very aggressive for nothing! The worst treatment in my life!

Very nice place but very unpleasant and responsive staff. Makes customers wait in a full bar with torrential rain either standing or outside because they don't want to open the upper part. Impossible to pay with the card for less than 10.- and a large beer costs 9.-… so if you are alone you cannot drink in this bar… no understanding or empathy from the servers. Huge disappointment.

The setting is pleasant and pretty. But the staff on the floor were unfriendly and not very smiling. In addition, during the Swiss team's football matches, he prefers to put on the .....Brazil and English channel. Avoid on match days. I will go back one weekend to get a second opinion which I hope will be better.

A customer for over 20 years, I have never seen such catastrophic service and above all so unfriendly (apparently from the new manager) I will not return to this bar.

I tasted the hamburger which was to die for....

First visit and not the experience I was hoping for. Firstly, a nice bar with a friendly bartender. Asked for a local beer and was offered 3. Chose a blonde beer by the bottle, it was nice but CHF 9 for a 330ml bottle of local beer was in my opinion expensive. Go to pay by card and told a minimum of CHF 10 was the minimum for card payments but she suggested I top it up and give the extra as a tip! I did. Next up I ordered a draught beer but asked if I could pay for 2 and for the second beer to be poured when I finished the first. No chance! If every customer asked for that her head couldn't handle it! I was about to ask for a food menu but I overheard her say that the kitchen is closed on certain days of the week. This is a weekend in August and this town is a tourist hotspot! Now, in Ireland, we pay for everything by card, coffees, taxis, buses etc and no mention of a minimum spend. If we open a business 7 days per week, we open the entire business! Lastly a man walked behind the bar wearing a T shirt with a shamrock on it and spoke to the young bartender in a way that he should never have done, even if there were no customers around. Not acceptable! I think this establishment needs to move into the 21st century. I may try it again but much improvement is needed by the owners.
