Well, if you want to immerse yourself in a beautiful atmosphere and a gorgeous view from the window, then this is the place for you The prices are, of course, quite high, but this is justified by the fact that the restaurant is located in a 5-star hotel, with a view of the famous fountain and excellent meat from the chef.

An exceptional address for lovers of choice matured meats with perfectly mastered cooking. The staff is very attentive and contributes to the family and discreet atmosphere.

We had the special menu and it was ok for me, I was disappointed by the service, we were pretty invisible to the waiters, they served the table next to us that came way later than us faster and they would not turn in any moment to ask if we needed anything. It was supposed to be a special date but we were pretty uncomfortable and just wanted to leave fast.

A very pretty restaurant, very well located with a magnificent view of the lake and the fountain. The place is very modern, the atmosphere is relaxed and the service was very good. The dishes are still very expensive but the quality of the food is worth it. A great place to eat good products!

We came to eat as a couple in this high quality restaurant. We enjoyed everything: the general atmosphere, the music, the view of the lit Christmas market. The menu is very varied, there is something for everyone. We loved it when the chefs presented the meats to us in the window. We realize the research and maturation work that is done upstream. The meat was obviously delicious, as was the chef's incredible oil (which doesn't look like much, since it's an oil, but which actually captivated the meal). What we liked the most was the service. Special thanks to our server Dylan who is actually not there just to serve us, but to make us have a good time. This really changed us from the "cold" and "conventional" services usually offered in this type of establishment. In short: we highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely amazing food and service. The crab and prawn casserole was the best! A must visit in Geneva especially with the atmosphere and views.

A unique experience ! We came for dinner this time as a family to show them Geneva and it was obvious to come and eat at the Grill which I consider to be one of the most beautiful and good restaurants I have been to so far in my life . We had a Châteaubriant to share between two, accompanied by truffle mashed potatoes. It's by far the best meat I've ever tasted! An incredible delight in the mouth, with a rediscovery in each bite thanks to the different sauces and types of salt offered in order to explore the flavors of the meat. I recommend this dish 1000% ❤️ Only twice have we come and I have been touched by the special attention given to us, thank you very much Marie for that. We often say that it's the little details that matter the most and that's exactly it! Warm welcome, The most beautiful table with the most beautiful view reserved for us, The sympathy in the contact as well as the support throughout the meal... that's what creates all this magic. Service not very attentive at first. However, very friendly & professional during the meal. Ambience great; View too. Unfortunately some of the fries were served practically raw. Unfortunately, burgers are not particularly good! & yes we work in the afternoon. 😉

Amazing restaurant! We had the joy of discovering this establishment whose decoration and view transport us beyond time. A huge thank you to the young woman who reserved the best table for us with a view of the Jet d'eau du lac. I knew the concept of the restaurant to offer exceptional meats but I was far from imagining qualities like this. I made the pleasure of eating last because it was so good! Besides, everyone was of the same opinion! I would like to specially thank Cassandra, our waitress, with her smile. She was bubbly with lots of suggestions for our choices of wine and sauce in addition to taking a sincere interest in us and creating a contact that I particularly appreciated. I recommend this place whether with friends, family or as a couple if you want to enjoy excellent dishes and especially when you like meat.

Very nice place but experience spoiled by the staff who refuse to accept our choice of “well done” cooking. The meat is rare and even blue despite our request, then we are categorically refused to re-cook the meat, under the pretext that meat “should” be eaten like that. The problem is that by putting customer satisfaction aside in favor of so-called rules (which are unfounded and completely personal), even if it means being haughty, the customer ultimately no longer has a good time, even though that is what matters! Nice atmosphere and beautiful setting that said.

Very warm place with a magnificent view of the Geneva Jet d'Eau. The dishes are very good, I recommend the beef fillet heart as a main course, it is very tender. The service is high quality, nothing to complain about, all the staff are very friendly.

Frankly very expensive for the quality of the products. Meat overcooked when requested rare, burnt on the outside. Weird smell of meat. So-called premium charcuterie platter...meh. You order a cocktail, the fruit decoration is rotten. Apart from the view, no interest. Damage.

This is an exceptional restaurant. There are some very nice restaurants along Lake Geneva, and we went to the Grill, the restaurant at the Fairmont hotel. Located on the first floor, the restaurant room offers a magnificent view of the lake. Comfort is there. The welcome is very warm and very pleasant. Obviously these are the most important dishes... and this is flawless. The starters were varied and very tasty. The meat was perfectly cooked and accompanied by asparagus with morel sauce. A delight. All served with a Swiss wine well chosen by the sommelier. This is a somewhat expensive experience, but it's definitely worth it. Thank you again for your welcome and congratulations to the chef for the flavor of the dishes.

I had kept the bad impressions linked to the former manager but I must admit that since the takeover by the Fairmont group, I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the establishment. The staff are lovely where they tended to be snobbish. The delicious cuisine, I enjoyed the perfect cooking of the meat. I can only suggest more local wines on the menu but otherwise, no complaints.

