Excellent Thai cuisine, spicy according to your tastes. Small terrace and quite cozy dining room. Bistro room with a fairly cold entrance. If you like Thai cuisine, don't let that stop you.

Excellent Thai restaurant with super friendly service

Very small restaurant, food so good, staff friendly. Price/performance is right. Why only 3*? The restaurant at the front of the street is very small and not very cozy, the restaurant at the back is more comfortable, but very dark for lunch. It's a shame we couldn't go on the terrace, maybe then there would be one more star. All in all, OK for a quick lunch, not suitable for inviting customers, for example.

We ordered takeaway a long time ago, a portion of fried rice, one of fried noodles, 4 breaded shrimp and 4 small chicken skewers. The bill comes to 74 francs. The quality and flavor of the food is impeccable, however, I wish the portion was bigger :)

The restaurant is excellent. At noon it offers a "plat du jour" at a very affordable price and that is a starter and a main course. However, the menu "à la carte" is available as well.At dinner time, only the menu is available, which more expensive than the noon possibilities. There are multiple starters, of which one of my favourites is the "Café du Solei". The variety of curries is simply astonishing!Julien, the server, is very efficient and friendly. Ms Dumpen, the owner and cook, is a Thai national married to a Swiss national, Patrick.

Very good Thai restaurant, the dishes are made with fresh ingredients and cooked authentically. The welcome is warm and helpful. The person willing to serve knows the dishes very well and will be happy to provide you with information. There is a terrace which unfortunately overlooks the road. We can not have it all.

Depuis mon avis de l'année dernière, la cuisine s'est améliorée. Des cuissons mieux réussies. Des plats généreux. Et le patron est très sympathique ! Terrasse avec ses nombreux chats à faire en été !

Que ce soit sur place ou à l'emporter venez c'est très bon qualité prix et l'accueil sympa... Petite terrasse en été et jolie salle en intérieur...

Un resto sympa avec des plats thai tres bons. Une terrasse ombragee et un plat du jour raisonnable. La carte permet de trouver son bonheur et le niveau d'epices est respecte pour les palais europeens.

My friend and I chanced on this restaurant whilst hiking in the area. I had the menu du jour for Fr. 19 which consisted of a well seasoned green mango salad with a few prawns and peanuts followed by fish fillets in a ginger sauce with rice. My friend had a green veg curry á la carte. My two dl. of local white wine came in at an astonishing Fr. 3.70. Would definitely go again to this village restaurant without a tourist in sight.

Best Thai restaurant in Geneva. Friendly owner, as well as bold and tasty flavors. It is a bit tricky to find, and a little pricey, however, I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for tasty Thai food. 10/10

Le jeun couple vous offre un accueil très sympathique et cordial. Les mets sont d'excellente qualité et bien superbement préparés et présentés. On voit qu'ils aiment ce qu'il font. Accord mets et vins très bien choisi. Le fait d'offrir le demi-menu est une formule très appréciée pour une dégustation de fin gourmet. Nous y retournerons.

En campagne.Petit restaurant auquel on accède sur le côté par une cour intérieure.Décor de vieille cave avec pressoir. Peu de tables, toilettes à l'extérieur.Accueil aimable.Plat du jour 19 francs. A la carte un cher (par exemple, nouilles sautées (porc, bœuf ou crevettes 27 francs).Vins locaux.Bonne cuisine thaï assez relevée. On nous demande le degré de piquant souhaité 0 à 4. J'aime manger épicé, le 2 est largement suffisant !

Habitant à côté, cela fait 5 ans que nous prenons de temps en temps à l'emporter. Compter dans les 60 francs pour une famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants mais c'est très bon et avec option du piment de 1 à 4 pour les plats. Et le patron est sympa ambiance bistrot dans la partie bistrot et vrai resto dans le resto.

L'accueil et la qualité de la cuisine m'ont fait oublié la salle trop petite et très sombre...Les plats sont joliment présentés et copieux. La cuisine précise et les gouts très justes.J'étais là par hasard mais c'est sur, si je dois y repasser...je retournerai au café du soleil avec plaisir :)

C'était vraiment délicieux, je vais y retourner. Le patron est super sympa, prend le temps de nous expliquer les plats et est attentif. En partant j'ai dit merci à travers la fenêtre et Madame Kongjon-Keller a couru à l'entrée pour nous remercier, adorable!

C'est un de mes restaurants thai préférés dans la région de Genève, le cadre et le service sont assez originaux mais on y mange toujours extrèmement bien. Les menus du jour sont toujours très bons. Le service est rapide.Je recommande vivement !

Posto tradizionale e accogliente. Da provare sia la fondue che i Malakov (eccezionali). Anche la carne e' sempre molto buona. Chiedere i tradizionali calendari disegnati da/per loro molto carini.

A la demande de notre petite fille qui fêtait ses 8 ans, nous sommes allés la fêter dans ce petit restaurant où, par chance, le soleil était au rendez-vous qui nous a permis de rester en terrasse. Nous avons commencé par une "bigarade" subtil assemblage de Chasselas et d'orange amères, excellent, dépaysant et très charmeur pour nos papilles! Puis nous avons pris les Délices du soleil, entrées toutes plus délicieuses les unes que les autres...brochette de poulet, Nems végétariens, crevettes frites, petites bourses frites aux légumes...un régal! Nous avons continué par une découverte du poulet aux noix de cajou, un porc au gingembre, un porc à l'aigre doux, un bœuf au curry Pa Nang et au lait de coco, 4 piments, un bœuf au curry Madras, un bœuf au curry vert, un assortiment de Nems le tout accompagné de riz avec un Diolinoir de Pessy particulièrement bien assorti à notre choix et conseillé par le maître de céans Julien, toujours prévenant, rapide, efficace de quoi surprendre nombre de convives. Pour terminer, un assortiment de saveurs beignet de bananes, d'ananas, mangues juteuses à souhait avec de délicieuses glaces offertes aux enfants...un pur bonheur!Alors si un soir d'été, l'envie vous prend de goûter à de nouvelles saveurs, n'hésitez pas et laissez-vous faire, le détour en vaut la peine et la gentillesse des nos hôtesses et de Julien vous ravira
