Very good brusolé. Very pretty terrace, space to move around. On the other hand, the service, a disaster! 3 hours sitting at the table for a brisolée! Endless time between different services. We have to ask for someone otherwise we don't exist. The drinks do not arrive at the same time, not at the right table, there is no spoon with the coffees, 20 minutes between the dessert menu and the order being taken. You have to go pay inside after waiting 15 minutes for the bill which never arrived! 40.- for a brisolée with such service, it's a steal!

We ate last Sunday on the Brisolée terrace apparently 2 regulars arrive wanting to eat outside at all costs but without being inconvenienced by the sun they asked to open the parasol which put everyone in the shade without asking for any advice if it bothered us to find ourselves outside shade: if we had booked on the terrace it was precisely to enjoy the last rays of sun.

Typical place. Unfortunately, very unfortunate that the online menu was very different from what was offered on site. As a vegetarian the options were very limited. Or even non-existent. Additionally, the room was almost empty (for a Saturday night?!) and we could hear everything the other table was saying (couple's argument). Obvious feeling of discomfort. Disappointing value for money: 170chf for two people for a starter, main course, dessert and half a bottle of local wine. Other establishments are much more deserving of a visit. Mention all the same for the staff who were welcoming, although not very experienced.

Mixed reception, we had the feeling of being annoyed, perhaps because we did not have the brisolee. The person who booked told us that the card reduction for the brisolee was not announced. We received information about the different dishes offered orally and wanted to think about our choice for 2 minutes. After announcing our order, we waited around 1 hour for our dishes. Tartare served more than 20 minutes before the other course, which meant the dish was almost finished before ours was served. Bland tartare, lack of seasoning. Fries would be welcome even if announced that they are not on the menu. Remarks from the boss, not very professional and full of remonstrance; don’t put one plate on top of the other it sticks; if the sauces are not finished they are charged because “customers want to taste all the sauces and don’t finish”. It seemed to me to be in a restaurant not at my mother's house. Insufficient meat and less than other restaurants even if very good, all for a price of 49.- per person, disproportionate. First course of fries without salt. Excellent homemade sauces. Confusion when requesting the supplement and waiting 15 minutes to find out that the supplement is finally payable. Minimum quantity offered and maximum price. Indication that we received the quantity for 3 people, which was not the case to justify our dissatisfaction. Ask the other tables if everything is okay but not our table; again as if we were disturbing. Went to the counter to pay and noticed that the owner speaks as badly to her employees as to her customers. The responses to the unprofessional and unquestioning comments once again demonstrate the profound lack of friendliness that describes the owner of this restaurant, of whom we have never experienced such discomfort in a restaurant. It seems that the client is king, here he is a child to be looked after in a nursery; as much in the quantity of food, in the price charged as in the remonstrances. No need to respond with a very unpleasant comment as usual, this will further reinforce our point of view that we will never set foot in your restaurant again.

An address to remember without hesitation to enjoy a delicious brisolée in a magnificent setting! However, we were surprised and found it unsavory that the owner refused to serve jugs of water despite a table of 7 people and extra drinks for the whole table. Likewise, we were with a 4 year old child who ate 4 chestnuts but his “portion” was charged 20.- CHF. Amazing and disappointing details for a place of this quality.

At the time of writing this post, reading Ms. Ferola's responses to negative reviews, I can already anticipate her reaction: irony, blame placed on the customer, no apology, no questioning... Brisolée from Saturday October 1st We arrive at noon with 3 adults with a formal reservation, for the brisolée precisely, the restaurant is still practically empty We are not welcomed at all. On the contrary, we have the impression of disturbing. We notice that the manager is very unpleasant with her employees. Finally, we are placed at random and then moved around while we are seated and enjoying an aperitif. Despite our reservation, we waited almost 1 hour before being served. During this time, 4 different waitresses come and ask us if we want to eat the brisolée... When it finally arrives, we ask for a jug of water. Purely and simply refused. !!! I would like to point out that we consumed white wine as an aperitif, must and red wine with the chestnuts. Once the meal is over, we ask to take away the leftover cheese which will end up in the trash anyway (at least we hope so...). They look at us with such astonishment that we almost have the impression of being thieves... I absolutely cannot recommend this place, as the owner is so unpleasant with her employees as well as her customers and the service like Madame Ferola. It's a real shame, because the brisolée was excellent and the products were quality.

