Disappointing welcome and service. On our first and last visit to this cafe we were received in an extremely dishonest and unprofessional manner. Arriving on site at 2:30 p.m. in bright sunshine, the employee present was closing the terrace. We asked him if we could have an ice cream to go, but he refused to serve us, saying that he had already closed everything. Surprised, I pointed out that on their website, the closing was announced for 3 p.m. To which the employee present - after unprofessional comments about his salary - responded that, as there was no one there (thanks for the 3 of us), he was closing and concluded by telling us: "I'm still doing what I want, I'm not at your service! If you want ice cream you just have to look elsewhere!" Which we did with pleasure - given the cold reception - while promising to never return there, since they obviously don't need customers.

Super little building on the edge of a small forest in the center of Lausanne. The food and drinks are good, original, affordable and healthy. The view of the lake is magnificent and for the delight of children (and adults), there is a play area in the shade of the trees. Everyone is benefiting.

Wonderful place to eat! In the heart of the forest and nature, serenity and fascinating views of Lake Geneva and the city. Extraordinarily delicious food, healthy options. We really liked the philosophy of everything being homemade and with local products. We will return throughout the summer. Simply recommendable and if you go with children it is great since there is a park next door.

The Café Perché! Wow! Great place to enjoy a superb view of the lake in a peaceful setting and while enjoying delicious dishes! Very welcoming staff, we highly recommend going there for a drink or a nice meal on the beautiful terrace in the sun. We will definitely come back!

This is a great hotel to stay in downtown Lausanne! Located only a few minutes away from the main station and central metro stops, the location is ideal. The rooms are comfortable, extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended for a stay in the city.
