Too much white wine in the fondue

No "fall" after each exhibition visited at Gianadda... because on January 1, 2009, almost the only restaurant open... the pepper fondue for me and half for my wife were (very) good and the service was friendly, this is always always the case. In addition, there is a friendly atmosphere: we talk to each other! (if we want) between tables and with the boss, and Westmalle triple, the best Belgian beer in the world and my wife is from the Antwerp region! I drink two...my wife drives.

Establishment in a true bistro spirit of yesteryear with excellent quality products and a friendly welcome. Thanks to the boss for the superb beer discovery (with a very nice selection of beers) We will happily return there on occasion.

My best experience in Switzerland. Went with my wife and we couldn't be more satisfied. The food was excellent and quite plentiful. Service was super friendly and the couple running the restaurant gave us a lot of attention, with nice wine recommendations and even explaining the proper way of eating some of the meals, despite our lack of French knowledge. Went there twice and would go again. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a fondue and found Cafe du Midi through Google Maps. The staff were very helpful and multilingual. They even gave us a sample of a beer we'd expressed an interest in. The fondue itself was very tasty and not overpriced. Would go back if and when I return to Martigny.

Great service and surprisingly considering you are in Switzerland a fabulous section of Belgium craft beers. Not such a surprise after meeting the owner who goes each year to Belgium to explore small specialist beer breweries. The cheese fondue is to die for, beautiful not too strong in cheese taste, well balanced.