Great view of the lake and fountain (jet d'eau). Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! Food is excellent... great flavours, good portions. We tired a steak... it was cooked to perfection! Reasonable prices. Could add up if you order from the steak selection and get a few drinks too many. But would still be worth it!

Glad to have been able to eat at the Grill again which was closed for a while. Meal with my wife overlooking the lake and having a fart the total with starter, main course and dessert. We had a great time and the new staff (young people) are great.

The place is great but a bit pricey. Nevertheless the food is amazing so is the service and the overall atmosphere. The view to the lake is stunning. I had the grilled Burger and for dessert the molten lava cake. They were absolutely delicious. Reserving in advance is highly suggested. I would recommend this place.

There is nothing like Swiss service, Le Grill is no exception. From the moment you arrive and get shown to your table, to the last mouthful of one of the incredible desserts, the staff are so attentive. This put together with outstanding food and a stunning view of Lake Garda, and the beautiful fountain equals an awesome lunch or dinner. When I am next in Geneva I know where I am heading!

I have given this place a five star rating because on my most recent visit the service was on another universe (in a positive way). This restaurant ages its own meats and they also have whole grilled chicken slow roasted on a spit. Three friends chose this item and I decided to go for a burger. This was a bit of an unusual choice because a burger is not typically the kind of menu item you would come to visit this restaurant for. On my previous visit we shared a Tomahawk. I ordered the burger “medium”. The price at the time was 44chf, which is probably the most I have ever paid for a burger. Accordingly I had high expectations. When my burger was served it looked like a normal average burger. When I tasted it I immediately noticed that it was well done: overcooked. The meat had that dryish grainy texture. The staff did not come to our table at frequent intervals and although it was a bit unfortunate, I did not want to specifically complain or have it sent back; these things can happen sometimes, even if they shouldn’t. Toward the end of our meal I gave my feedback to our server. I explained that, at the level this restaurant is positioning itself, my expectation was that there would be something to make this burger stand out from the normal… like perhaps they would make their own minced meat, or use a specific type of cheese, or at least be able to differentiate their meat (eg by using ribeye). I mentioned that this burger was missing a “wow factor” and that other burgers from the competition are more creative. The server asked if they should bring another one. This was a friendly gesture but I explained that it was not a bad burger: it just did not meet my subjective expectations. If it would have been unacceptable I would have asked at an earlier stage for a replacement. They were thankful for the feedback and handled it objectively and professionally. When we asked for the bill, the server brought us some desserts, which we had not ordered. The server explained that this was on the house because of the burger, and this was a nice surprise. When the bill came we noticed that they had forgotten to charge us for the burger. When we asked about it they told us that they had deliberately removed it from the bill! What was amazing was that they had not even mentioned this in advance. This was not my intention because somebody spent effort buying and preparing everything. My intention was to give the feedback because I want to come and visit this restaurant again. It was a super nice gesture and the way it was handled was fantastic. I will be sure to ask if they have elevated their burger to have that “wow effect”! ;-)

Ate there with my friend. 2 entries 2 mains. 4 gin tonics and water. Food was very average. Bill was 320CHF. Completely not worth it. Gin tonics were nice tho so 2* for that.

Great experience: unfortunately the arrival - by the hotel is disappointing. The hall is no longer at all what it was in the days of the old brands. Nice welcome, even if one could say almost too eager. The modern, cozy but somewhat bland atmosphere could be improved for the class desired by this restaurant. Beautiful view of the harbor; even if the lack of height is regrettable; Nice space for tables; with a small downside for the armchairs which are not very comfortable and sometimes have to be exchanged; Nice view of the kitchens; even if it would be more valuable to see the pieces of meat than mainly a large spit grill of poultry; Very good service as desired. The dishes are excellent; even if the lack of filling (unplanned or unclaimed??) is a shame; Beautiful wine list, although the price level is a little too high when we calculate the coefficient applied to the producer/cellar price. The Grill is at a slightly high price level without clearly positioning itself between the elegant and the luxury brasserie side but an undeniably valuable experience. To recommend.

4 guests arrived to eat good meat and here is our evening which begins after a delicious aperitif in an inn in the Geneva countryside. Amazing, yet aware of the somewhat high prices, we decide to try it for the first time before having our wallets emptied with the matured meats from the grill. A hamburger for 45.- with almost black fries (old frying oil which took time to digest) and totally industrial accompanying sauces in small original glass jars from the Heinz brand. 'Atlantic grilled for 65.- which looked like pangasius fillet, overcooked, cold and the young girl serving who struggled to cut it because the bone really stuck to the flesh, requested without sauce but the butter meunière is everything likewise apart from directly on the plate, cold plate and while waiting for all the guests to be served obviously it was completely cold when consumed and the accompaniment never arrived we asked for it but the “sole” was already eaten when it arrived! A lamb millefeuille that smelled strongly of mutton, as a result the guest was sick all night that followed, I'm not talking about the price for rotten meat because even one star is too much well paid for that! Finally the tartare is 65.-!!! Ok for the price but on the other hand prepared at the table would have been preferable, staff didn't ask me when ordering how I wanted it so I imagined that they were going to prepare it in front of me but no! Bad seasoning for an absolutely horrible quality of meat, not even defatted like the thread of fat with pieces of meat firmly attached, needless to say that it was not cut with a knife but with a machine in short an infection to which I I didn't touch it outright, seeing that no one came to see if everything was okay during the meal, the service staff not overwhelmed because there were almost as many customers as staff in the room, a restaurant manager like butler present in the room but who did not deign to come see us! The wine, the only good memory of this place, a Syrah from Geneva at 79.- a delicious bottle but fortunately I took the initiative to get up to get the bottle because despite our empty glasses no one suspected that we might want to drink our bottle! In short, the moral of the story is that price and quality do not necessarily go hand in hand, to be fair!

