Cafe Noir im Felix Platter Spital in Basel

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to give you feedback on my visit to the Cafe Noir on the ground floor of the Felix Platter Hospital. On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, I had an encounter with one of your checkout employees in the morning, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations of friendly customer service. Although I have previously visited the cafe regularly, I regret to inform you that due to this employee's behavior, I am considering choosing another facility for my breaks in the future. Her behavior towards me was quite flippant and unfriendly, which I found very unpleasant. Additionally, as I was leaving the restaurant, I overheard her making a derogatory comment about me to a colleague, which I find quite unprofessional. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, and this in itself is not the end of the world. However, I think it should be in the café's interest to employ customer-facing employees who enjoy dealing with people and have a customer-oriented attitude. I really appreciate Cafe Noir and would be sorry if such incidents tarnished the image that I and other customers have of your establishment. Very nice café, brown interior is somewhat reminiscent of American establishments. Relaxed atmosphere. Cappuccinos excellent!

Very expensive (4.50 for Apfelschorle) and strange atmosphere with a clear feeling of bad interior design (although it’s a new building), did not want to stay inside for long
