Quite simply one of the best coffees in Neuchâtel.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, despite reservation confirmation. Not keeping the opening times on Maps up to date can happen, but confirming a reservation even though the restaurant is closed? Oh well... Update: Merci d'avoir appelé, c'était très gentil.

Good coffees and delicious cakes

Coffee done right. My flat white was silk smooth and delightful. The atmosphere can get a bit stuffy, but the hospitable and prompt service makes up for it. Bought a couple of 250gr bags of Okapi roasted whole beans coffee to take home since our coffee was so good, they were reasonably priced.

Super cozy and warm café restaurant, a wide choice of coffee and other very friendly hot drinks. You can come with young children, for dinner it is safer to reserve and specify if you come with a stroller, because the space is a little limited.

“Incredibly” warm place. Impeccable service, quality products, “family/eco/friendly”. Without a shadow of a doubt, a place to recharge your batteries and an unmissable “coffee/brunch” in the Neuchâtel landscape. Another “big/great” advantage is that the staff is bilingual. It is therefore possible to place an order in the language of "Voltaire" but also in that of Shakespeare. Recommended.

Great place to eat or just drink coffee! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is very pleasant, the food is excellent. There are plenty of vegetarian or vegan choices. I highly recommend the soup and cookies!

Great little restaurant/cafe. Original, healthy dishes and quality products. Unfortunately and despite several attempts, very slow service. The waiters only leave the café when their tray is full, which causes a very long wait (up to 20' for two coffees). Many people who sit outside end up leaving since no one comes out to take orders. It’s a real shame because the place is very nice and original!

Good experience, the dishes were all very good and the drinks too! Gluten-free options that are suitable for celiacs even if they indicate a risk of contamination. Special mention for their Carrot Cake (GF) which we literally devoured in 2 minutes haha.

My friends and I had a nice breakfast here. The coffee was great, so was the breakfast set that I had. Prices were affordable for our good time there. Staff is also friendly and we could order in English, as our French was not so good.

Great coffeshop.. 😍 just in a shady place and beautifuly in the center of Neuchatel. We ordered a cappuccino, carrot - pineapple cake and a chees-lemon cake. They were sooo delicious! 🥰🤤 The waiters are very friendly and patient. We paid for our cakes, coffee and berry smothie 20chf. That was a very fair price.

Guter Kaffee, aber das Essen ist etwas überteuert, für was schlussendlich vor einem auf dem Tisch steht. Zudem ist das Café eher ungemütlich und zu laut, um länger zu sitzen oder sogar zu lesen.

Leckeres Essen, gemütliche Atmosphäre, schönes Ambiente. Man kann drinnen und draussen sitzen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Die Teller und Gerichte sind stilvoll. Man kann die Gerichte teils selbst mit diversen Zutaten individualisieren. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.

Excellente halte pendant visite de la vielle villeService très accueillant et agréable en terrasse, de très bonnes salades (goûteuses et généreuses) et une carte des cafés très interessantes. On s’y sent bien et on mange bien... dommage que le nombre de tables soit limité car c’est vraiment bon et bien!

caffé molto buono, colazione con caffé e "pain au chocolat" tipico della zona francese e Francia.Vi sono altre cose che sembravano molto buone.Prezzi nella media di Neuchatel.

Le petit-déjeuner à 12.50CHF se résume à un croissant, une cuillère à café de confiture, une petite cuillère de miel, un petit carré de beurre, 5cl de jus d'orange (à peine une gorgée), et un pot de yaourt correct. Tout cela, sans boisson! Prix excessif. Les prix montent et les quantités s'amenuisent. En plus, la serveuse est peu sympathique.

L'endroit est sympa et les plats sont bons. Cependant les prix sont un peu trop élevés selon moi. Le point négatif pour moi qui n'en n'est peu être pas un pour tout le monde est que ce lieux est très bruyant. À chaque fois que j'y suis allée, il y avait des personnes avec leurs enfants et bébés dans tous les coins, donc pas un endroit très calme.

Ich komme von Zeit zu Zeit hierher. War schon immer tolles Essen, toller Service und insgesamt eine gute Umgebung. Beste Vergünstigung: Sonntags geöffnet und ein richtiges Frühstück anbieten.

Je suis assez mitigée sur ce café dont je trouve néanmoins le concept intéressant: l'ambiance et la déco sont chouettes, les plats sont globalement bons et sains. Par contre, je trouve quand même les prix excessifs (entre 12 et 15 CHF pour un petit déj ou franchement depuis 1 an les portions se sont considérablement réduites ça rebute un peu).Surtout, ce que je trouve dommage c'est que le service est assez lent.Aussi, (et le plus décevant), je suis allée plusieurs fois mais à chaque fois, aucun(e) des serveurs(es) ne dit bonjour à leur client lors de leur arrivée, ni ne les assoit à une table !Il y a 2 jours j'y suis allée et me suis retrouvée dans cette situation ou j'ai attendu plusieurs minutes, mais en vain...du coup dommage, mais je suis partie, j'ai perdu patience...Un conseil peut-être faire plus attention à vos clients, au moins leur dire bonjour et au revoir...

Un petit café avec terrasse très chou où les familles sont les bienvenues (table à langer, chaise haute, jouets) et le personnel très sympa. Deux types de cafés ainsi que des cupcake délicieux. Je m'y rends souvent avec mes amis et nos bébés !

Nice café with a hipster undertone but not too much, very near the city centre. Good for groups of friends for chatting and light breakfast or for some light work on the computer. Has nice outside seating in the shade as well, the inside has a few ventilators during the summer months.

Delicious food, very friendly and quick service, great coffee! Good prices and lots of outdoor seating, which makes it dog friendly. Perfect for a Saturday lunch in Neuchâtel!