With friends we went to dinner at the Grill a few weeks ago for the first time. It was a wonderful surprise, having taken the beef fillet heart, I was impressed by the quality and accuracy of the cooking! Also I wanted to thank Mr Guillaume who took wonderful care of us all evening. Present without being annoying, always attentive, he also gave very good advice on wines. I'll be back !

I was there for a short lunch break, located on the edge of the lake with an exceptional view, the service is courteous and attentive, I only ate a properly cooked steak. Limoncello served in a brandy glass rounded off this short but positive experience

Ended up here unintentionally but so glad I did! Clement personally escorted me from 384 to The Grill (based on what kind of food I wanted)--I thought that was so kind! Then I met quite possibly the loveliest staff member ever: Marie. She took the time to chat with me about where I wanted to sit and what I wanted to eat. I could not asked for nicer service. Food was very tasty. Price is on point for the area.

What a wonderful evening we had!!! We returned to the Grill restaurant and as before we were very well received by Guillaume who knew how to find us his best table. The dinner was hearty, delicious and this view of the jet only accompanied our magnificent evening. Looking forward to coming back for new dishes.

The food was very very tasty... However, I have to say that the service was not optimal. We waited a long time at the beginning for the menu and then for the bill. There was never an apology and the staff was not attentive at all.

Meat came cold, the servers attention was bad for the price of the meal. We asked to change the meat, they re-heated which made the meat to be overcooked for what was asked. Unremarkable restaurant in Geneva, that you can go without going. For the view, go to Bain the paquis, pay 2x less, and eat better, you also get no service, but at least is expected for it.

It was ok, but we expected a lot more. We know prices in Geneva are sky high, but even with that standard in mind, the price-quality was not on par. Aperol spritz was small and watery, one of the worst/most expensive i've ever tasted. The meat was in fact nothing special, even though promoted as such. And again, ridiculously priced. (70 chf for 250g ribeye). I will not recommend this to my business partners. Had 10x better in standard cafés, at a third of the price. Almost shameful.

Very poor service, had to wait too much for my salad, which was just some green stuff along with honey sauce!!! Still waiting the main course while I am writing this review; quite bored, if I wasn’t that hungry I had left this place and would choose Burger King to fuel myself.

A slight downside on the charcuterie plate, which was really similar to supermarket charcuterie. The setting is very pretty, but don't expect to have an extraordinary view of Lake Geneva at night, the windows reflect the interior lights too much.

This restaurant is a must-experience in Geneva. The food is incredible! The meat is cooked to perfection, and along with the side dishes, is so delicious. Meat may be their specialty but the desert, in particular the chocolat fondant cake and the millefeuille, are an absolute dream. Overall the food is so amazing, I didn’t want it to end! Dining here is to experience culinary excellence with an incredibly welcoming and accommodating staff. They really make you feel at home while upholding the elegance and standard expected from a restaurant of such a high standard. Servers without any experience, not worthy of this type of establishment

The restaurant is in front of the lake very close to the center of the city. The inside is very well decorated and the staff are very nice and welcoming. We took an aperitif at the beginning (a glass of Ruinart ROSE). Followed by 1 starters and 1 main dish each (so 2 and 2) and a good bottle of red wine. Coffee and grappa to complete the dinner. All the dishes were very well prepared and tasted good, quality of the meat was very good. I have only a few remarks. During the dinner the attention of the waiters dropped down. While at the beginning of the dinner were always careful that our glass of wine weren't empty (the bottle of wine was not on our table), at some point we had to ask to keep the bottle on the table, as our glass were empty for some time and we didn't finish to eat. When we decided to leave and pay the bill, we asked for it 3 times, not a big deal, but I found it a bit strange as there were not so many people in the restaurant at that hours in the evening (it was already 23:00). My last remark is on the bill. Price of the dishes is very reasonable and in line with many restaurant in Geneva, however the 2 glasses of Ruinart (1 dl each) at the beginning of the dinner costed us 72 CHF (36 each). I am not an expert but I think a good bottle of Ruinart Rose costs around 100/120 CHF, so I found it a bit excessive. Nevertheless it was a very nice dinner.

“During my trip back to Geneva, Switzerland I experienced many new things that I have never seen or felt before. I tasted different cuisines that I never would have tried before, This restaurant has a variety of different foods that are a delight to your taste buds. I had the pleasure to enjoy their famous ‘Tartare de filet de bœuf coupé au couteau’. This meal consisted of a small pie shaped dish with beef thinly sliced. The prices are very expensive but worth every dime.
