Great homemade hot chocolate with quality Italian pastries

After having an average experience the last time. I was pleasantly surprised by the difference in the service which was magnificent, as was the tiramisu and capucino. Calm atmosphere.

Superb place. Homemade cooking. Magnificent cakes (a very good gluten-free chocolate cake!) One of the best soy milk cappuccinos for me. Lots of vegetarian options and regional products. Magnificent service and a golden boss. THANKS

We ordered ice creams on the terrace, ice creams that we didn't like! The ones we ate a long time ago! Now the fruits are visible….very disgusting! Damage

Always so nice for Sunday brunch. Come discover and taste “homemade” Italian specialties. The staff are really attentive and that alone makes us happy to come back.

We love café du Meg, the location is nice, big terrace in spring and summer, inside big spaces. The brunch is nice and at a good price. We had lemon ravioli with tomatoes sauce, very tasty. Their zeppole are yummi. For Easter you can find Colomba di Pasqua homemade. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Espresso and cappuccino are very good. A touch of Italian food before or after visiting a worthy museum in Geneva.

ok for brunch but extremely limited choice for a real meal. Moreover, often the only non-veggie dish is no longer available after 1 p.m. So forced to fall back on soup. Nice waitresses despite everything although powerless to advise you.

Long wait for the dish of the day, no 2nd course (pasta at 20.-), impersonal, meh not happy

Nice and tasty. I like the place ands the neighbourhood. And the museum building. Always a good choice for a cosy lunch with family or a friend

Nice presentation but 22 chf for a ball of buratta on a bed of greenery. Personally I find this price too expensive. Uncoordinated waitresses.

Service that can no longer keep up on the weekend when there are people, always the same dishes, very long wait for a barely warm lasagna almost reheated from the day before.

Nice place that offers cool icetea. Excellent for a coffee break or afternoon coffee, along with a dessert.

Lovely, the lady that runs its makes all these beautiful and amazing cakes. She was sooo nice, stocked with everything you need for a snack or drink including beer. Still takeaway for now until corona sods off. Highly recommend... Go check those cakes out.

I find that consumption is still a bit expensive, especially for a place that has been subsidized with citizens' money, otherwise the place is clean.

The service is friendly and it's perfect for having a coffee, but the lunch menu is repeated and is quite basic.

If you are zooming around downtown Geneva... Old Town... Plainpalais... You won't miss The MEG! And of course not its Caffetteria... With her splendid Italian Ladies!!! Kindness and good food... And why not?... The amazing Geneva Ethnographic Museum... 🏋️👣💜

More than average service, the snacks are overpriced, and not very good. Stilted atmosphere which slightly disgusted the museum.

The sandwiches are delicious :)