Five stars for the place (fantastic!)...for the quality of the dishes and the attention to detail included in everything...the welcoming, kind and smiling staff which is no small feat...the landlady...beyond who welcomed us without a reservation accompanied us in everything...from the choice of wines...to the dishes...without forgetting to monitor the progress of everything...we felt pampered and accompanied on a beautiful evening...five stars... well deserved... We went for the traditional Brisolée, it's a shame to share this pretty typical dish when you are so poorly served, or even lectured by the manager who clearly has no sense of hospitality. It must be said, however, that the chestnuts and garnishes were good and of high quality, reflecting the very pretty and tastefully decorated place. Unfortunately, we will not come back again and I cannot recommend this place because there are many others just as good and qualitative in the region with a much better welcome.

On the other hand, I am disappointed with the sense of welcome from the boss, who for my part did not welcome us in the best way. We had a big table! But when we ask for a Brisolée for 8 people because the children won't eat, we get pushed around and are spoken to very badly. Too bad, we won't set foot there again. I find it all the more sad and unfortunate that the place, the setting, and the food are excellent, in addition to the waitresses who do their best, that the way the owner acts and speaks dampens the atmosphere. The customers' comments are not there to overshadow the establishment but rather to make Madame realize that her way of doing things is unpleasant.

First of all, the charm of the place; a large terrace with a sublime two-story garden full of poetry, with a clear view of the Col de la Forclaz and the vines flaming under the warm sun of October 30. Then the royal brisolée; we rejoiced and our enthusiasm has not dampened! Very tasty chestnuts from Piedmont and cooked to perfection. A platter of high quality cheese and cured meats, all served with fruit and delicious homemade jam! Chestnuts served as desired, we leave happy and well fed :-) We feel that there is a real love of a good product and the desire to please. An address that we highly recommend!

Very disappointed by the welcome! We called in the morning to reserve a table on the terrace between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. We drove an hour to get there. We called at 12:55 p.m. to say we were arriving. We got a little lost on the road! So we don't have a table reserved without any excuse, we are told to wait after 40 minutes and we are given a table inside! Not a word of apology! The waitress asks us if we take 4 portions or 3, we ask for 3 since children 6 and 8 eat little! At the exit we were charged for 4 portions! When we ask we are told it’s like that in an unfriendly tone! So don’t suggest making 3 servings! Otherwise the brisolée was excellent

We had reserved a table in October, but no one had informed us that the table was outside. We saw other customers in the same situation as us and all had to keep our jackets on and sometimes even our hats. We were asked to choose meals at the time of booking. It was a little weird, but still acceptable. The problem was that the people who chose the fondue were able to see on the spot that they could not eat just the fondue, but they had to take the menu with the starter and the dessert, for a price, of course, significantly more pupil. Too bad we couldn't order a carafe. The taste of the meals was good.

Always been delighted with this restaurant, until last week the service was terrible. I asked the waitress for a Ricard who just told me that they didn't have any while I saw the bottle on the bar, I decided to order a beer which was served to me at half filled in min glass. Then we ordered a 4 meat fondue, which to our great astonishment was actually a 3 MEAT fondue!!! what's more, some pieces are frozen. The highlight of the show was when the fondue stove broke down twice in a row without anyone really wanting to take responsibility and quickly give us another one. Basically we had to wait for the oil to heat up again to continue eating. All this without even a free coffee or a sorry from the owner who was more interested in her friends coming to eat at the same time as us. The waitress just told us "we put more meat on you to compensate" in no way does that justify paying for 4 meats if we only had 3 and not very good by the way. That's it, I often came with my partner, suffice to say that I would never set foot there again.
