Café Milo in Nyon

Apparently, we really came across the wrong person this Thursday, March 7, late in the afternoon at 5:30 p.m. Usually we are very well received with a hello and a smile which seems to me to be the minimum at the counter as a customer. The person present clearly did not want to be there and welcome us normally. When asked about the infusions available, she clearly dismissed us, with a wave of her hand, pointing to the list of teas, with a deplorable, minimalist attitude. Furthermore, when we arrived at our table, we noticed that the place was dirty not only on the table but under the table. Too bad, we will hesitate to come back next time. Too much to pay for poor service.

I've been a regular at the café for a while, but I wanted to put in a word for a new server (Maël, I think?). Although he is new and trying to get his bearings, I found that he showed impeccable professionalism. He is discreet and cordial at the same time and extremely attentive to the needs of customers. I have often been very well received at Milo and this is a very important point in my opinion, but here, he sets the bar a little higher.

Today 9.12.23 at 11:30 a.m. very well served by very kind staff. Unfortunately a couple with two children between 6 and 10 years old made life hell for the staff and customers. It's a shame that parents are not able to manage their children. If you don't know how to manage children in a public domain, you stay at home! Thanks to the staff who tried to manage.

The coffee machine was broken, I had tea warmed in the microwave, and a horrible coffee also warmed in the microwave and I was charged the same, very expensive, 11 CHF. Unhappy

The staff was friendly and smiling but unfortunately the small cup of matcha latte at 8.20 chf for an earthy taste was too much for us.

I visited this cafe and it was simply lovely! The staff was extremely friendly, there were great vegan options, and the lemon tart was to die for!

The cold peach tea has no taste, it's not very good and the chairs are full of bird droppings

Excessively expensive for my taste. We paid 13.60 for coffee + glass of homemade lemonade + raisin roll. I guess the coffee was over 4.- and the lemonade was over 5.-. Definitely excluded for me to return there.

I stopped at the Milo café in Nyon I was pleasantly surprised First of all by the welcome Then not the quality of what my wife and I ate We will most certainly come back... .. And be sure I will talk about it around me it's rare to see very nice little places like this....thank you

Welcome not at all friendly! No hello, no goodbye… barely a thank you. Not at all kids friendly. Basically, if we are not a student ready to spend a little express and a big glass of water, we are not welcome.

A quiet place where you are very well received with a wide range of fresh and delicious products. A big effort on local products or the price sometimes could be reluctant but you will not be disappointed with the quality. The Sunday brunch is worth discovering.

Good cupcakes and nice location. WiFi available. It’s a shame that this concept doesn’t offer any service.

Very nice, bright café, pleasant to sit there with a coffee to work. The food was good quality and fresh. Unfortunately very few vegetarian options for lunch and zero vegan options. Service ok but absolutely not smiling, it's a shame. Ditto for the price of drinks (5.- for a cup of hot water and a bag of tea, all the same…)

A smoothie served in a water glass… a lady at the reception UNPLEASANT! When it comes to a coffee shop, customer service is most important! Please teach your staff to smile or say hello. Next time, I will go to Mumbai at least they know how to choose their staff in addition to the much more affordable price. Beautiful shaded and quiet terrace in the city center. Unfortunately the tables are not well arranged and the windows really need to be cleaned. Inside, very pretty decor and very good products. Hoping for a change...

Madam in charge on Saturday rude. No idea how we do service. Not sure I'll ever come back. Customer service is central in the f&b business. That’s hospitality 101

Their ‘plant’ milk tastes horrible and is too sugary (so the coffee drink comes put tasting bad). No offer of unsweetened or plain almond milk or coconut milk. Very difficult for people with dairy allergies. Too bad because it is in a nice location and has so much potential.

They have good snack options. I tried one of their tarts with potato and it was delicious. The staff are friendly and they lent me a charging cable for my phone. They have raised tables and charging points to sit and work on your laptop. The coffee is also good. The surroundings are very pretty.

Great cafe in the center of Nyon, it offers excellent cold coffee and breakfast options. The waitresses are extremely friendly and nice. It's also a good atmosphere for revision, on the terrace or inside.

It is a nice place, there are good things to eat, the people are very nice...but each time I come I have to wait for ever to get served! At the beginning I thought this was just a ponctual issue but after coming several times, I notice this is always the case: Waiting....waiting...waiting. Get the place properly staffed so that there is not only one poor person doing all the work: taking orders, preparing the drinks, cashing in, serving the tables, cleaning the dishes, ... It is such a shame because it is a nice place with good things to eat and invested people. I'm currently still waiting 30 min for my Capucino and I don't dare go to the poor guy because he's just overloaded Owner...Please DO SOMETHING

Good product especially spinach omelette. On the other hand, a member of the team was on several occasions non-commercial and more than unpleasant, not smiling, she waited for me to say hello before, for me it is prohibitive, entering a business and not even having 1 hello and noticing that when it's 1 man the respects are different. We have to say it! The rest of the team is just a delight in service, politeness and respect for the customer. Your prices are still high and that's not the problem, my problem is the human side, this person doesn't represent your brand, on the contrary she smears it, I come to this place when she's not there to avoid an unpleasant attitude! That of Alfred Cortot, the manager, nothing to say excellent! Thanks to him for his humanity! PS: obliged to come back, because forced to notice the change in said person, we see that the straps have been raised, but then with a mask of hypocrisy so blatant that it makes you uncomfortable, so sorry, thank you very much to have heard a customer and above all to have done what was necessary, apparently there are many of us, unfortunately I will continue to check who is at the service, and when it is safe I will turn around! Shame!
